We found Maria and Kent absolutely the best hosts, treated us more like long lost friends. We hope they come to visit us in Australia soon You really need your own transport to get there, we came by train but Kent offered to pick us up from the train station. Next day he took us down to the COOP shop for groceries but it didn't end there he also took us on a tour of the surrounds he is genuinely so proud of the piece of paradise where he lives. On our last day Maria took time off work to drive us back to the railway station. The location is stunning right next to Gissjo, the lake, lovely birch and fir trees all around. All around the lake you see the lovely Swedish farm building and dazzling green fields. Fransta, the township/village looks over Ljungan, a great waterway parts lake parts river. I would rate this place as a must see for any nature lover.

An absolutely fantastic place, close to everything you might want to do in a mountain. Unfortunately, winter had begun to shine with its absence at our stay but if you visit the cabin at normal snow length, you can go both luck and downhill directly from the cabin and back again. The cottage is probably relatively newly built and very fresh, possibly it has sat down a bit which caused the doors at the front and back to be a bit tricky when opening and closing. But it was kind of the only small thing we thought about, otherwise top notch!

Impeccable apartment. Everything about it is excellent

The Läkarvilla is a place with lots of character and it is equipped with everything you need when travelling the country. The beds are marvellous and the bedroom can easily be darkened in otherwise bright summer nights. Check-in was easy and communication with Karin and Tomas was very nice. Läkarvilla: definitely a good recommendation!

There were three of us in the apartment for 2 weeks. It is modern and offers a beautiful view. It is also right on the ski slope. We can recommend the accommodation!

Very nice and inviting apartment ! Plenty of room for the family with three children. We brought a travel bed for the baby that was well accommodated in the master bedroom. Well equipped kitchen. Very convenient with the elevator up to the apartment from the garage and thus very easy to pack all the stuff. Great landlord, easy to communicate!

Beautiful apartment very close to ski slopes (during winters), very close to some beautiful attractions and Idre town all within 10 mins drive. We had a wonderful stay with all amenities in the apartment.

Great place with immediate proximity to alpine slopes and great cross country trails. Lovely to come home to both sauna and outdoor hot tub after long days outside. Recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay in Olga’s house. It is a beautiful house in a perfect location for skiing and cross country skiing. The area was very relaxing and we didn’t want our week’s stay to end. Olga was very easy to communicate with too. The house was incredibly clean and we would highly recommend Olga’s house for a perfect winter holiday. We’d love to come back in winter and summer too 😃.

There could be a shower in 4 rooms, instead of a double shower

Great apartment with several bedrooms and bathrooms, very suitable for large families or travel companies. Sauna and large bathtub added to the experience. Magnificent views of the mountains in the west from the dining table and living room. With a little self effort, it was possible to get to ski in and ski out. We would gladly came back here!

We had a lovely stay in the cozy house. Particularly appreciated the view and hot tub on the patio.

We had a very pleasant stay in this charming flat. We enjoyed the beautiful view and the modern design. Everything was clean and functioning. We are under the impression that this is a new Airbnb since some small quality of life improvements could still be made. We rented this house for a while and were very pleased. The house is cozy, clean, and exactly as described. We especially appreciated the peace and seclusion — it’s a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Inside, everything is well thought out: comfortable furniture, good lighting, and a pleasant interior. Although there isn’t much infrastructure nearby, for us that was actually a plus — the quiet atmosphere, fresh air, and nature made it perfect for a peaceful stay. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and tranquility!
