The Trullo Apulia is an exclusive property, made by recovering an original ancient historic domed house (called "Trullo Saraceno"), enriched by swimming pool, Jacuzzi and steam room for private use, in a scenic location, just 2 km from Ostuni and 10 km from the beautiful beaches of Puglia. It can accommodate up to 8 people. Note: the reservation fee does not include consumptions of electricity (0.50€/kWh), gas (5€/m3) and the tourist tax (1€/day for each person for the first 5 days) that will be calculated and paid at the end of your stay. Ideale per 2 famiglie di amici che, fatta salva la privacy, possono godere di momenti comuni di relax e divertimento, può anche essere utilizzata come unica unità abitativa, utilizzando una delle due zone living come terza camera da letto matrimoniale. Tutti gli ambienti della casa sono climatizzati e dispongono di connessione internet WiFi. Gli ospiti hanno a disposizione un parcheggio privato. L’intera struttura ha una capacità ricettiva massima di 8 posti letto, mettendo a disposizione dei suoi ospiti ben 4 bagni, di cui 2 interni completi, un’area benessere con bagno turco, aromaterapia, ampia vasca idromassaggio (che si affaccia su una suggestiva parete rocciosa), doccia emozionale con cromoterapia e servizi igienici ed 1 bagno esterno (water+lavandino) con doccia. L’esclusiva piscina a sfioro di acqua salata con idromassaggio è immersa nel verde della macchia mediterranea. Questa oasi di privacy e di relax dispone di tutto il necessario, inclusa una Zona solarium, la doccia esterna ed il bagno di pertinenza. La profondità dell’acqua della piscina risponde ai requisiti di legge per garantire la massima sicurezza anche dei più piccoli. Molteplici sono gli spazi esterni arredati e le ambientazioni minimal chic che consentono agli ospiti di pranzare o cenare su un ampia terrazza panoramica ombreggiata da un gazebo cannucciato o di gustare, appena svegli, una ricca prima colazione all’aperto, in un’area attrezzata proprio davanti alla portafinestra della propria camera da letto, respirando i profumi dei campi, nell’intimità della luce del primo mattino. Al tramonto, l’unicità del trullo e del giardino circostante, vengono ancor più esaltati dall’illuminazione serale, che vi regalerà nuove emozioni ed un fascino indimenticabile, rallegrati dai sapori inconfondibili dei cibi grigliati al barbecue. Il complesso abitativo è frutto di una recentissima ristrutturazione di costruzioni dal valore storico (il Trullo Saraceno dalla caratteristica cupola bianca è ancora più antico del trullo a cono), in cui il sapiente recupero dei materiali, delle tecniche e dei canoni tipici dell’architettura e della storia pugliese, hanno consentito un restauro di interni ed esterni che mantenesse una linea fortemente evocativa e rispettosa dei luoghi, anche nell’arredamento dai colori chiari e naturali, studiati con la massima attenzione ai dettagli e costituito da pezzi unici e originali. Il fascino della location non conosce paragoni: la costruzione si affaccia su un giardino terrazzato caratterizzato dai tipici muretti a secco, oltre i quali si apre, a perdita d’occhio, su un’area di circa 6.000 mq di pertinenza esclusiva della casa, una valle di magnifici ulivi secolari su terra rossa. Un agrumeto, un frutteto, ampie aree di macchia mediterranea tra le quali trovano spazio molte piante ed erbe aromatiche, dischiudono immagini, in un tripudio di colori e profumi di natura incontaminata che illuminano gli occhi ed allietano la mente. l frutti e gli ortaggi tipici pugliesi, totalmente biologici, sono a disposizione degli ospiti. The Trullo Apulia combines the unmistakable Mediterranean style with modern comforts, for a unique atmosphere and original stay based on relaxation, privacy and natural wellbeing. The structure consists of 2 units (trullo with 3 cones + lamia) totally independent, but communicating with each other, separated by a lockable door. The whole structure has a maximum capacity of 8 beds, offering its guests: 4 bathrooms, of which 2 complete in the house and 2 external, a wellness area with steam room, aromatherapy, whirlpool bath (which overlooks a picturesque rock wall), emotional color therapy shower, toilet and outside 1 external bathroom (water + basin) with shower. The unique infinity pool with salt water with whirlpool is surrounded by Mediterranean greenery. The housing complex is the result of a recently renovation of the historic buildings (the Trullo Saraceno with its characteristic white dome is even more ancient then the Trullo with cone), in which the wise recovery of original materials, traditional techniques and typical architectural standards, led a restoration of interiors and exteriors that maintained a strongly evocative silhouette respectful of places, even in furniture with bright and natural colors, designed with great attention to detail and consists of unique and original pieces. The charm of the location is unmatched: the building overlooking a terraced garden characterized by typical stone walls and surrounded by 6,000 square meters of red earth and magnificent olive trees for exclusive use. Citrus and fruits trees, a large areas of Mediterranean forest with many plants and herbs, disclose a nature with thousands of colors and scents that illuminate the eyes and gladden the mind. From the relaxing hammock and the stone made barbecue in a panoramic garden to the cozy fireplace, every space feels open and inviting. Immersed in total peace and tranquillity with a breathtaking view over the Chianti hills, halfway between Florence, Arezzo and Siena, the barn is a perfect homebase to visit Tuscany. The accommodation has 2 floors. The upper floor spaces 2 double bedrooms with wonderful views of the olive trees and a bathroom with window and large masonry shower. On the ground floor a cozy and spacious living area with fireplace and a kitchenette with gas stove a large fridge and oven. The barn has ceilings with exposed beams and bricks. Outside there is a panoramic garden set on its own where, in the shade of a walnut trees, you can relax on a hammock or grill your meal (included an authentic local Fiorentina steak :-) on the stone made barbecue. The closest towns are Cavriglia and the small Medioeval villages of Moncioni and Montegonzi. In each town you can find great local restaurants and a small grocery shop. Moncioni is 3 km far away. A big supermarket is located in Montevarchi and you can reach it in 8 minutes by car ( exactly 7 km far away). In Montevarchi you can also find one of the best farmer markets in Tuscany! The station of Montevarchi is 8 km away from the barn. From there you can take train to Florence and Arezzo. Siena can be reached in 30 minutes by car. The easy access to the motorway A1/E35 Milan-Florence-Rome (the Valdarno exit is only at 13 km) allows you to reach numerous interesting spots within a short time, both in Tuscany and Umbria, while few kilometres south of Cavriglia you enter the suggestive territory of the Crete Senesi. Out in the countryside, the home offers an authentic experience of Tuscany.
