Pian della Chiesa, Concara - nature, wine, paths, sea and shared pool

Pian della Chiesa is an 8 hectares estate that sits on top of the Caprione peninsula, 900 meters from the Mediterranean and 350 meters above sea level. It has different accommodation solutions: Murella (host 6), Dolina (host 6), Dolinetta (host 4), Bungalow (host 4) and Concara (host 2). It is in an ideal position for exploring the hill villages and coast of the Cinque Terre, Liguria and Northern Tuscany. Set in a Natural Park that is mainly made up of typical Mediterranean woods of umbrella pines, helms and Turkish oaks, woven with paths, and bordering the beautiful and steep coastline of Southern Liguria. It is ideally set for exploring the small villages on the coast, with delicious fish restaurants and hidden coves from which to swim. The Cinque Terre are easily reachable, with miles of walking paths on the craggy coastline, punctuated by villages clinging to the edge of the coast, with steep vineyards where the grapes are collected in mini-funicular train arrangements. Alternatively you might head east, towards the Apennines and the Apuan Alps, made of the famous Carrara marble so loved by Michelangelo. Deep valleys hold traces of the Romans and of the ancient indigenous population called the Lunis. The mountains also harbour delicious restaurants and charming villages worth exploring. The classic cities of Tuscany are also not far away, with Pisa and Lucca around an hour away, while Florence is just under 2 hours. Romantic cottage in the hedge of a basin in the oak woods of the Montemarcello Natural Park. Perfect for forays into the Cinque Terre or neighboring villages and a wonderful place to stay at home, lounging in a hammock stretched between the trees. Concara has been converted to be perfect for a couple, with a bedroom upstairs and a living room, bathroom with shower and kitchen on the ground floor. A small sofa in the living room converts into a bed if you wish to book it for three, but space will be limited. The kitchen and dining room have been built into a glass extension of the main building, creating a wonderful and bright space in which to cook. A lawn extends in front of the kitchen, bordered by low dry-stone walls in limestone that serve all around to terrace the hill. Next to our terraced Cabernet Franc vineyard you can enjoy our shared 10mx 3m pool with 4 sun loungers and a Balinese bed. We produce a fine organic red wine called 'Margot'. Very fast Starlink WiFi, ideal for remote working. Concara is equipped with a welcoming and efficient wood-burning oven. Wood logs are free. Central heating is available but not included. Piccola ma deliziosa depandance de il Rustico, deliziosa casa vacanze situata all'interno di un parco privato ed immersa nel fantastico Parco del Monte di Portofino, situata tra San Rocco e Camogli. La splendida posizione, oltre a fornire rilassanti panorami, dista pochi chilometri dalle principali località del Levante (Portofino, Santa Margherita, san Fruttuoso, Rapallo, Cinque Terre, ....). La spiaggia e il mare sono raggiungibili sia a piedi che con i collegamenti pubblici. Il Rustico e' anche in una posizione strategica per accedere al Parco del Monte di Portofino e a tutti i suoi sentieri di diversa difficoltà e bellezza che permettono di fare trekking, passeggiate, running. La casa è composta da un soggiorno con cucina, una camera da letto matrimoniale ed il bagno. Esternamente vi è un grande gazebo dove si mangia e ci si rilassa in un salotto all'aperto godendo della splendida vista sul golfo ligure.

The nest

Once called Arbec, our small stone shepherd's hut served as a kitchen and dining room. It was there that the milk was transformed into cheese and bush, where the family gathered for the evening vigil with the neighbors ,and where social life was tied up.Tools,seeds, harvests ,were also stored in the arbec. The stones of this small building are full of history and the thickness of its walls offers a sense of protection, peace, conducive to rest.

Very beautiful gypsy trailer under the oaks.

Between Vence and Coursegoules, atypical accommodation on the Saint Barnabé plateau at an altitude of 960 m, located 45 minutes from Nice airport, 35 minutes from the beaches and 20 minutes from Vence.
