Apartment vacation rentals in Isla Vista

This was the cleanest rental I've ever stayed in. We had our 10-month old with us, crawling around every inch of the place, and so I got a close-up view of the baseboards and corners and under furniture. The cleaners deserve a bonus! Beside that, this unit is very nice for a basic apartment building -- it feels recently updated and it gets wonderful afternoon light this time of year (April). The tree-lined street is quite charming, and the location is ideal for walking to explore the Funk zone, State Street, and harbor. Would stay again!

Comfortable stay for our first time in Santa Barbara! Located within minutes of the beach and a quick drive to downtown. Highly recommend!

This was our first time visiting Carpinteria and we enjoyed our stay here very much. Elena allowed both of our small dogs to stay with us, the beach was only about 2 minutes away, and most of the downtown area was very walkable. We also enjoyed walking along the trails of the Salt Marsh Nature Park which was across the street from us. The apartment was very clean and was fine for the two of us and our two small dogs. The only negative was that the people above us were very loud at times after 10pm and also before 8am. Elena was a wonderful host and we hope to back again some time soon for another stay. The Upstairs Unit 201 was a fabulous studio space! We were in town for a ranch wedding in Santa Ynez and spend 2 wonderful days in town. It has a beautiful interior design and well appointed with all we needed. We also enjoyed shopping in the local shops, dinner in town as well as a visit to Solvang as well. We would absolutely return for another visit. Thank you so much!

Santa’s 2nd floor apt was well equipped and very comfortable for the two of us. It was convenient to downtown Montecito and Santa Barbara. Check in was seamless and Santa was quick to respond. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom and living area were of good size. We would rent again next time we’re in the Santa Barbara area.

I would highly recommend Jonathan’s place to anyone looking to stay in Santa Barbara. It was incredibly clean, kitchen and bathroom stocked with everything you could need, very comfy bed and a special mention must be given for the shower (great shower head and nice water pressure)

Natty was a wonderful host! Beautiful space, quiet and relaxing. Great area to walk to restaurants, shops, and close to the ocean. Lots of outside sitting areas on her property too. Definitely recommend her place! Would love to have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay in Montecito while helping our daughter move during the busy UCSB graduation weekend! The apartment was absolutely perfect—clean, beautifully decorated, and tucked away in a peaceful, charming neighborhood. It offered the perfect mix of comfort and luxury, and we truly felt at home. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short drive to Santa Barbara, UCSB, and the stunning beaches. The area was easily walkable to local dining and shops. We enjoyed morning coffee on the patio and relaxing evenings with ocean breezes after the festivities. Our host was incredibly thoughtful and responsive. This trip was such a special moment for our family, and staying here made it even more memorable. We will be back! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area—especially for UCSB families!

We had such an amazing time at Carla's place! The place was exactly how it was listed and super clean and organized. The overall atmosphere of this place was so cozy and cute, and exactly what we needed. Loved how close it was to Downtown SB as well, and Carla also provided a lot of recommendations for things to do and eat. Only slightly negative thing was that they did use bleach to clean the main room before our stay, and while they did tell us about it and tried their best to air out the room before our stay, the smell was unfortunately really strong and we had to continue airing out the room and the floors always felt a bit damp after. Other than that though, our stay was amazing and relaxing, and we'd love to come back here again!

Angela’s place was superb. Super comfortable and well equipped. Perfect location, a short walk to the beach. Angela was friendly, efficient and very helpful. I highly recommend her place and will hopefully stay there again.

Listening to ocean waves all night was the most peaceful way to sleep. The view is incredible and location to the beach was amazing.

This place is a hidden gem in Santa Barbara. Beautiful neighborhood, home has great outdoor and indoor space. I felt right at home. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. Would choose to stay here next time over other places.

Heather was a great host. I stayed for close to three months so I really got to know the area and any time I had any queries with Heather. She got right back to me and resolved any questions I had. She’s flexible with pets, which is really helpful since a lot of places don’t take pets Yeah, great day awesome hosts. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Because we had a full house we set up this Airbnb for a guest.s They were a young couple with two small children and this Airbnb was perfect. Thank you so much for providing a wonderful stay

Had a great time! Geoff and Annika were great hosts. The sauna was so nice after a long hike. The place was clean, peaceful private, and easy to get to. Easy check in and out.

The house and the location were perfect! When we come back to Ventura this is where we’ll stay again. Everything was clean and our kids were happy with the games provided outside. This house made our vacation!

Would definitely stay again! 5 minute stroll to beach, lots of parking, great amenities and patio. Short drive to downtown or airport. 15 minutes. Very comfortable!

As always when we've stayed before it was a marvelous experience, quiet, comfortable, & peaceful. The place was clean, prepared & well supplied for guests. We loved the closeness of the beach, however, the defining aspect for us is feeling relaxed & rejuvenated with each stay.

Absolutely the best stay ever, Julie was outstanding in her communication and her place was ideal in every regard. I can not even say to all that is so easily accessible from her location. Every need I had was obtained in less than 7mins from her residence. I felt completely at home and more than satisfied with my stay. Charming unit and a short walk to Linden Ave. A few hundred yards to beach entrance. Host was very responsive. We will come again.
