Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Illinois River

We immediately felt very comfortable; everything was as described (actually, even better!) and we felt like we were staying at an old friends house. Super clean, with everything needed if you want to prepare your own meals. It was just the two of us, so we had plenty of room. I think it would also be perfect for a small family. We felt safe and the area was quiet and convenient. We spent most of our time in Springfield, which was an easy 30 min drive. We loved being able to come back to Petersburg to relax. Highly recommend this property; the owners were a joy to work with!!

We had a good time, arrived early and we're allowed to check in early with no issues, clean enough, but not spotless (nothing disgusting or even gross), everything was as described or in photos. I don't think I would pay the same price, again, not because anything was wrong or due to any problems, just seems kind of high, but we just had a small family of 4 not 2 or 3 families splitting the bill, so I understand that.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this beautiful air bnb. The view from the hot tub was spectacular! A gorgeous home with lots of fun fishing and areas to enjoy a beautiful walk. The home had beautiful paintings and sculptures. We would love to return!

Very quiet neighborhood, outside pool area was beautiful. House was spacious and very clean.

Kimberly’s school house canyon home was perfect for our stay! My husband and I wanted a home to stay in while we explored Starved Rock and Matthiessen state parks. The school house is perfectly situated between the two parks, and was a comfortable stay in between picturesque hiking. We especially enjoyed the fenced in yard and fire pit for relaxing evenings!

Our group of adults are children at heart. This stay was a happy mix of throwbacks and childhood memories. The hosts were amazing and attentive and made us feel right at home throughout our entire stay. Would recommended for groups of all ages :)

We had an awesome stay at The Escape 2 in Ottawa, IL. I came with my three best friends, all of us 30+, for a nerdcation, and this place was perfect. It’s ideal for both adults and families looking for fun. We spent most of our time in the incredible theater area. The giant TV was perfect for movie marathons, and the reclining seats were super comfy. The snacks Teresa left were a great touch and really made it feel like a movie night. My only wish is that it had a soundbar or surround system to complete the theater vibe. The arcade machines were a blast. NBA Jam was the star and we had some intense battles. Skeeball and basketball in the garage kept us entertained for hours. The house had everything we needed. The filtered water jugs were a nice extra and Teresa’s communication was spot on. She checked in just enough to be helpful without ever being intrusive. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend. 5/5.

Kevin and Jaime’s place was perfect, we were traveling to visit family in another state and we stopped here in the way. It was such a quaint and peaceful place. The drive relaxed me immediately with all the farm fields and quiet. There was a clear night sky to see the stars. It just warmed my small town girl heart. We live in the suburbs now and I felt at home here. They even have a pac-n-play that our 11 month old used. It was so nice not to have to haul ours out. Overall the stay was perfect. Our German Shepherd was just in love with the trails and free rein she got to have to run around. I recommend bug spray since it’s flea and tick season. We already know we will stay with them again on our way back. We highly recommend this place for your relaxation needs, even for just a night.

Very tidy and cozy house. Super nice and helpful hosts. Everything is beyond my expectation. Due to the dust storm, it took me much longer time and finally arrived near midnight. Andy & Lynn waited and helped me. I'm very grateful. Arthur is also a nice town. I wish I could stay longer.

I don’t think I can put in words, what you are getting when you stay here and at that price too! Plenty of space, water and snacks and a huge yard for the kids to run around on. The direction Priscilla gave were needed as Apple Maps took me to not the right house, google maps was spot on but with her directions, we were right as rain. We were only there for one night but it seems like there is enough to do in the town that I could see us coming back for some more time. We would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again!

This place was amazingly beautiful. I had originally booked it because we were driving through and needed a place to stay and it looked comfortable. But it was wow!! A hidden gem! We hope to come back sometime.

We had a girls trip and stayed at this Airbnb and it was perfect! The vibe and how comfy and at home we felt! Will definitely stay here again if in Illinois again! Highly recommend

Lisa’s accommodations were private, serene and comfortable, very clean and thoughtful for guests. She is a great host.

this was the perfect Airbnb for my friend, and I when we went into town and saw REO Speedwagon. Barb went above and beyond and even had snacks in the room for us and everything else to make us comfortable and feel welcome. She met us there on our arrival and was so friendly and helpful! her place was very clean and on the outside there was a nice area to sit and enjoy the evening and morning with beautiful flowers and nice atmosphere! Barb went above and beyond to make us feel at home and to be helpful in anyway she could. I would absolutely 100% recommend this Airbnb and hopefully if my friend and I ever return to Champaign we will be staying at this Airbnb! Thanks, Barb

Daniel’s place was just what we needed. It was extremely clean and we loved that it was close enough for us to walk to the local bars and restaurants. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time and the place is extremely nice, easy to find, great access and close to a lot of the places we like to go too.

Tina was incredibly responsive and took extra care to be sure our three-year-old was well-accommodated. She graciously worked with us on an early check-in when we arrived in town sooner than expected, which was so appreciated. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed to feel at home for the week.

Excellent place, Very fresh and so clean! Spacious and comfortable. The patio with pond view provides for a relaxing view. Everything we needed was already there. Host responds very quickly and we Thank the host for everything. Highly recommend.
