Cabin vacation rentals in Illinois River

This is a must stay location!! Growing up in a farming family the opportunity to stay in a "silo" or grain bin as we call them was special. Joe has done an amazing job on the place!

The hosts were both absolutely lovely, so kind and helpful! The home has so much attention to detail, it’s unbelievable. So cozy and fun, tons of super neat games to play and perfect places to hang out and enjoy the cozy vibes! The hot tub was clean and the spot is perfect, definitely would book anytime I’m in Peoria!

Great place for a quick getaway! It's exactly as advertised, and well-stocked to spend a couple days. It provided a great, quieter space out of the city with a hot tub - exactly what I needed!

If you are looking for a place to stay with all the you could ask for Corey’s home is the place. The pictures of the view and his home or nothing compared to the naked eye I have stayed at many Airbnb over the years of traveling for work and fun and by far this place has to be my favorite thank you again Corey for letting us have a weekend a beautiful memories that we will never forget You get a 10 star rating from us Renee M

I travelled to Utica for an extended work trip and stayed 7 weeks at Tricia's cabin. I had a great time and was very satisfied with everything. I especially liked the kitchen which is very spacious and perfectly equipped. It is a quiet place in a beautiful location, right next to Starved Rock state park. Tricia is a great host and communicated clearly. I would return anytime and wholeheartedly recommend her place to everyone

Maddy’s place was perfect! Our trip was changed a few times due to work and Maddy was always so quick to help and adjust everything we needed. We will absolutely be staying again if we come back to the area!

We had a great stay! The place was clean and the surroundings were very peaceful. We enjoyed exploring the trails around the property. There was also easy access to trails on the adjacent park which were very private.

Great location ! Located between Chicago and St. Louis so about a 3 hour drive to get peace and quiet. Cabin appears to be newly built and the place is SPOTLESS !! 10 minute drive to Walmart or Kroger or if you prefer get some local good eats !! Also plenty of Firewood for us city slickers :)... Has a smoker and a Blackstone griddle that are really good. Only thing if one prefers , bring a charcoal grill if allowed ..?? Place was awesome !! Thank you Jennifer and siblings. 5 STARS !! We'll be going back !!

Loved staying here. The house was great and as described. The lake view was beautiful, and the house was stocked super well. There was a guide with food and things close which was nice. My bf said I should give it 4 stars because the guide mentioned 4 dogs and we only got to see two Lol. But the two were nice to see! I will definitely keep this house in mind if we need anything in this area.

This place was great. There isn’t much around here to do, especially in the winter, but we were looking to mostly disconnect from the outside world for a week and this was great for that. Aside from laundry there is really is everything you need to live here full time including a fully stocked kitchen with various helpful appliances like a crock pot and toaster stashed away but accessible. Perfect for a few days or a full week! It was a little dusty in some spots but otherwise clean and well kept. Had a great time. Hoping to come back when the weather is warmer and take advantage of the lake!

We just had a great stay at Shelly's place. It is really spacious and clean. The beds are quite comfortable. Highly recommend!

Buck’s Cabin was most accommodating. The place is a hidden gem and the perfect getaway! I cannot say enough about Matt. He definitely went above and beyond to see that I had everything I needed and more. Talk about going the extra mile!!!!!!!He was definitely the perfect example of midwestern hospitality at its finest. I would definitely recommend Buck’s Cabin and am looking forward to my next stay there.

I cannot begin to put into words the beauty of this place and the amount of peace that was restored while visiting. Stacy kept in contact often and was very responsive. she was open to being flexible with the n8mber of guests we had arriving on 2 different days. she was very flexible regarding out pets. and our pets LOVED the ability run and run and run around the home and the pond.

Fully intend to come back! We often like to find remote quiet cabins for quick weekends away, and this has been the best so far! So beautiful, absolutely perfect restoration of a historic cabin. I own a cleaning company and I’ve never seen such a clean rental! We had a beautiful walk through the creek just behind, a whole day exploring antique store in the nearby small towns, great coffee shops and a whole day visiting historic stuff in Springfield. It felt like home to come back and relax here. Loved seeing and listening to the wildlife. Cant rave enough about this listing!

It was wonderful staying at this Airbnb! Had so many beautiful sights, surrounded by nature. Great retreat for anyone visiting friends in the area!

Justin’s and Katie were absolutely great, the house address is on a dead end road so your gps don’t take you exactly to the house but Katie explained everything to us and it was extremely easy. We drove in brome buff ny and had to drop off some stuff early they had no problem. Justin was also great him and his friend Austin helped us with some hunting information and were very knowledgeable about where to go places around the town 10/10 recommend if your looking to stay in a “remote cabin getaway” only downfall is I’m booking it again for this week next year and you can’t have it 😂😂😂

awesome cabin to relax in

This place was great and close to several parks. Ryan was an excellent communicator. He responded promptly to questions. We didn't stay at Great Bear Lodge, but the house was on lodge property so we could walk to it for food/activities. We planned to visit their indoor water park and were disappointed to hear they stopped selling tickets to non-lodge guests, but Ryan proactively reached out with this update. The house was a little difficult to find because somehow the address didn't copy correctly from the listing into Google maps, plus the house was located at the very back of a cluster of villas behind Great Bear Lodge, so it was tricky to find at first but this is not Ryan's fault. He provided clear instructions. He was also flexible with our check-in which was appreciated while traveling with 2 young kids. One note: the bunk beds for kids are in the basement and the primary bedroom is on 2nd floor (in case you like to be close to younger kids), but our family had a great time.
