House vacation rentals in Illinois River

It was a great stay for me and my son and his wife and my two grandsons. The boys loved all the games and us adults really liked the pool table. Didn't get to enjoy the pool while we were there cause it was too early in the season, but all in all a really nice place to relax. It's got everything you need there minus the food of course.Give it a shot you won't be disappointed.

We absolutely loved staying here! The hosts live on site, but separately from the airbnb, and they definitely gave us privacy! We were able to communicate with them quickly about how to use the heated pool and customize the hot tub to our preferred settings :) We utilized the fire pit and made s’more’s with a kit they provided, which was awesome!! Clean-up was just place your trash in the breezeway and clean your dishes - nothing excessive. Overall 10/10 visit and definitely recommend!!

Renee was a great host with quick response time and provided added resources for what shelbyville had to offer. The house exceeded our expectations and we appreciated all the amenities that the house had to offer- will be recommending to other organizations to use for retreats!

Bachelorette weekend for my daughter in law to be. Loved the pool and hot tub. Beds were very comfortable. Michelle was available for all questions. Great Host!

We played in a SASA soccer tournament. The house is less than 5 minutes to the field. More than likely cheaper than a hotel. It was spacious.. It was nice to have a kitchen and be able to do laundry after games. If we ever play in a tournament in Springfield, I will be rebooking this room. Sometimes tournament hotels can get noisy and crazy.. This was just a nice relaxing weekend. Plenty of places to pick up food within 5 minutes as well. Safe neighborhood..

We had a relaxing time staying at this wonderful place for two nights. The house has plenty of space, was well-stocked and was quite peaceful. We particularly enjoyed having coffee and breakfast on the back deck, where it seems you’re the only people in the world. The basketball court, swings and lovely sitting area by the pond were also a huge bonus in this space. There were multiple MASSIVE catfish and cute little fishies to feed and watch, which made it that much more special. Thanks for a great wonderful getaway!

Heather's place has everything I needed and then some. She's a thoughtful host that goes above what's needed to make guests feel welcome. The location is perfect for accessing Constitution Trail with a very short walk to Keg Grove Brewery, the beautiful White Place neighborhood, and Illinois Wesleyan campus. I loved the shower, the front and back porches, the comfy couch where I napped more than once, and the decor/style of the home. It very much matched mine. It's a great place to stay in Bloomington/Normal and I'd return in a heartbeat!!

Bishop Hill was a super fun tiny town to visit! Highly recommend doing everything on their local tourist map. Carly’s house was beyond perfect. Four thumbs up and 2 tiny thumbs up from Sherri, daughter Sunny and baby grandson Rowdy!

Was perfect for our needs. My daughter loved running around the open space. One of the best airbnbs we have stayed in with her. Very little for a little one to get into and the gates were great for keeping her and the dog where we needed them!

Suzie’s place was great. It was clean and comfortable. We would likely stay again if visiting the area.

Small & cozy place. Very close to campus and the marathon festivities. Martha was very helpful!

Pam was a great host. She was exceptionally quick to respond. She and her husband were very friendly. The house had great views of the lake, river and wetlands. We could even see an active eagle nest. The horses and chickens were an added bonus! There are neighbors but it was still pretty quiet. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a nice stay. We would not hesitate to return.

Contacted Cathy a couple of times; she was quick to respond. My mom used the oven for breakfast and a dessert. The oven while old was working perfectly. Maintained temperature and cooked evenly. Mom is in her 70’s and used to own a bakery and still bakes fresh desserts twice weekly at her sister’s restaurant. Not your modern day junk. Plenty of restaurants room for 6 adults and wad easy to get to. Passed on the location to other relatives so they could have a better option than local hotels. Would stay again!

Exactly what we needed for our family get-together!! When I told them we were celebrating a late Christmas, they put out nice decorations to live things up!!! When we couldn't figure out the cable, they were immediately responding naive and ensured we had a great time. The grandkids and adults enjoyed the football table as well!!! 100% will stay with them again!!!!

Went for an overnight stay so we could hike at starved rock. This house was such a great idea. It is big enough for our group of 8 to have space!! Outdoor area was just beautiful and we enjoyed the fire pit! The beds were so comfortable too!!

So how to rate an AirBnB that prefect...Everything was as stated. Great location, great neighborhood, close to a grocery store. A, short easy drive to uptown Normal. We will be back.

Doug and team were amazing and made our stay so great for Christmas. We were all in town to see my grandma for Christmas. Unfortunately she passed the day after we left but we created the best memories with family in this home. I’m sure this will become a tradition for our family now. Really unique home in a beautiful area just outside of Peoria.
