We are very happy with the stay spent in the rental. the accommodation is as described or we feel very good there. Very quiet environment. hosts are responsive when needed. Beautiful walks close to the marshes and the beach, a beautiful place to discover.

The house is well situated nearby the center of Rivedoux village, close by to the bridge . The house is located in the border of the forest in a quiet neighborhood. The house is bright despite the low ceiling in the “retais” style. The fire place room was the favorite meeting place for board games, homework and late night discussions. With lot of corners and an elongated floor plan, everybody could find a private area to retreat. We had a really good winter holiday at Elisabeth and Dominque house. Thank you

Kevin was very responsive and helpful with questions. He greeted us and showed us how everything worked. He was very friendly. It was a very comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room on the very large sofa for our family. The pool was beautiful and bigger than it looked on the photo. There was a safe hard pool cover which was good for children. The showers were very good quality. It was very spacious place to stay with walk in wardrobe and view of pool from main bedroom. Good amount of shade outside with big umbrella over table and outside awning. Outside area with pizza oven was nice extra. Kitchen was high quality. Very short walk to supermarket was convenient. Felt safe to cycle with children right from property. Property felt private and not overlooked at all. Could hear the sea at night and so many stars. Was nicely decorated but not personal so felt at home right away.

We strongly recommend this little nest to rest. Feel a bit like home, it's sober and relaxing. Have a strong invitation to spend a few days there, personally I would go back!

Arnaud is a welcoming and very available host The house is perfect, very comfortable and well appointed The equipment is of quality and very functional The spa is a big plus! The location allows you to reach the port of Saint Martin de Ré in a few minutes by bike or just 10 minutes' walk. We had a wonderful stay Thanks again to Arnaud for hosting us warmly.

What a great experience! We booked the place in March and the weather was with us. We had a great week off in this beautifully renovated home. The accommodation is a 5-minute walk from a supermarket, local market (fishmonger, greengrocer, wines, oysters, etc.), restaurant and bike rental. The sea is literally next to the house (with 2 benches that are very convenient for improvised relaxation at any time). The accommodation is well-equipped: TV in each room (4!), soundbar, internet box, 3 comfortable sofas, auxiliary lamps, jacuzzi, ... The criticisms I read in the comments have either been corrected or were false: the beds did not make noise, the accommodation has a washing machine and dryer, the nightclub (high season) does not disturb the locals more than that, ... I dare not imagine the happiness of this accommodation in mid-season with temperatures allowing the use of the pool and plancha :o) Go for it!

Thanks again, we had a great time at this beautiful home ideally located on the island! The shops and Cheray market are all within a 5–10 min walk, and beautiful beaches are easily accessible by bike nearby. The house was impeccable, and very convenient for a vacation with friends and family and relaxing in the jacuzzi, I would highly recommend it. Overall we had a nice stay. The house is in a very nice location, right next to the stadium, which can be convenient for rugby fans. It is carefully decorated and the enclosed garden is pleasant. Anthony gave us some great tips for discovering La Rochelle. We recommend this listing for a quiet stay.

We had a fabulous week in Virson. The house and garden are beautiful and an ideal location for a relaxing break. We loved the friendly chickens on site too! The house is well equipped and had everything we needed for the week. Great location in the quiet countryside. The house Is just half an hour drive away from beautiful La Rochelle and there are lots of supermarkets and amenities a short drive away. Alexandre is super helpful and quick to respond to messages. This was our first time using Airbnb and the experience was really positive. Highly recommended!
