Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!

Warm Wooden Chalet next to Onsen and Skilift

Tamanegi is a whole new type of construction for Nozawa Onsen. Best insulated and eco construction in the village. Amazing views and warm wooden feel. Right in town and only 50 Meters to the nearest public Onsen. Super close to the first chair lift Karasawa. 2 Fully equipped kitchen, 2 x bathroom and 3 floors so great for group of friends or 2 families. The basement has a big play area for kids. The chalet is built in Japanese-Swiss style and offers 2 great living and kitchen areas.

We have 2 twin beds per room that can be joined together to make king beds, upon request. Fully contained, and you will have the property all to yourself. Perfect location as it's close to many ski resorts in the area. 5 minute drive from Myoko-kogen train station. 10 minute walk to 7eleven. 20 minute walk to daichi supermarket. 10 minute drive to Akakura / Ike / sugi ski resort. 20 minute drive to Madarao / Tangaram ski resort. 4wd necessary or 2nd & chains. The location: Robin Lodge is located conveniently near the entrance of Madarao mountain resort. The welcome center “Yama no Ie” is a few minutes’ walk from the house. The property is quiet and beautiful, full of nature--- perfect for taking a walk, spotting birds and animals in all seasons. The ski slopes are in a walking distance, or a couple of minutes by car.
