Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and the starry sky. It is recommended not only for those who want to relax in Azumino and Ikeda-cho, but also as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. Currently, accommodation is available from June 29th to July 3rd, and this is the time when you can see many fireflies nearby. Would you like to enjoy the new greenery, BBQ, and sauna in quiet Shinshu before the summer vacation? Convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. It can accommodate group trips, family trips, and stays of several nights to long-term stays. There is a laundry machine and a bathroom with a dryer for a comfortable extended stay. You can get here by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient in this area. If you come by train, there may not be a taxi, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance. Free pick up and drop off is available from Akeshi Station and Shinano-Matsukawa Station. Paid transfers to and from Matsumoto Station, Nagano Station, and Sawando Bus Terminal are available upon consultation.

Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Enjoy your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places nearby such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. Feel free to use the entire building, which has been renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, as well as the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery and the forest where the stream flows.You can see birds, squirrels, and martens in the forest, and you can enjoy walking around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid attention to the interior of the room and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". At the pavilion by the stream, you can enjoy BBQs and campfires without worrying about the weather. In the green season, it is the perfect base for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, and golf, and in the snow season, it is also the perfect base for winter sports. There are several hot springs about 20 minutes away by car. - WiFi (network environment) available ・ No smoking inside the hall (inside the accommodation facility). There is a smoking table in the garden. There are no restaurants nearby because it is far from the city. Please have dinner before you arrive or bring your food. The kitchen includes water, a gas stove, dishes, pots, and frying pans. There is also a fire pit for barbecuing in the garden. The accommodation fee is 6,500 yen (due to rising prices, the price will be raised) We do not accept last-minute reservations (please book at least 3 days in advance)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
