Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hovden

We stayed at Marco's place for a week over New Year's Eve. We were there with four adults, one child, two toddlers and a dog. The place was very cozy and above all big enough for all of us. It was clean and everything important in terms of amenities was on site. The view was incredibly beautiful (especially from the jacuzzi) and the nature around it perfect for walking. We felt comfortable and what can be emphasized very positively was the communication with Marco. He was always friendly and always easily accessible. We just found it a pity that the firewood was not included in the price, as we know this from other accommodations and that some things were distributed outside (dishwashing brush, mop, grill grate). We were a little surprised, but didn't bother us. So it's complaining to a high standard. If the world wasn't that big, we would definitely come back.

The cottage is all with all the comforts and very comfortable. The hosts, Hans and Annelene are very hospitable and we got tips for places to visit in the area. We'd love to come back to discover more of this beautiful area.

Wonderful place tucked away by a lake. Very cosy and has everything you need. If you visit in winter the road can get slippery so make sure you are well prepared!

Very well-equipped kitchen. Shopping for groceries and attractions such as Hamaren Activity Park and Bygdemuseum is within walking distance. Location is great for things to do in the area. Especially for fishing and hiking, the location was ideal. On the terrace you could enjoy the sun all day.

Amazingly beautiful with a big lake just over a small road. Rauland's ski area was perfect for our grandchildren (3.3.5 and 5.5 years) Plenty of wood we could use for both inside and out. We had a great week!

We had an amazing stay in Mannestoga. Aasmund was very nice to communicate with and the house was warm and welcoming when we arrived. The house is lovely and elaborate, with beautiful carved and rose painted details. We felt at home right away. The beds are comfortable and it is super cozy to sit in the kitchen and in the living room. We were only staying one night and didn't want to leave this great place. We hope will be back!

We had a lovely week in Rauland. We were there without a car and could do everything in about 15 minutes on foot (shopping, to the cross-country ski trails or even to the free ski bus). The house was very cozy and something very special!

Absolutely nice apartment, neat and clean. Close enough to cross-country skiing and alpine skiing. Afternoon sun in March on the terrace disappeared early behind the mountain, only small minus for our part

We spent our winterbreak holiday at her place for the second time around. It felt like a home away from home. It has newly renovated bathroom. Almost everything we needed was readily available. Berit was very welcoming. The kids had fun and we would denitely come back. Highly recommended

Cute cottage apartment in beautiful surroundings! Can recommend. Alf Magne and Nina are very responsive. Hytta has everything you need. Just note that the slopes are only open Fri-Sun - which we did not check, arriving on a Monday. Our fault! Thankfully Hovden is only a 45 min drive away where we enjoyed the slopes and skiløypen.

We had an incredible stay at Hans Erik's place. Large and cozy apartment, with everything you need. We had a great time with a fireplace in the evenings, and the kids thought it was a lot of fun with their own living room with TV upstairs on the 2nd floor. The view from the terrace was magical and it takes about 5 minutes to walk down to the Alpine Center.

we had a very nice weekend and the cabin location was great. a little difficult to find, but admittedly dark and snowstorm. then we got very good help from Hege on tel with good instructions to get there well. thank you for borrowing your great cabin apartment 🤗
