Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Houghton

Freshly remodeled house with tons of space! Clean rooms, bed, and bathrooms! Enough parking space for two trucks one with a 2 place enclosed and one with a 3 place enclosed. Kitchen was huge and open! Upstairs bedrooms with more than enough space and a big open bathroom! Can’t wait to come back again, walking distance to a few restaurants for dinner after a long day on the trails 10 out of 10!

Ross’s house was in a beautiful location, and he has many beautiful photos all around to study. The windows in the back of the house were so fun to look at the waves, ice formations and aurora borealis.

Your home was beautifully equipped for your guests! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay for a few days to visit our daughter at MTU. The home is just south of campus & beautiful location. The home was equipped with everything needed for our stay. Would highly recommend & stay again! Thank you!

Great location to stay at if you are doing a snowmobile trip. The snowmobile trail is right down the road from the house. There is enough room to park a large trailer in the driveway!

Place was amazing. Friends weren’t sure about it from the outside but amazed when they seen the inside. Able to park 2 full side trucks with 22’ trailers. Just have to know how to back them up! My group will be back in 2 weeks and hopefully more next year!!

Shelly’s place is really nice! We would stay here again. One thing of note is that the salon behind the studio as well as the apartment above do transfer some noise. If you don’t mind that, you’ll love this very clean and comfortable studio. It’s very close to all things Michigan Tech as well. You can be on campus in less than 10 minutes. Shelly’s place was perfect for our work trip!

The apartment was exactly as described. Great place for two travelers or parents with one to two children. It has a nice view good location to what Houghton has to offer.

This is a great space and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. It is obviously cared for as if it was an extension of someone’s home and you can feel that when you’re there. Extremely cozy and comfortable. Well stocked with all the necessities and super close to downtown, not to mention the fantastic , coffee, donuts and pasties at the shop Downstairs!

This was perfect for a quick ski weekend. Very comfortable, clean, slept like a rock, and could make out meals. Would definitely come back again.

We stayed here on a snowmobile trip. It worked perfectly. Right next to the trail. Easy trailer parking. It sits right on the railroad bed and has gas 10 miles in either direction. The apartment is clean and as advertised. Clean bathroom and plenty of hot water. Plenty of room to gather. 10/10 would recommend if you want to snowmobile in the UP. Trout creek is pretty central to getting everywhere.

Christina’s place is conveniently located to Swedetown for exceptional cross country skiing and an easy 30 min drive to Mount Bohemia for down hill skiing and a unique spa experience . Her place is also walking distance to restaurants in town. The yoga studio was very relaxing and enjoyable, I would not skip out on this experience. Christina is the yogi instructor and very welcoming and knowledgeable on the area. If I was to come back to town this would be a place I would want to check out again.
