Vacation rentals with beach access in Houghton Lake

The place was very clean, which is always my #1 priority. It was tastefully decorated. There was a musty smell, I’m sure caused by the concrete. We left the windows open and febreezed often and that seemed to help. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was the bed. The bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. I would stay here again, if there was a different mattress and pillows. The location was great for us! The traffic noise wasn’t a problem for us. We really enjoyed the short walk to the water! Very nice.

Not too big, not too small. Lindsay's place was everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We felt cozy and at home, perfect for resting between busy days. The beach is quite a walk but the hand drawn maps help to find the way!

Juli Lynne's place is very comfortable, very livable, very clean, and right next to a wonderful county park where you can take a nice walk. Juli Lynne was very nice, very communicative and made sure we were satisfied with everything, and we were. It was a great place for a weekend getaway!

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Super cute apartment unit! They had all the amenities, clear instructions, it was super clean and easy to check in and out of! Very nice! The host was super helpful with instructions and information before check in too!

We have stayed several times now. This place has a beautiful view of Lake Missaukee. They are always accommodating with check-in time. Check in and out was easy. Walking distance to restaurants. It had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

Hidden Gem close to Lake, Roscommon and Forest Dunes Golf Course. Looks bigger in person than the pictures. Great back porch for enjoying northern michigan evenings.

Host was super quick to responds and sent a ton of info of things to do in the area. A very nice, peaceful time on the lake.

We had a great last minute one night stay. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer. The lake is peaceful and stunning. Kayaking at sunset was the highlight of our overnight stay. We really appreciated the pellet grill. Our dogs loved the yard and hanging on the dock. The cabin was cozy, clean and we felt right at home. Would love to come back in the future for a longer stay! not only is this a cute little place to stay but super close to trails and town! Amy was also so helpful and very quick to respond before and after booking! Will be rebooking in the future!

We had a great time at the chalet on our trip to cross-country ski in the area. Great location and quiet. Appreciated the treats (hot cocoa and s’mores). Kids loved the upstairs. Super comfy beds and nice open layout. Snowed quite a bit before and during our stay- excellent ski conditions and we enjoyed exploring the many xc ski areas within 7-25 min drive (XC Ski Headquarters, Forbush Corner, Hanson Hills, Hartwick Pines). Best lunch was at The Stone Turtle Cafe at XC Ski Headquarters.

This spot is such a gem, and so is Fran! Highly recommend staying here, every detail is thought out which makes a little vacation so easy! The views are gorgeous!

Very close to a quiet little beach. Nice quiet place to stay.

Great stay at Spider Lake. Super location in the group of buildings, if you want to be right at the water and don’t mind people being on a little beach in front of the unit and at the two docks siding that beach. So, while it’s not very private, you’re right back from the lake edge! Tidy and clean. Great host. Someone parked in our parking spot once late at night, and Luke was helpful directing us to another space. Would stay again!

When we had an issue with check-in that had nothing to do with Martin, he was very responsive and helped us work through the problem with management. The view out the back that overlooked the golf course was stunning! When we left something behind at checkout, Martin went above and beyond to help us get it back. Amazing host! Would absolutely stay again.

Fabulous place to call home for a few days for a conference being held at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. Holly was the consummate host, communicative and helpful with questions. If you are a golfer, you can't find a better spot.

Comfortable and clean place to stay. Enough space for 2 adults, well equipped kitchen and close to the golf course. We enjoyed our stay and the host was very responsive.

Well worth the price, it was very nice inside and clean! Easy check in and check out, was pretty peaceful and cozy! I would recommend this Condo to anyone going to the area, when i go back i will definitely be staying here again!
