Beautiful place inside out. Very well located in between the view of Pico and the sea. We couldn’t find a better place to visit the island.

We loved the thoughtful food items left for us. The beds are firm and comfortable, and the heaters kept us warm at night. The couch was also cozy, perfect for hours of reading and enjoying the solitude. Be cautious with the entrance—it’s a narrow, steep, one-way street. Large cars might get scratched or not fit at all. A small car is ideal, but one with a weak engine may struggle. Once parked, the space is great. Finding the house was tricky, as the GPS didn’t recognize the address, but we discovered two routes to get there. There’s no dryer, so drying clothes on the rack can be challenging, especially in rainy seasons. Bring quick-dry and waterproof clothing. Carlos and Manuela provided a helpful restaurant guide, though many were closed during our visit. We explored local spots and loved the food—Aromas and Sabores in Lajes is a must! If you seek peace and seclusion, this cozy place is perfect. We never met another person during our stay.

One of the nicest, most beautiful properties we have ever stayed in!! Cannot say enough about the views, spotless and very comfortable, with attention to detail and warm greetings from the host, including wine, bread, ham and cheese when we arrived. All so thoughtful, and playing three holes of mini golf was a fun addition. Highly recommend!

Beautiful little holiday cottage in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, very nicely landscaped outdoor area, very clean and cozy accommodation with everything you need. The hosts were very friendly and the check-in/check-out was straightforward. Would definitely come back!

Miguel was a marvelous host he was a helpful guide from everything to check in to our lava tube show-n-tell. We enjoyed talking to him about Pico and travels over wine and cheese. The basket of goodies was so fresh and so amazing to enjoy the beautiful bounty of the land. The animals were truly a treat so well behaved and a great change of pace and beautiful place for my husband and I on our honeymoon. Would recommend to as many people as I can.

It was evident a lot of hard work and care went in to building this place. What a beautiful stay! We were fortunate we had perfect weather to see the mountain in the background. It was a bit intimidating before the hike to the top! However, we made it and had a nice one level place to rest our sore knees and make a delicious meal! A very memorable experience! I hope future guests have the same luck as us.

We were hosted very well by Gonçalo and his wife. The accommodation was very comfortable and pleasant, with views of the sea and Terceira Island. They were very attentive. Thank you again for helping us schedule the whale visit and the ascent of Mount Pico with Mattheo from Fripix. If I can, I'll come back.
