Look forward to a fantastic, unobstructed view of the wide Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of Pico with Portugal's highest mountain "Montanha do Pico", 2,351m. The rooms go up to the roof and convey a great feeling of space. The jewel of the house is the large conservatory, wich is glazed on 3 sides inluding the roof, and which might be better be called a summer garden.

The nine of us felt very comfortable and enjoyed the great view of the sea and the opposite mountain Pico. The location is quiet, a supermarket is a few minutes' walk away. Thank you for the warm welcome and the wonderful time!

Beautiful sea view from the house over to Pico. We liked to be outside town and amongst the local community. There is a convenience shop and a bar close by. We had to walk quite a bit to access other shops so better to have a car as public transport is not very regular. We loved to go swimming in the natural sea water pools about 15/20 minutes walk from the house. And the bed was comfortable!

Davide is probably the best host you could ask for. Easily accessible, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Speaks English very well and can give many recommendations on and around Faial. I was able to check in and out very flexibly and in the end Davide even drove me personally to the airport (incl. Sightseeing tour in the area!), that was really a highlight. The place is easy to reach, well equipped and in a great location. The bathroom is a separate room, but only used by guests, and the actual room is well equipped. I highly recommend the place, but definitely plan a few more days and ask Davide for tips for your stay.

This apartment is so roomy and comfortable! Three couples can easily stay here and have an easy stay. The eat-in kitchen is large and very-well appointed. Enormous windows overlook the town, bay and Pico; they also have lightblocking shades when the sun gets too hot. The walk to town center is close but it is up a hill (that gives you the view!). Maria Teresa is a wonderful host and was very responsive with a last-minute request. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

Great location! Direct views of the ocean and Pico island. Immediately next to a bakery that seems to always be open for every meal. Easy access to shops, restaurants, the ferry. Parking was never an issue. Everything inside the place worked well too. Good AC. Plenty of room for two. Laundry was good. Size of the shower/tub is on the small side, so be careful if you require more space to bath. Host was great, very helpful and even let us check in early and out late. Would stay again!

One of the nicest, most beautiful properties we have ever stayed in!! Cannot say enough about the views, spotless and very comfortable, with attention to detail and warm greetings from the host, including wine, bread, ham and cheese when we arrived. All so thoughtful, and playing three holes of mini golf was a fun addition. Highly recommend!
