Apartment vacation rentals in Faial Island

The modern apartment was very clean and functional. Minimal kitchen equipment but ok. We were on the ground floor and unfortunately had no view of the Pico but it was enough to go into the shared garden to enjoy it. The apartment is rather well located but it takes about twenty minutes on foot to go to the beach. Very good communication with Paul who welcomed us in person:)

Excellent location with very easy access to lots of free parking. The place was clean and organized, everything was easy to find and use. very good restaurants nearby. Not much sound insulation from the unit above, so if they are making noise or talking loudly, it’s very audible. But it didn’t affect me personally since they checked out after the first night. I’d stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great location just steps from the waterfront and the ferry terminal. Lovely apartment with a very comfortable bed, lots of tv stations. Jorge was very attentive and even provided a lunch snack for our arrival. We would highly recommend this property.

The Airbnb is really close to everything important in Horta. You can get to all the interesting spots in the city really fast by foot. We really liked the spot directly in the center of Horta. Dário was really a proactive host and helped us with recommendations for hiking, restaurants and other interesting things. Overall, it was a great stay!

Laura was of extreme kindness and always attentive. We were very welcome. Quiet location, with facilities around. We will be back for sure!

The apartment was very comfortable and clean with amazing views of the harbor and pico. Teresa was the perfect host and made us feel right at home and welcome. Will definitely stay again!

nice spacious apartment. Nice bed. Air conditioners work very well. All the space to park your car. Very clear instructions to get in. Everything was clean and tidy.

Very nice apartment at the center of Madalena with a view of the port. Everything present in the apartment including airco and demoisturing device which is great, the host is super friendly and responsive to requests, the place is very clean and towels are changed regularly! Ideal location for diving in Madelena or boat trips since it is very close by. We stayed with 3 and the place is small but so well organized that it worked well ! I can only recommend.

Lovely apartment, much bigger than we expected. All spotlessly clean and in a great location for all the sites of Horta. Will definitely recommend.

We had a very nice stay at the place. You could sit comfortably at the table, open the sliding windows wide, so you almost sat on the promenade overlooking Pico. Only small point of criticism for people with light sleep: the cars and motorcycles that drive across the cobblestone street in front of the house are very noisy, but not many.

Paulo’s place was very nice. The location was great for what we were looking for. It was clean, spacious and has a beautiful view off the porch. It was a bit warm so sleeping wasn’t as comfortable as expected. There is a an AC wall split unit in the living area which was helpful, however it didn’t reach the bedrooms. I brought my 1.5 yr old daughter and they had a crib there for me which was great. Having laundry available was also helpful. Paulo was responsive when we requested some items and needed help with the AC split unit.

This gorgeous little cottage was a delight and lived up to its name as ‘Cosy Cottage’. The location was excellent and walking distance to the amazing bay front and city center of Horta. The host ensured that all of the smaller details of guest needs were taken care of. The cottage was spotless, safe and delightfully decorated to give guest a warm and homely feeling. Thank you for an amazing stay and congratulations on achieving such a high standard in hosting.

There are three separate apartments in the accommodation house. All are in top condition, with a great view and well equipped. Unfortunately, the kitchen is missing the essentials like oil and spices, which would have been nice. Otherwise, there is little to complain about, especially if you like cats you enjoy the daily visit of the walkers. And of course the hot tub is not to be forgotten as a highlight 👏

1 of 3 units at the property but we never really saw the other people. the view is spectacular. the kitchen was well equipped. 2 VERY friendly cats that we adored hung around. the area is very peaceful. exactly what we were looking for

We had a great stay at the place and that there was the possibility of daily breakfast and a pool is a great plus for an Air BnB! Especially the neighboring village of Lajes has impressed us very much and invites us with its promenade and the many small restaurants, as well as the wonderful view of the Pico!

Really happy with everything and grateful for the flexible check out - definitely recommend!
