It has an excellent view of the Atlantic Ocean and Pico Island Mountain.

About 4 km north from the city of Horta is Almoxarife Beach. In the "a moagem" space, there is life in every corner, in the garden there is a water cistern and a threshing floor. It features traditional architecture, dating back to the beginning of the last century. At the mill, a philosophy based on the traditional and sustainable is practiced. Our restored fisherman’s cottage is located in the heart of Porto Pim, in the desired seaside parish of Horta. From the outside terrace you have a commanding view of the beautiful bay to your left and the bustle of the harbour to your right. The home is perched on the side of of Monte Queimado which forms one of the three natural reserves on Faial island, being part of the marine protected area Baía das Caldeirinhas.
