Apartment vacation rentals in Horta

Excellent location with very easy access to lots of free parking. The place was clean and organized, everything was easy to find and use. very good restaurants nearby. Not much sound insulation from the unit above, so if they are making noise or talking loudly, it’s very audible. But it didn’t affect me personally since they checked out after the first night. I’d stay here again and recommend it to others.

Very nice apartment at the center of Madalena with a view of the port. Everything present in the apartment including airco and demoisturing device which is great, the host is super friendly and responsive to requests, the place is very clean and towels are changed regularly! Ideal location for diving in Madelena or boat trips since it is very close by. We stayed with 3 and the place is small but so well organized that it worked well ! I can only recommend.

Lovely apartment, much bigger than we expected. All spotlessly clean and in a great location for all the sites of Horta. Will definitely recommend.

Beautiful place wish I had the opportunity to stay here more than two nights. The balcony and the views outside are amazing. The seating on the balcony was perfect. Kitchen was excellent. Tub is a little hard to step into if you’re short as it’s on the high side, but everything was clean and as expected. The air conditioning was a plus. Would love to come back and spend a whole summer here. Close to the two restaurants near the natural pools. thank you for allowing us to stay. Will be back.

We stayed in 4 and it was like being at home. The spaces are comfortable and the house is convenient to amenities to visit Horta and the island of Fayal. Edoardo was very helpful even when we had to resolve unexpected issues. Recommended for a stay in Horta.

Great location just steps from the waterfront and the ferry terminal. Lovely apartment with a very comfortable bed, lots of tv stations. Jorge was very attentive and even provided a lunch snack for our arrival. We would highly recommend this property.

A special place, very quiet, clean, excellent for babies and children. We became two families, very spacious, with all the necessary utensils available and a spectacular host, always available to meet us. We feel at home.

Paulo’s place was very nice. The location was great for what we were looking for. It was clean, spacious and has a beautiful view off the porch. It was a bit warm so sleeping wasn’t as comfortable as expected. There is a an AC wall split unit in the living area which was helpful, however it didn’t reach the bedrooms. I brought my 1.5 yr old daughter and they had a crib there for me which was great. Having laundry available was also helpful. Paulo was responsive when we requested some items and needed help with the AC split unit.

One word sums up this listing "PERFECT" . Eunice was a lovely lady, who took time throughout our stay to ensure we were comfortable. She was not intusive, but corresponsed using text to check we were ok. Eunice provided more than she needed to and appeared to 'Go the extra mile' for us. She was a perfrct host. In fact this was the best Air B & B experience I have had. Eunice provided a clean, well furnished and equipped house. She provided extras I was not expecting. She had a lovely son, who stepped in when host was busy, just as a point of contact in case of a problem (there weren't any) It was reassuring to know. Location was quiet, felt safe and welcome. Ana Isabel and Reinaldo's spacious apartment in a lovely farm setting is peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed the views of Pico volcano, the ocean, and the sheep, horse, cows, chickens and adorable potbelly pigs in the yard. The friendly dogs made us feel right at home. The apartment with spacious balcony views was spotless and welcoming with lovely bed linens. We will be back!!

Very good hospitality from Paula and Joao who were accommodating regarding our arrival time and helped us to collect our vehicle. The house is in a good location, accessible by car from the port of Madalena and close to the airport. We had a lovely stay! I would highly recommend it.

Exactly what I needed. Would definately come back. Flat was very good value for money and the area felt safe. Salome was very helpful and kindly gave me a lift to the marina - I had a lot of baggage!

We loved this place - super clean and great location as its walkable to a sand beach and into the town of Horta and 10 min drive to airport! Rosa and Alexandra were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here!

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the accommodation looked exactly like the photos, if not better. Agostinha Maria was a truly exceptional host—kind, generous, and attentive. She welcomed us with everything we could possibly need for breakfast: fresh eggs, bread, jam, butter, fruit, cheese, coffee, and even two bottles of wine as a delightful bonus. Her thoughtful hospitality made us feel right at home. She also shared fantastic local dining recommendations and gave us access to a fully equipped summer kitchen, which added to the charm of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed getaway. This little apartment was a cute clean place to stay. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of fans as sometimes the islands get warm. The kitchen was fully stocked. We felt right at home. I stayed with my husband and son and my mom and dad also stayed in another room. My dad is hard to please and he said these people have a nice thing going on here. I recommend this place to everyone.

This gorgeous little cottage was a delight and lived up to its name as ‘Cosy Cottage’. The location was excellent and walking distance to the amazing bay front and city center of Horta. The host ensured that all of the smaller details of guest needs were taken care of. The cottage was spotless, safe and delightfully decorated to give guest a warm and homely feeling.
