Villa vacation rentals in Azores

We had a wonderful stay here and our host was so kind. It was the perfect size for two couples.

Roberto's apartment was amazing, very large and spacious, and the courtyard was also very large and private. We especially liked the large kitchen that was equipped with everything you need for cooking. Roberto responded super quickly to any questions. There was a large parking lot about 100 meters from the house where you could park. The area was quiet and the apartment is right next to one of the beautiful traditional churches. When checking in, we had no problems, only the lock on the door was a little hard to get, but with a little force and shaking it worked. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the apartment ☺️

I am very picky and can say Max and Maria’s home was great! We were 3 couples with 3 young men (18 and 20 years old). The house has a great terrace where a morning coffee felt extra special. The kitchen was well stocked. Also were the bathroom and laundry. Has a pizzeria, a restaurant and a supermarket at walking distance. We had 3 cars and we had enough space to park them inside their driveway. All of us enjoyed our stay and everyone loved our stay. Max and Maria were great.

João's place was a great home base for our Azores adventure. It's a nice central location on the island, and a beautiful house and area. The whole place was spotless and the kitchen was great for making breakfast and coffee. There is a small grocery store within walking distance, but otherwise a car is required for the area so thankfully parking was very easy. Highly recommended!

We spent a month at Casa Sol Nascente with our little dog. The spaces are very large and there is everything you need. We particularly enjoyed the ocean view from the garden and the windows of the house. We really liked the location because it was far from the town and very quiet, with very little noise and disturbance. However, it could be a problem without a car.

It was evident a lot of hard work and care went in to building this place. What a beautiful stay! We were fortunate we had perfect weather to see the mountain in the background. It was a bit intimidating before the hike to the top! However, we made it and had a nice one level place to rest our sore knees and make a delicious meal! A very memorable experience! I hope future guests have the same luck as us.

Very spacious villa with stunning ocean views, we had a great vacation for 6, the beds are very comfortable, we'll be back with pleasure. For those who are sensitive to daylight, don't forget to bring a night mask because for now the curtains are not very blackout. Thanks to Mauro and Ana for the accommodation and communication during the stay.

After spending eight days on Sao Miguel we had a good opportunity to compare localities. Our preference is for somewhere quiet and this fit perfectly. We could drive to places within 20 minutes for coffee and meals. My wife’s parents and brother immigrated from Porto Formoso and she was delighted to be close to their origins. The home is beautiful and comfortable. We arrived at the end of March/early April and were happy to have the fireplace to take the chill off the evenings. The stovetop was a bit of a mystery but, with help from YouTube, we managed to enjoy several cups of local tea. I would love to visit again and if I do this will be my number one choice for a place to “call home”.

A perfect space for two couples to enjoy a comfortable space and a good central location on the island to experience and explore. We enjoyed relaxed evenings in the hot tub! Joao was a lovely and responsive host and went the extra mile for us to be comfortable.

Traveling as a family of 5 and our stay could not have been more perfect! Definitely one of our favorite Airbnbs. We loved the location, felt safe, private yet easily accessible to everything- perfect spot on the island to explore- rental car a must. Lagoa is a cute little town with great nearby restaurants and cafes. The beds were very comfortable, spacious layout, great washer/ dryer and we felt like we were staying in a mini castle! It’s hard to describe the beauty of the views from the terraces but drinking tea in the morning and sitting outside was the best way to start each day and a feeling I hope stays with me. Maria left delicious treats that were very much appreciated on arrival. We will think back fondly on our trip to Sao Miguel and are grateful we had the opportunity to stay here! We will never forget it and hope to return one day!

If I could give six stars I would. Here's why: The house is modern, airy, well-appointed, bright and stylishly decorated. All fixtures functioned flawlessly and we never wanted for appliances, supplies or a utensil. The floor to ceiling windows of the main floor offered all-day views of the stunning ocean and countryside. The location can't be beat, with easy walking to the swimming pools, markets, and the numerous excellent restaurants in town. Despite its centrality, it felt private, safe, and peaceful. Plus, being central on the island, no attraction was ever far away. But the most appealing part of the experience was the graciousness of our host Pedro. Always ready with an answer, suggestion, and willing to help with whatever was asked. He communicated quickly and kindly, and as we sensed from pretty much all of the native Azoreans we met, truly loved Sao Miguel and wanted to share it with us. Could not ask for a better experience. Look forward to coming back!

Excellent house for our extended family group of 8. The pool is not heated so it’s a bit cold, but the backyard is very peaceful and the house is well equipped and a great home base to explore the island. It’s right outside Ponta Delgada and easy to pop into town. Highly recommend.

Great location and a beautiful home. It did have more stairs than we anticipated but was not an issue as two bedrooms are on the entry floor and other three on a level down. Living, dining and kitchen are on the lower third level. The pool did need to be cleaned. The Polaris stopped working before it cleaned the pool but was not of consequence since the weather was still too cool really for swimming. Be aware the hot tub is an inflatable and you’d really only have space for two but it’s on a great deck with nice view to the ocean. There were no restaurants really in walking distance but they are a short drive away and there are many great ones down by the water with beautiful settings. It was very nice to have clothes detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry area. We really appreciated that.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our party. We are two families traveling together with 3 children (age 6-9). The inside bedrooms were enough for us to spread out and the outside space is unbearable. The pool, stone arches, green space and rooftop deck were great spaces for morning reading for adults and afternoon playing for the kids. The back patio was great for playing cards and outside dinner. We had two questions while visiting and Francisco was quick to respond and so polite. We would 100% recommend this air bnb to anyone! The location of the place is great, close to the airport and centrally located to reach all corners of the island quickly. We arrived in the middle of the night and were still welcomed in person. The highlight of the place is the view of the sea from the bedroom, but the rest of the place is also very nice and cozy.

We had a great stay at this modern Airbnb in São Miguel. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Margarida was a fantastic host, warm, responsive and accommodating. The property was spotless, well maintained and perfectly located for exploring. One of the highlights was the outdoor space, with a pool and a great area for cooking and dining alfresco. It was a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Our host also left us a thoughtful note with a bottle of wine, fresh fruit,local bread and coffee and tea. Such a kind touch. . We also really appreciated the complementary midweek cleaning, which kept everything fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. The house was well stocked with linens and all the kitchen essentials we needed. The location was ideal. Peaceful and private yet within easy reach of the island highlights. After exploring it was nice to come back to a home that included off street parking. We can't recommend this place enough!

This home was absolutely immaculate—each room was beautifully appointed and impeccably clean. The outdoor area, including the pool, was equally impressive and provided a perfect setting for relaxation. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The host went above and beyond by providing a few thoughtful essentials such as butter, cheese, bread, and milk—an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture. Instructions for the property were clear, and communication was prompt and helpful throughout. Set in a beautifully historic area, this modern accommodation offered both comfort and charm. Great accomodation on the north side of the S. Miguel. Susana an Jorge are very kind and welcoming hosts with a lot of tips and ideas for activities. However be warn. The neighborhood's animals can get quite noisy during the night. :D Nothing disturbing tho, just funny. :D

I had a great time with my friends and we all had beds to sleep in. Great entertainment space and very cool overall villa design. Definitely added to the experience. Thank you!
