Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hjelmeland Municipality

Hi all, the house is a little bit old, but absolutely CHARMING and we missed nothing! :) There is a great terrasse with a wonderful view, even when it is raining you can sit outside in a very cosy corner. Even if we stayed in July and there are around 50 mobile homes around you, it was veeery silent and the children could use the great common pool often on their own. ;-) We also liked the play barn (with table tennis, billards, dart board, etc. (but the dart board should be replaced, because it is really old and not in a good state - suggestion: replace the board, buy new darts and put a carpet on the ground to protect the darts... ;-))! We really can recommend to stay in the house of Hege! :) Cheers, Michael and family

Rigtig fin hytte med perfekt ugeneret beliggenhed. Passende størrelse til familie på seks personer eller to par, og mulighed for at medbringe hund. Skønt område med rig mulighed for fiskeri og vandring, eller en afslappet eftermiddag på terrassen med næsten igen støj fra trafik eller naboer. Hytten er større og mere rumlig end man kan se på billederne, bl.a. to soverum på første sal. Udstyret med alt service og stor grill. Perfekt kommunikation med Ann Kristin - tudsinde tak for en perfekt ferie!

Wir hatten einen tollen Winterurlaub in einem sehr schönen Haus, die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer ist toll. Das Haus hat eine tolle Ausstattung, in der Küche fehlte nichts. Wir haben den Kamin im Wohnzimmer genutzt und den Grillplatz mit der Feuerstelle draußen und hatten eine schöne Zeit. Weronika hat sich zwischendurch immer mal gemeldet. Vielen Dank

Veronica's house looks just like the photos - it is modern and fantastically equipped with everything you could possibly want in a home away from home. She is incredibly organized, with a binder on arrival with all the information you need to settle right in. The internet is fast, and the view beautiful with lots of walking paths nearby. There was unfortunately some confusion associated with our stay which resulted in a bit of negativity after check-out. My bad: there are usually 2 of us on our sampling trips, which is what I booked for, but we got lucky at the last minute and found out a third person would be able to help as well, after the booking was paid for. When we arrived one bed was already made up beautifully, but we needed two more. The binder said there were sheets under the beds, so my coworkers just made up their own beds as you often have to at Airbnb's and we thought no more of it. After check-out, while i was on the 6 hour drive back home, Veronica wrote me and asked why we used the linens appropriate for 5-6 persons. When I got home and checked my messages, I explained what happened and that it was a work trip so we each needed our own beds, and offered to pay the difference for the third person. For that I got a rather grumpy response and was informed that I had been reported to Airbnb. So, while I recognize we are not without fault in the exchange, the negative response felt a little OTT.

Stig und Kirsti haben uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und waren sehr flexibel bezüglich dem Check-in. Die Lage des Hauses ist super, nette und ruhige Nachbarschaft. Die Aussicht ist einzigartig, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Die Ausstattung im Haus ist völlig ausreichend. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt!

Sehr schönes heimeliges Haus, in dem man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Blick auf den Fjord ist toll. Sehr nette Gastgeberin, die uns mit eigenem Apfelsaft und Äpfeln versorgt hat.

Wir hatten einen wahnsinnig schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus von Linda. Alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Man kann gemütliche Abende auf dem Sofa verbringen. Die Küche ist so ausgestattet, dass man nach Herzenslust backen und kochen kann. Unser absolutes Highlight war das Fischen im Fjord. Das zum Haus dazugehörige Boot ist einfach zu bedienen und perfekt für Angel-Ausflüge. Linda ist äußerst freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Am liebsten wären wir gar nicht weg gefahren. Wir würden uns sehr freuen, noch mal wiederkehren zu können.

Wir hatten einen herrlichen Urlaub - bei tollen Gastgebern! Elisabeth und Sigbjørn sind wirklich super nett😍 die Kommunikation war ausgezeichnet. Hier wohnten wir in einem sehr gemütlichen, sehr gepflegten Haus in traumhafter Umgebung, direkt am Fjord. Das Haus ist komfortabel eingerichtet und alles ist in top Qualität vorhanden. Vom Wohnzimmer hat man direkt von der Couch zu jeder Tageszeit durch die riesigen Fenster einen einmaligen, stimmungsvollen Blick aufs Wasser. Das Grundstück ist mit mehreren Holzterrassen und Steinumrandungen sehr liebevoll und hochwertig angelegt! Es gibt viele gemütliche Sitzgruppen, alle mit heimeliger Beleuchtung😍 Ein Boot kann dazu gemietet werden, das direkt unten am Steg anliegt. Man fängt hier u.a. schöne Makrelen. Wir hatten tolle Wanderungen in der Umgebung, so z.B. um Jelsa und den Økstrafjorden sowie den Erøy-Rundweg und die Blåsjøn-Talsperre. En perle av en bolig som både hadde god plass og gode fasiliteter. Vakre omgivelser og meget tiltalende uteområde. Hyggelig vert som responderte kjapt på forespørsel. Vi kommer svært gjerne igjen.

We stayed with Valborg for nine days and made her Airbnb the home base for our hikes with the kids in the area. For this the apparment worked great and we got some recommendations regarding areas to explore nearby. The description for this quite appartment was just on point and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Rommet var nyoppusset, ryddig og renslig. Kjøleskap, vannkoker, glass og kopper gjorde oppholdet enkelt. Flott utsikt ut over fjorden! Anbefales😊

Very nice place, well marked hiking trails with nice views and almost no tourists. Our children enjoyed the surroundings of the house very much. Olav was very friendly, and nothing was problem.

We had an excellent stay at this modern 2-bedroom apartment in Stavanger! The apartment was exactly as described, with all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, the living space was spacious and stylish, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I appreciated the attention to detail with everything from the decor to the cleanliness. It was nice to have a full-length mirror, plenty of towels, and a fast Wi-Fi connection. The location was also perfect—close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. I didn't need to contact the host during my stay, as everything was in perfect condition and as expected. The check-in process was smooth, and the apartment felt like a true home away from home. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxing and convenient stay in Stavanger!

Nach einem herzlichen persönlichen Empfang hat man uns in ein Apartment gebracht, aus dem wir gar nicht mehr raus wollten. Die Aussicht ist unglaublich toll, beim Abendessen haben wir auf den Sonnenuntergang am Meer geblickt. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern und großzügig geschnitten. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht hier, träumen aber schon jetzt davon, für länger zurück zu kommen. Ganz klare Empfehlung!
