You just need to walk straight out the front door to start directly into marked hiking trails. The park chair is located about 15 minutes drive away. Jørpeland Sentrum is about 10 minutes drive away.

Right by Jøsenfjorden you will find this nice location with a lovely view over the fjord . Short distance to Preikestolen by Lysefjorden, Trolltunga, Skomakernibba and Trodla-tysdal all of which are absolutely worth a visit. Feel free to take day trips to Stavanger and the family park Kongeparken or drives on national tourist roads in beautiful surroundings. Røldal is 2 hours drive away and 45min to Gullingen Skisenter. Den har klimaanlegg, Queen-size seng, komfortable stoler og kjøkkenkrok. I nærområdet er det mange flotte turstier, og mulighet til å kjøpe lokale produkter rett fra bonden. Idyllic house by the lake close to Preikestolen.

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

Recharge at this unique and tranquil place to stay. Here you can really enjoy life with proximity to hiking areas that are the gateway to Ryfylkeheiane such as Skomakernibboat and Vigatunet and several other famous places, you can also get to the Pulpit Rock if you have a car. Here you can enjoy life on the pier edge and a sea bath if it can tempt. Here you can also cook your own food if you don't want to enjoy a better meal at the local restaurant that is the taste of Ryfylke.

Cozy farmingcabin in the heart of Ryfylke

The house is located in Ryfylke, where nature shows itself from its best side. From the farm, where the house is located, there is a alot to do. Mountain hikes, rivers, sea and fishing. There are also 60 wild sheep living on the farm. A 9-hole disc golf course has been established on the farm. See «Hyllehaugen disk golf» on the app «Udisc». We have disks for rent. Distance to the Pulpit Rock is 1.5 hours. Other recommended trips are "Skomakernibbå", "Røssenibben" or Blåsjø.

A few minutes walk you will find our private beach where you can take a bath or relax with lovely views of the fjord. Cabin in Ryfylke with a lovely view of the fjord and boat place. One hour from Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock). Perfect for a weekend trip, just an hour from Stavanger center. Nice nature nearby and good hiking opportunities for those who want it. Possibilities for barbecue and swimming with the sea, as the sea is only a small walk from the cabin. By the sea there are both diving boards and bathing raft.
