House vacation rentals in Historic District, Wilmington

We come to wrightsville beach several times per year and we will be back to this home. It had a great layout got a large family. We came with our 2 sons and our 4 grand children and never felt cramped. It's a home we will frequent while in wrightsville.

A great place by the beach. Phenomenal view of the ocean with easy access to the beach. The descriptions matched perfectly. Place was spotless clean and contained all necessary amenities. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Loved our stay and our toddler enjoyed being in the pool. Great outdoor locations and amenities. Friendly and helpful host. Looking forward to stay in future.

We really enjoyed staying here. The pool was great. The house is within minutes from several restaurants and just a 15 minute drive to the beach. The house is as described and shown in photos. Gennaro was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Thanks for having us!

We had a wonderful weekend stay with family at this beautiful home. We loved spending time at the beach and then coming home relaxing by the pool. Having pool towels provided was a great bonus! Alex and Lexi were very responsive and reassuring when we reached out about a few cleaning issues we noticed. Overall, it was a great experience — highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway with a pool!

My stay was absolutely amazing! The host was incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming she made sure everything was perfect from the moment I arrived. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. You can tell she really cares about her guests and puts a lot of love into her hosting. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. Our stay was a very enjoyable experience, from all of the extra amenities that were available to us to enjoy (our young adult kiddos loved the bikes!!!), to the all over cleanliness of the house. The proximity between the beach and downtown was perfect for us and I loved the creative touches of the decor throughout.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The area is quiet and only minutes away from everything.

Everything went smoothly from the check in to check out process. Close to downtown just like we needed!

The place is very clean and as described. Amenities are good and supplies are orderly. Communication was clear and timely. Location is walkable to many things downtown and a great sandwich shop around the corner. Overall a very good experience. Only nitpick is that the front bedroom is not very private as it opens directly onto the living room. It wasn’t a problem for our group but FYI.

Such a beautiful home and area! Would love to visit again.

Our family enjoyed a relaxing stay at Dean’s Wilmington Staycation. Dean is an excellent communicator and was extremely responsive from the moment that we booked the reservation. The home is exactly as the photos and our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) thoroughly enjoyed the home w/ added amenities such as record player, board games, and chairs for our beach trip. We would definitely recommend this rental for a work or leisure trip.

We really enjoyed our time at Mary’s place. It’s tastefully decorated and well equipped. The design of the space has obviously been well thought out. One of the best AirBnB’s we’ve stayed in! The neighborhood is convenient to downtown Wilmington and the Riverwalk — a perfect location for exploring Wilmington and surrounding beaches. The historic neighborhood is definitely in transition, but we felt safe there, walking our dog and heading to the local park on foot.

Quite literally there is Nun Better place to stay in Wilmington if you are a couple who wants to bring their doggo along for a fun little getaway. Our stay was perfect! Monica was an amazing host and made us feel right at home with a lovely welcome basket, dog treats, and more. The neighborhood is lovely to stroll and being walking distance to amazing coffee shops and dinner is a huge perk. Anything you could want is at the house, including beach towels and chairs, as well as all the kitchen supplies (and Tupperware containers! Literally always wishing airbnbs had that). Loved that Phoebe had a large yard to play in while we sat on the porch. I’m already excited to go back, could not recommend it enough!!

My husband and I, along with our adult son, really enjoyed our stay! JoAnn’s place was so beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had anything you might need for a long weekend, and the luxury bathrooms brought such a nice feeling. Thank you for sharing your place and being a great host! Parking is more difficult than stated and there is an outdoor video monitoring system.

This was an absolutely lovely stay. The property is immaculate and extremely charming. The kitchen is newly renovated and has everything you could need to make a nice meal. . The beds are beyond comfortable. Chad is an incredible host. We loved coming home to snacks and coffee. Wilmington is a lovey very walkable town with many restaurants and shops. We will be coming back soon as the purpose of this trip was to help our daughter prepare for the arrival of our first grandchild. We hope to be able to book Chad's place again.

Shellreef’s place was perfect for my family of 4. His place was extremely clean and the communication was top notch. I would highly recommend his place to anyone looking for a great stay near River Walk. I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

I had a great, though brief, stay at this home. It was comfortable, well-supplied, in a fantastic neighborhood. Walkable to Riverwalk, friendly neighborhood, the letter carrier even stopped to give my dogs a treat. Great vibe. The house was really comfortable, and check-out was easy. I would love to return.

They were wonderful hosts, super clean & comfortable! A mile from downtown so best to bike in the heat but overall great stay!

This was a great place to stay. The host is responsive and accommodating. The place is clean and well laid out. The kitchen had the basics that we needed. The beds were comfortable and the linens were of very high quality. The place isn't super big but was plenty of room for us (family of 4) for a vacation. The location is great. It's walkable to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood. It definitely deserves the 5 star overall rating, and we might want to stay there again. Some minor cons if you're trying to decide between multiple really good listings: The driveway is tight. Honda CRV just barely fits. The back yard isn't as nice as the rest of the listing, it's just rocky and weedy. One of the neighbors is a jerk. We are a quiet and respectful family and we have never run afoul of a neighbor before. I don't have space to explain fully. He doesn't seem to be able to make any real trouble, just something to be aware of. Everyone else we saw was super friendly.

Matt and Erica’s home was beautiful and extremely clean! They were very communicative and very responsive during our stay. Bed was comfy and clean.

Loved staying here. Was in a great location and very central to everywhere I wanted to go in Wilmington.
