Vacation rentals with breakfast in Historic District, Wilmington

My husband and I spent 5 nights in Jeanette’s home last week, and we already cannot wait to return. The location is unbeatable (truly just steps to the beach—with a private walkway!)—and nothing can beat waking up to the oceanfront view or falling asleep to the sound of the waves. So peaceful. The home was exactly as described in the listing and was very clean. We rented the oceanfront king suite; the shared bathroom, porch, and living spaces were not an issue, and the other guests were lovely. We opted for the breakfast package and cannot recommend it enough! The food was wonderful, and we loved eating breakfast on the beautiful porch. It was a true B&B! Jeanette is a phenomenal host. She is incredibly kind and thoughtful and goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome. She greeted us with cocktails when we arrived and walked us through the house and amenities (she provides beach chairs and umbrellas which is a huge plus). And Malina was also a highlight of our week! :)

Gregory is every bit as sweet and hospitable as the other reviews say. He loves his city and genuinely wants his guests to have a good time. He picked me up from/dropped me off at the airport. I told him I wanted to go thrifting and he drove me to a couple of the best spots in town and he even drove me to my friend's wedding! When I mentioned I'm vegan, he got soy milk for my coffee in the morning. Truly just such a kind, thoughtful soul. The house is a quick walk to historic downtown. It felt so cozy there and I loved having my own bathroom! Will without a doubt stay at Gregory's if I'm ever in Wilmington again <3

Jeanette is a very warm and kind hostess. She is available if you need something but also leaves you free to explore on your own. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with her and would recommend her to anyone!

We had a great stay at Demetria’s home. We so appreciated the amount of space we had to spread out, especially since my husband was doing a writing retreat. Plenty of room for our adult kids to join us, to set up a puzzle, cook and eat in some nights, and everyone having their own space when needed. It was a great jumping off point for everything Wilmington has to offer — shops downtown, Carolina Beach, Cape Fear Museum and Bellamy museum, and of course our favs coffee shops (one within walking distance) and Boba. Also enjoyed the art on the walls and the antique furniture pieces that gave it a cozy feel. I appreciated Demetria’s quick responses with a few questions even though she was traveling in Europe. Would definitely here stay again!

Loved the house. Furniture was wonderful. Hot tub 10/10. Allowed early check in! We were unable to get the pinball machine to turn on but we had fun with all the others. Home was slightly warm and thermostat a little confusing to the use. The house was very private with a large private driveway. Lots of dishes and cooking ware provided. Hosts very responsive and friendly. Overall wonderful stay, would come back!

Michael & Jesslyn were wonderful hosts. Jesslyn, our primary point of contact, was especially responsive and proactive in sharing information throughout our stay, including during check-in and check-out. The location was perfect—we were within easy walking distance to Carolina Beach and the boardwalk. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and it was even ready for an early check-in on the same day we booked, which was a huge help due to our last-minute change in plans.

The pictures don’t do the home justice. It was so clean and new—very close to Wrightsville Beach and the Mayfaire shopping center. Not to mention, Brandon was very responsive and gave clear instructions. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice stay in Wilmington.

I have rented with the hosts at another one of their locations and was genuinely looking forward to a little vacation. When I walked in, I genuinely started crying. Everything. Was. STOOOOOONING. The decorations, amenities, and extra supplies made it so that I didn’t need to leave at all. I stayed locked away for my stay and enjoyed every single second of my trip. I have already discussed with my womb mates and we are booking a girls trip for them to be able to experience how amazing the stay was too.

This was a wonderful weekend getaway! First time staying at a B&B and what a great experience it was! Right in the heart of the historical district of Wilmington. Lots to do downtown by the river walk and an easy and short walk as well. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Wow! Where do I start…this place is amazing! First off, the pictures on here do not do it justice! I would recommend searching it on google. This b&b is extremely beautiful and right out of a movie! The room and location were perfection. However, what really stood out was the service. You will be greeted by Eppy, who will welcome you and collect any details regarding your arrival! Upon arriving, we met Angie! She is an angel! She makes you feel right at home, so warm and welcoming! The previous review about never being hungry is TRUE!! She makes a killer breakfast!! Not exaggerating whatsoever!! I could honestly keep writing about our incredible experience, fortunately there’s limited characters. If you are looking for a beautiful, magical & wonderful place to stay in Wilmington, do not look any further! You will not find anything that comes close to Angie’s!! Angie & Eppy are so special. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for making our trip so lovely!

Phoebe is a wonderful host! She goes out of her way to make you feel right at home and to make sure you have everything you need during your stay. Her home is lovely and as neat as a pin. Her breakfasts were delicious, and she was very flexible with serving us at times that worked for our schedule.

A weekend getaway at Jeanette’s beach home is exactly what we needed! We loved the location- right on the beach and reasonable walking distance to the boardwalk with shops & restaurants. We utilized Jeanette’s beach towels, chairs and umbrella- it was a perfect day on the beach! Morning walks on the beach, evening walks on the beach to have dinner on the boardwalk & relaxing on Jeanette’s large deck at night listening to the ocean waves were amazing. Her added touches of morning & midnight snacks are a nice added touch..Thank you, Jeanette!

We had an amazing stay! Very friendly hosts, clean space, within walking distance to the river walk, and restaurants. They added so many little touches making the space feel homey and made us feel very welcomed. They also served breakfast every morning which was so yummy!! Definitely recommend staying here!!

Wow! Absolutely the best accommodations and a host that is extremely communicative, helpful and considerate. Margaritte went above and beyond to make our vacation experience top notch. The Kate Suite is just the perfect space for two and the house is located very conveniently to the restaurants and shops of historic Wilmington. Beautiful location and fabulous experience! 10/10

Phenomenal stay at one of the best BnB’s in all of Wilmington. An absolute must if you’re in the area. Exceptionally walkable, private, and well-taken care of. Great value!

What a wonderful place! The room was immaculate and the house itself is warm and inviting. Just blocks away from the river front, this home is in the best location. Oh, and the breakfasts!!!!
