cosy little house, nice view, well equipped and easy access

Fantastic cabin located in a very peaceful setting in the forest, but with a close commute to nearby farms and Vinstra. The place has everything you might need, including a very nice fireplace. The cabin is very lovely.

Marius and Sindre are perfect and helpful hosts. We have absolutely loved staying at their place and would love to return another time.

Henning is a very nice host. We felt very comfortable. Anyone who reads the listing carefully will not be disappointed. For me, at a height of 191 cm, the doors were already very small. I hit my head hard twice. After that, I knew the height. Gala is a dream for cross-country skiing. If you like something special, Henning's house is just right.

We had a great stay in the house. we 4 families went there along with children and everyone liked the house a lot. the house has everything we needed.. beautiful surroundings and view. we would love to come back again. the host is always available to respond. finally, both adults and children liked the self service shop, where we got fresh eggs, apple juice, ice creams, etc. Thanks for hosting us.

Great place, quiet and peaceful. The apartment has everything you need, including wood burning that I think is extra cozy. Love that there is a separate terrace and a small garden spot that is additionally fenced - perfect for the dog! Recommended to stay here, especially for those who love nature :)

Ellen was very responsive and helpful. In fact she replied immediately to any requests and questions. Her cabin was welcoming, homely and spotlessly clean. She had added lots of thoughtful touches candles were already in the holders, the fire pit already had logs in it, there were games both inside and outside and throws to keep us cosy! The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The garden leading into the woods was absolutely beautiful and a real treat with seating in lots of areas. The view of the lake was breathtaking even in the fog and low cloud! In the garden we spotted lots of wildlife including a nuthatch on the bird table and a woodpecker in a nearby tree. Close to Oslo but we preferred to explore Hamar and Lillehamar. Highly recommended and we would love to return. Our only regret is the cabin is too far from our home to use regularly. Peaceful, welcoming, tranquil and comfortable! A perfect cabin retreat!

The house is absolutely wonderful and cozy - it feelt like my second home! Rune is incredibly attentive and always ready to help with whatever I need. There were clear instructions and helpful tips available for trips around. Plus, we had lovely conversations even when I didn’t have any questions. Thank you so much for a truly fantastic stay!

Its very calm, relaxing place to stay and i really love the mix of traditional and modern designs in the house. The terrace facing the horses is what our family loves to looked at in the morning. Nina was also very helpful and responsive whenever i have questions on the house. Highly recommended for anyone to stay.

Very nice and idyllic place, great house with plenty of space for our family of five. A nice host who had warmed up the house and lit in the fireplace until we arrived in the evening. It was an extra cozy start to a nice stay for us. Definitely recommend :-)

I highly recommend Hege and the place. I wanted to spend four weeks alone in Norwegian nature. Time for me and to go cross-country skiing every day. The house and its location contributed to the tranquility and nature. The weather provided for the magical winter. Hege was always quick to answer questions and lent me her food processor for the four weeks. So I could even bake my own bread. I absolutely loved my stay here. It is a beautiful, tidy, clean and cosy house in a quiet area away from the main road. With beautiful views of Lillehammer as a backdrop and yet just a 10 minute drive away, it was perfect for me. I couldn't have found a better, more suitable place for me to relax as well as come home to after activities in the area. Bente and Bjarne were lovely hosts. Being neighbours, it was easy to ask questions, which they were happy to answer. I have loved our conversations and am already looking forward to coming back someday for another visit!

Absolutely fabulous stay for our family of four. We loved the quiet location and proximity to the ski slopes (Norefjell). The place was warm and cosy and had everything we needed. The Kiri supermarket was close and was reasonably priced. The day we didn’t ski we spent around and about the lake which was a lovely and interesting walk. Would loved to have seen this beautiful place in the snow! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

Many thanks for the welcome. It is an ideal location and house for the five fishermen we were. It is so authentic with all the modern equipments we needed ... We also enjoyed the beautiful sauna. The only improvement could be to add a bit more firewood. For a tourist like us , it is not so obvious to find some firewood to buy. Anyway, definitely a good place to come back.

We had a great stay. The apartment offers plenty of space, a well-equipped kitchen and a great view. Lise was always available and quickly helped us. The cross-country ski trails are within walking distance. Everything was great for us. We would definitely come back.
