Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Hardanger

Wir hatten mit unseren beiden Hunden einen wunderschönen Sommer in Torstein und Elisabeths Haus. Wer die Ruhe und die Natur mag ist hier genau richtig. Man ist ganz für sich alleine, kann direkt vom Haus aus loswandern und Abends auf der Terrasse den schönen Blick genießen. Torstein war ein toller Gastgeber, immer erreichbar und er hat uns mit sehenswerten Tipps versorgt.

Snille folk, veldig hyggelig kommunikasjon, vi fant alt vi trengte i leiligheten. Rolig område. Kort vei til skisenter.

Ho soggiornato una notte con mia moglie e mio figlio di 11 anni nella casa di Gry. Casa molto bella e molto grande...un po' freddina all'arrivo ma il piano terra con soggiorno e cucina si è scaldato subito con le stufe a legna. Le camere da letto al piano sopra erano un po' freschine ma con le coperte fornite non abbiamo avuto problemi a dormire. Gry è sempre stata molto gentile e ci avrebbe permesso, in caso di bisogno, di rimanere anche oltre l'orario di checkout... Purtroppo non siamo riusciti a sfruttare la possibilità di fare un giretto in barca sul fiume causa brutto tempo. Consigliato!! Grazie Gry, da Giacomo, Alessia e Marco.

Det er som balsam for sjelen å besøke Tinghuset i Dimmelsvik. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake:)

Ein schönes und gemütliches Haus mit einer super Ausstattung. Ganz besonders das Klavier und der Kicker-Tisch. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Es ist sehr ruhig und trotzdem kommt man mit der Tram Linie 1 gut in die Stadt oder zum Flughafen ohne Umsteigen zu müssen. Fußläufig ist ein Supermarkt erreichbar. Das Haus ist gut für Familien geeignet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans la maison d'Arve ! La maison est spacieuse, calme et confortable, l'environnement est magnifique. N'hésitez pas à prendre le ferry pour vous rendre à Bergen, c'est plus simple qu'en voiture !

A few weeks later and we are still dreaming about this place. The home itself is so idyllic and traditional, we felt so lucky to stay here. Sandvikstorget is so peaceful and quiet and if you stay here then it’s easy to strike a balance between hygge and the bustling city atmosphere. Strolling around this area we saw an abundance of beautiful architecture and nearby was Falske Reker wine bar which is perfect for watching the sunset plus the amazing Bakeri 29 for breakfast / lunch. The house was spotless and although it was small, every inch of space has been used efficiently which made it feel more spacious and cosy. We particularly loved the bathroom layout. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to make a home-cooked meal and the supermarket around the corner was so useful. We truly cannot fault this place and have recommended it to all of our friends. We can only hope you return again in the future!

Alles prima für diejenigen, die es auch mal einsam mögen! Nützlich zu wissen mit kleinen Kindern ist, dass das Haus drei Etagen hat, die durch sehr steile Leitern verbunden sind. Für uns war es kein Problem.

A very clean and comfortable apartment with easy walking distance to the ski bus stop for skiing, the train station, and the centre of town. The free access to the hotel swimming pool, hot tub and sauna was a real treat. I’d thoroughly recommend Line’s apartment.

Vi har hatt et fantastisk opphold! ·      Den storslåtte utsikten over fjorden og Sandholmane var en fryd å våkne opp til hver dag. Huset ligger idyllisk til i et uforstyrret hjørne av en stor park, noe som virkelig bidro til en rolig og avslappende atmosfære. ·      Leiligheten var både romslig og ren, med et interiør som forteller en spennende historie. Vi satte stor pris på hvor godt utstyrt alt var, noe som gjorde oppholdet vårt enda mer komfortabelt. ·      For de som verdsetter en god natts søvn, er dette stedet en sann oase. Sengene er komfortable, kombinert med den fredelige beliggenheten, omgitt av natur, skaper det perfekte forhold for en dyp og uforstyrret søvn. Ingen støy fra trafikk eller byens lyder, bare den rolige susing fra naturen rundt. ·      Svømmebassenget og badstuen med utsikt var høydepunkter for oss. Det var en glede å kunne slappe av og nyte disse fasilitetene i slike vakre omgivelser. Som alle skjønner, de besta anbefalinger – et helt spesielt sted!

Fantastisk flott leilighet! Så rent og fint og veldig koselig leilighet i nærheten av gode restauranter og butikker. Super hyggelig og utrolig kommunikasjon med verten både før, under og etter oppholdet. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake 😊😊😊 Vi stortrivdes!

Très bien placé pour du ski de fond sur Hovden. Emplacement central, proche de la rivière, des commerces et des restaurants.

Excellent apartment in Highland Lodge with great hosts too. We really like the the private feeling at the top floor and the amazing view of the valley and mountains. The kitchen is super well equipped and comfortable furniture in the entire apartment (they even have a baby crib and Trip Trap chair for toddlers). Monica is also a great host making you feel very welcome. Can highly recommend staying with her.

Good place to stay, felt like home

Vi hadde en kjempefin tur til hytta til Knut Erling og utsikten til Gaustatoppen var fantastisk. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Vår familie på to voksne og to barn tilbrakte 3 netter på hytten til Christian i starten på vinterferien. Ingenting å utsette på verken hytte eller omgivelsene! Flott innredet hytte som hadde alt vi trengte og mere til. Fantastisk å kunne spenne på seg langrennskiene rett utenfor døren, traske over tunet også var vi rett i lysløypene. Jacuzzien var også et stort pluss, som vi benyttet oss av hver kveld. Christian var vennlig og rask til å svare når vi lurte på noe. Anbefaler overnattingsstedet på det varmeste!

Koselig, liten hytte med fantastisk utsikt. Ikke langt å gå til hovedhuset hvor vi hadde alle nødvendige fasiliteter. På tross av at hovedhuset var ganske tett på, fikk vi en følelse av å være helt alene i hytta. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake☺️

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

Christen met me near Bryggen and pointed out all the eateries and the French bakery along the route. During checkin he provided thorough and helpful about the apt plus a look at a detailed guidebook he designed for area activities, entertainment and dining. Best yet is Jorunn’s lovely apt thoughtfully and tastefully decorated in a 40’s vintage style and feel immediately at home. Spacious with window views of red tiled rooftops and harbor. Period kitchen cabinets and new appliances. China plates, prints, needle point and paintings on the walls with shelves of pottery and plants. Colorful print duvet. Heated bathroom floor. I love Bergen, but this apt was a highlight of my stay.

Vårt andre opphold på denne koselige og fine hytten. Hytten er godt utstyrt, og møbler og senger komfortable. Hytten ligger rett ved flotte skiløyper. Kommer gjerne igjen :)

Beautiful stay in "Havgløtt" - so quiet and peaceful to be close to the sea. Enchanting steep rocks surround the cabin, and you can feel the history here. I swam every day even though the water was freezing. My dog loved it here, too! She hardly wanted to come inside. The cabin is old-fashioned in a cozy way - this time of year (March) it's good to keep the fire going to stay warm. Christian is a wonderful host, ready to help with any question or request you might have.

Hyggelig vertinne. Dette var en liten men veldig ren og pen leilighet , med alt vi trengte for vårt opphold. Reiste med 2 barnebarn . De sov på dobbel sovesofa i stuen. Det var satt frem litt godis og lesestoff til disse 2, koselig! lekeplass/barnehage rett utenfor. Kort kjøretur fra til Leirvik sentrum og eventyrskogen. Veldig fornøyd med både leilighet og opphold. Takk for oss , vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

The place was exactly as described! Clean and efficient. The location was also easy to find on google maps. Barbara was also helpful with directions if in case there were questions. She was very responsive and waited until quite late in the night for us to checkin. There is a small steam behind the cabin and it’s very beautiful. Lot of good pictures can be clicked! Proper heating is available and all kitchen amenities are provided. It was a really good experience of a nordic cabin stay!
