Vacation rentals with breakfast in Hardanger

We absolutely loved our stay with Knut and his family! Hands down the most generous people we've ever met. We picked Knut's house as it was a traditional Norwegian barn house and a good location whilst on our hiking trip around Bergen. There’s also a bus to Bergen which runs quite regularly. Knut offered us to stay in their cabin in the mountains and of course we had to say yes, in return we had to feed a lamb… perfect! Their cabin was very homely. He also offered us a trip on their little boat. I’d recommend this place to other travellers who are on hiking trips, the views from the house are also very nice. You’ll also be greeted by lots of animals, we had the pleasure of meeting the two newly hatched chicks. Thank you for letting us stay, we loved it. Highlight of our trip 

I was looking for accommodation near to the resorts of Voss and Myrkdalen. I hired a car at the airport and drove, Voss was 30mins and Myrkdalen was 50mins so for me ideally placed. Bridget even helped me plan my day off and the public transport to and from my Fjord cruise. I was made very welcome using the family room and felt at ease whether integrating with the whole family or just sat reading my book. Jason the pet dog was a joy but feel that not being into dog's would not have been a problem. I didn't have an evening meal with the family but did use the kitchen to prepare my own food. The breakfast was very good and varied. I recycle all i can at home in the UK but was impressed by their system. Parking was easy being just outside.

Johnny is a great guy who will go the extra mile for his guests! You can see that he spent many years in the hotel industry as he cares about the smallest details to make the experience as nice as it was. He even took the time to inform and scout about good fishing spots :) Johnny also loves to chat about a very wide range of topics. Can only recommend! Pleasant stay. The rooms were as expected.

Apartment was clean and comfy. Everything was as described in description. Very friendly and helpful host!! The apartment is in a great location, most of the Bergen's attractions are nearby!! Worth the money for a comfortable nights stay.

Perfect place for one (or more!) nights in Bergen. A short walk from the bus and train station. Very quiet and clean.

it was very nice to stay at Camilla's place. The apartment is very centrally located so it's easy to walk to the city. The host is cozy and easy to communicate with. I definitely recommend this place.

Clean and tidy apartment, looks exactly like the photos. Easy to find and walkable distance to the center of Bergen, restaurants and shops etc.

The value was amazing. Inna is so kind. She did some of my laundry after a long journey, made a lovely breakfast, and helped me get to the ferry on time. Her home is so warm and safe. It felt like a room out of a little fairytale. I didn't want to leave! Thank you so much.

This place is a steal! Inger went above and beyond by picking me up from the light rail stop later at night. She was very hospitable and kind, answering any questions I had about the area, telling me exactly which trains and buses to take to town. The unit is upstairs and has everything you need, from a little kitchenette to a cozy bed, desk, and she even made breakfast. Felt like home! Book here if you ever travel to Bergen.

Our stay at Vik's place was great. Vik Pensjonat is very centrally located in the cozy Eidfjord, which is the perfect base to visit the Gardangervidda, get to know more about the Vikings and you will stay among the fjords with a great view! The room is not large but very nice and cozily furnished (just as you see in the photo). The shared bathroom is a downside, but we were very clearly informed of this at the time of booking. So we certainly can't complain about that. Although the bathroom might use an upgrade, it also fits the charm of the house. Oh and I definitely shouldn't forget to mention: Vik Pensjonat has the best bakery! Be sure to try their cinnamon cake and chocolate-suisse. The best of Norway!
