House vacation rentals in Hardanger

Hi all, the house is a little bit old, but absolutely CHARMING and we missed nothing! :) There is a great terrasse with a wonderful view, even when it is raining you can sit outside in a very cosy corner. Even if we stayed in July and there are around 50 mobile homes around you, it was veeery silent and the children could use the great common pool often on their own. ;-) We also liked the play barn (with table tennis, billards, dart board, etc. (but the dart board should be replaced, because it is really old and not in a good state - suggestion: replace the board, buy new darts and put a carpet on the ground to protect the darts... ;-))! We really can recommend to stay in the house of Hege! :) Cheers, Michael and family

Great place and very homey home! Very nice reception with regards from the landlord. Cozy welcoming home, with ample patio, swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Only 2 minutes walk from Norway's most beautiful beach. Short drive to Skudneshavn which is really an idyllic village, with several daring and old traditional buildings. Simply magical. Here you will find the tranquility right away, and a wake-up call that really makes you feel welcome! We'll be back for sure! Highly recommended! 😊

We had a fantastic long weekend at Torbjørn's house. We were an extended family with grandparents, children, in-laws and grandchildren, a total of 8 adults and 2 small ones. Very tastefully decorated house with good bolting space. There were several toilets/bathrooms, which was great when we were so many. The outdoor area was superb, undisturbed and peaceful with great views. There was a heated pool where small and big enjoyed themselves, very clean and well cared for. A cozy outdoor living room for the evenings was too, but we were lucky enough with the weather that there was no need for it. Heiane, with all the shops, was just a few minutes away. We will be happy to come again another time and can highly recommend the house. Thank you for us :)

We loved our stay here! The check in was easy, the home was lovely with everything you would want and need with a gorgeous outside area which would be perfect with some good weather, plenty of space for parking and the area was very quiet. All with a very helpful host who was very responsive. We will definitely be staying here again!

We completely enjoyed our time in Stanevik and especially in Trines house. Absolutely perfekt.

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

We were a family of 7 adults and 3 children (3 generations) and had a fantastic stay at Kåre's place. It was easy to check in and lots of room for everyone. Kåre has a great house with lots of bolting space inside and outside. Nice bedrooms with great beds. Everyone aged 2-70 enjoyed themselves all weekend and would love to stay longer. Kåre was also very helpful and responded quickly if we had any questions and could quickly come by if there was anything we needed help with. Really recommend staying with Kåre and would love to come back.😊

Wonderful property in an amazing location with a magnificent view of the Fjords! The surroundings are superbly scenic and peaceful, at the same time there are enough activities to keep the kids busy (our group had 2 boys - 5 and 7 years old respectively. Karina and Erlend are wonderful hosts, responsive and considerate, and have taken really good care of keeping the house in immaculate condition. Connectivity to Bergen and onwards cruises for the Fjords is not too far, and in fact one can really do some good day trips from the property itself. Highly, highly recommended and a big thanks once again to Karina and Erlend!!

We stayed here for a work trip nearby. The house was central and the host was nice and extremely quick responses! 10/10

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

It's like a balm for the soul to visit the Tinghuset in Dimmelsvik. We would gladly came back:)

We had a very nice stay at the house. The host is a very friendly woman and we felt very welcomed. The area is breathtaking and the house has the perfect view over the water and the beautiful nature of Norway.

It was a great vacation, with a great place to stay. The hosts were always available at short notice, very friendly and always helped. We would book again!

Staying here was an incredible experience. My wife and I were in awe of the spectacular views of the tranquil fjord, the snow-capped mountains around us, and the gushing waterfall next to the house. We used the kitchen a lot during our stay and immediately fell in love with it. It is the best stocked airbnb kitchen we have come across. Cooking in it felt so natural and everything was easy to find. The living room was also a highlight- it is spacious and, as the description says, it easily fits several guests but it still felt cozy with only us two. And of course, the hot tub was perfect to relax in on cold and windy evenings as the sun went down. It is clear Hans and Emily have put so much care and thoughtfulness into making this cabin a home for their guests. Their attentiveness extends beyond the house too and when the conditions were right to see the northern lights, they eagerly messaged us to make sure we didn't miss it. Every moment we spent here was a delight.

A few weeks later and we are still dreaming about this place. The home itself is so idyllic and traditional, we felt so lucky to stay here. Sandvikstorget is so peaceful and quiet and if you stay here then it’s easy to strike a balance between hygge and the bustling city atmosphere. Strolling around this area we saw an abundance of beautiful architecture and nearby was Falske Reker wine bar which is perfect for watching the sunset plus the amazing Bakeri 29 for breakfast / lunch. The house was spotless and although it was small, every inch of space has been used efficiently which made it feel more spacious and cosy. We particularly loved the bathroom layout. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to make a home-cooked meal and the supermarket around the corner was so useful. We truly cannot fault this place and have recommended it to all of our friends. We can only hope you return again in the future!

Great little house in the most beautiful neighborhood of Bergen, who likes to live authentically, is in the right place. We really enjoyed our time there. Short way to downtown. Just book and experience.

Great home for kids - our kids (6 and 9) had a blast. As did the adults. The tram is a few minutes from the front door, great location.

Very nice and calm space. Walking distance to nice hiking trails and city center. Highly recommend this one. Host was nice and responded quickly

Everything is great for those who like it lonely! Useful to know with young children is that the house has three floors connected by very steep ladders. It wasn't an issue for us.

Lovely place, peaceful with amazing views. This house has been remodeled and looks like new, absolutely perfect. Modern new appliances and fixtures, tastefully decorated and very clean. We had a wonderful stay with a comfy bed and nice linens. I hope we get back to this part of Norway, we would definitely come back again.
