Our 2 BR, 2 BA rustic cabin has basic modern conveniences to make for a wonderful mountain vacation experience. WiFi is now available, but we encourage you and your family to enjoy the simplicity of the cabin, unplug & get away from it all. The natural outdoor environment is perfect for relaxing & viewing local wildlife.

Beautiful, cozy Log Home, located in Downtown Grand Lake, just steps away from restaurants, bars, shops, trails and lake activities. Walking distance to everything there is to do in town, across from the town parking lot where you can park your trailer, boat or large vehicle for the whole duration of your stay. Built in 1901 and constantly renovated to keep up with our guests needs. Newly added Hot Tub (see house rules) lets you enjoy the fresh mountain air in the comfort of a 100 degree tub.

Quintessential Lake House, Spectacular Views

Enjoy making ever-lasting memories at our Cabin. In the Spring through Autumn we offer a canoe, 2-kayaks and paddle board from our private dock where you may fish and play on the water all day or relax by the campfire while you roast marshmallows and enjoy family laughter. GL town is 1 mile away from the cabin. RMNP is near as well Let us spoil you with a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and spa like bathrooms. Entire brand new, modern & bright cabin. We lost the cabin in 2020 in one of the largest wildfires in Colorado history, and just finished rebuilding. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. You can snowmobile/ATV from cabin to trails in less than 10 min. 4WD/AWD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Winter.

Classic Colorado A-frame on the creek

This charming A frame is so cozy! The living room, dining space and kitchen greet you right as you walk in. The house has a wonderful layout for families, with bathrooms on the main level and the walk out basement, and two living areas. There are large decks off the front and back of the house, adirondacks and picnic table allow taking in the gorgeous view and listening to the seasonal creek very comfortable. Two parking spaces and snowmobiles can be parked right off the road.

That Dam Cabin, too!

This historic yet modern 500 square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway for us and wanted others to share this experience too. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to the Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire.
