Hour from Denver. 25 min to Idaho Springs. 50 min to Loveland ski area. On the path behind the house there are abandoned buildings from the old mining community. 10,500 ft elevation. It can be accessed via a scenic 20-minutes drive from I-70, along Fall River Road. You can walk to the trailhead for Saint Mary's Glacier, a 1.9-mile well-used trail to a beautiful lake.
