Family-friendly vacation rentals in Goleta

We loved the house and the location and enjoyed our stay. Our group of 12 friends, the max the house can accommodate, stayed for three nights. All of us had comfortable beds, all bedrooms have nice décor. The living room is large with comfy sofas and chairs. The dining table could seat 12 so it was great for all of us to sit around and relax. The house and kitchen were well equipped. The only items we had to ask for were extra rolls of toilet paper and paper towels which were promptly delivered by the onsite caretaker. We enjoyed the pool table, and the library in the loft but didn’t get time to soak in the hot tub on the back deck. The property is surrounded by trees and greenery. The site and house are rustic but very comfortable. There are two full bathrooms, and both are upstairs. A half-bath downstairs would have been great, but it was only a minor inconvenience. Location is very convenient - just a 10-minute drive from Ojai downtown. We would definitely stay there again.

Space felt very private, even when using outdoor living space. Amenities provided were exactly what we needed for our stay. Timothy responded very promptly with any concerns or questions. Bedding, linens, and furniture all very welcoming and comfortable. Incredible surrounding views. We love sitting in the back patio, watching the sunset.

Kim is a very nice, responsible host. This is the second time we stayed at her house. The location is quiet and convenient. The house is spacious and clean. We will come back again!

Our stay at this magical home brought endless surprises. The land is full with citrus and native trees, surrounded by chirping birds. The overlooking view of the cliffs and tres from the front porch chairs brought so many happy signs of life, huge hawks, light from the sun, and glowing stars. The home itself is filled with handmade tapestries, colorful paintings, and unusual treasures that invite relaxation and play. The beds and bedding were super cozy and allowed for deep rest. The kitchen is appointed with everything you would need to cook, though the restaurants in Ojai were a short drive away. I made lasting memories in this unusual and welcoming home! And, Catie was beyond helpful. She worked with us our requests in ways that showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests. I felt so taken care of! We will return again to this place that inspired us to reconnect with ourselves and Mother Earth

I cannot say enough great things about both the home and the information and responsiveness that Todd & Jodi provided during our stay. We were fortunate to find their place available at the last minute and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Home was beautiful and on a great piece of land, peaceful, quiet and convenient. We felt right at home, almost better than right at home, which was the whole purpose of our visit. Beds, bathrooms, kitchen and all the accessories of the home were top notch. All the recommendations and help in finding last minute winery visits and dinner reservations were incredibly helpful as well. We will be back.

Such a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful place to stay. We had a lovely breakfast on the patio followed with enjoying the swings, zip line and hammocks out on the grassy area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Dawn’s sweet downtown cottage. She has created a darling, fully equipped hideaway within walking distance of State Street, and if you’d rather ride a bike around, she provides them too!!! The comfortable backyard space was a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine after a full day of walking around Santa Barbara.

We really enjoyed the pretty garden setting and relaxed and read outdoors. Will was very accommodating and responded quickly when I had a question. We ate at his restaurant that was on the premises and it was excellent, both food and service!

What an amazing little beach home. We loved Ian's home. It was stocked with everything we could need, the home was clean and cozy and had an ocean view from upstairs. The neighborhood is amazing and there are several charming restaurants just a block away from the house. Highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at the casita, and Jeanne is a wonderful host! It truly felt like coming home. She had coffee, a delicious pound cake and scones all waiting for us as a treat during our stay. We had beautiful weather and were able to enjoy having breakfast and lunch on the patio, with joyful birdsong all around us. This place is a gem - definitely recommend staying there if your travels take you to the Santa Ynez Valley!

We had such a great stay. The studio was quiet and peaceful, but still just a short walk to the beach and everything we needed. We loved the ocean view from the studio and the beautiful yard surrounding the property. We’ll definitely be back!

Rick was an excellent host. His house was great for a family. His instructions were detailed, helpful and timely. What’s more - we had the pleasure of meeting him while there and he was a treasure of knowledge about the local sights and restaurants. If you’re looking to visit SB, look no further and book Rick’s place if it is available. It’s a great set up for a family, and both my kids (and parents) enjoyed it.

Lots of room for extra friends/family. Great stove top/easy cleaning up. Clean pool, working laundry room. Amazing outside view! Checks off as a really great spot to stay for a few days. Outside amenities is okay could be better. But overall, the stay was pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay, the cabin was spotless, beautiful, and very comfortable. We found everything we needed. The location and views are gorgeous, we loved the deck overlooking the mountains. Would definitely come back!

Jolie and the cabin were amazing! Great with communication and desired to make sure we had everything we needed, even willing to go above and beyond most other places. My boyfriend and I had a great time!

I got sick on the way to LA and Stayed with Jennifer almost for week - her hospitality was more than i could ask for. When she went to the town, she asked if i need any groceries or wanna order food - she picked up lunch for me - will recommend her to any one who wants to have cabin experience and piece of mind:)

Cozy cabin was a great basecamp for our family. We loved the loft upstairs, the place had everything we needed, and we felt right at home. Nice location to explore Pine Mountain Club - beautiful hikes abound just at the end of the street. Enjoyed it!

Hilary’s home was wonderful. Great location just minutes away from downtown Solvang. The home was well stocked and the gourmet kitchen was wonderful to cook in. The kids enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed the views and coolbreeze on the pool deck. It was super relaxing! We loved the 2 pianos in the home which we enjoyed playing a few tunes on. We did a zip line tour which was only minutes away from the home. Multiple fruit trees and flowers enhanced the manicured property. Our doggy enjoyed the lawn but did pick up ticks on our walk around the neighborhood. We were able to brush them off him. Thankfully he’s on tick and flea prevention. Overall we had a fantastic time and the kids were sad to leave. We could’ve used a few more days! Thank you Hilary for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Julie’s place is amazing!!! Better than expected. College friend reunion. We really enjoyed the pool and the yoga studio and outdoor area. Julie is a delight!
