Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Gmunden

Our stay was very pleasant. We were lucky with the weather and could have breakfast in the garden every day, sit in the sun and read. The garden is beautiful! The apartment has everything you need, quietly located and yet you can walk to the city center in a few minutes.

Very comfortable, beautiful, high-quality apartment with wonderful views (panoramic windows in the living room), plus quiet. Even nicer than in the photos. Very suitable for relaxing, outside on the terrace (incl. deckchairs) and inside in the comfortable seating. Even from one of the beds, you have great views! Lots of hiking opportunities in beautiful scenery. Privacy, you don't notice anything from the neighbors. We were thrilled and would be happy to come back!

We had a great stay. We appreciate the privacy of the house, it's an ideal stay for families with small kids. I hope we can come back again one day!

We had an unforgettable stay at Hallstatt Lakeview House! The views were absolutely stunning — truly some of the best in the area. The home was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. Our hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful, providing detailed instructions that made finding the house easy. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stay here and would absolutely return. We, 5 friends who were here for sports, were warmly welcomed at the accommodation. The quiet, idyllic location is a dream! The old farmhouse is also very charming and sparkling clean. Thanks to the beautiful weather, we could also have breakfast outside and enjoy the starry sky at night. Thanks Elisabeth and family for a great stay. We will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice stay and felt very comfortable

We had a wonderful time at Karin's place. Karin's parents welcomed us very lovingly, with an extra toy basket for our 18-month-old daughter, tips for the area and just a nice conversation. The accommodation is quietly located on the upper floor - you have your privacy and everything your heart desires. The garden was also great. We will be happy to come back.

The stay was an absolute dream! The cottage was very tasteful and cozy - the view was magnificent. We felt very comfortable and welcome right from the beginning. Veronika gave us good recommendations and was very kind. Our highlight: the fine guitar sounds we were able to listen to in the morning. We will be happy to come back :)

Absolute recommendation! The area of Maria's place is like paradise. The view, the tranquility, simply fabulous. The place is really nice and there was nothing we missed. Maria's hospitality is particularly noteworthy. She made us feel at home. At any time, she gave personal tips on hikes and local events. One could list much more here, but unfortunately the characters are not enough. The fresh hay milk and eggs directly from their own cow and chickens were also special. It was really wonderful! Thank you! ☺️

Great place.. amazing view and walkable to the lake and groceries nearby. Convenient parking. You wouldnt feel like leaving the apartment given the beautiful and calm surrounding. Kitchen was also well fitted and beds were comfortable.

WOW!!!! If you were to stay in Hallstatt, this is the place! On the water, beautifully appointed and beyond perfect. Our host Christina was always responsive and the place was immaculate, we can’t thank her enough for the information and the absolute perfection of our stay.

the location is amazing but to get to it, you have to drive on narrow lanes. the view from the apartment is lovely with mountain view.

Arrive & feel good... The apartment is spacious & very cozy. Everything is so clean that we felt like we were the first guests. But certainly not that the apartment has been rented for years. Radu was very helpful, always available when needed & very friendly. The amenities are perfect & the terrace is fantastic. Since we don't have a bathtub & sofa, these two things were our personal highlight. In particular, since the bathtub is a whirlpool & the sofa is so cozy & large that 3 people could easily sleep on it. Those who love nature are in a perfect environment there. It is very quiet & surrounded by pure nature. Thanks for the relaxing days!

Staying at Samuel's was awesome! Even in advance, the communication was very friendly and proactive. Check-in was totally straightforward and flexible thanks to clear instructions. The free parking on site was also particularly pleasant. Samuel and the family living there are super warm – I felt at home from the first moment. Absolutely recommend, happy to come again!

We made a stopover in Bad Füssing on our way through and used the apartment with a total of 5 people. The stay was very pleasant. The apartment was extremely clean, tastefully furnished and well equipped – you immediately feel comfortable. Even though we unfortunately couldn't meet Christian in person (we arrived late), the check-in was completely uncomplicated. Everything was well prepared. The location is quiet and ideal for relaxing. Overall a very nice place to stay – we can definitely recommend it. We thank you very much and will be happy to come back if we get the chance! Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

We felt very comfortable. Bea and Alexander were very open-minded and had great tips for activities, parking, etc. We'll be back.

The apartment is idyllically located in a top condition and has a beautiful balcony overlooking the Traunstein. It is about 45 minutes on foot to the nearest town and about 20 minutes to the nearest swimming area. If you want to be flexible, a car is recommended or for sporty people bicycles or e-bikes. In the apartment you can relax well, enjoy the beautiful view and tranquility and relax well. Your hostess is very sweet and relaxed and can give you good tips for activities. We had a lovely week at Susanne's

A very delightful welcome in the apartment was that everything was thought of in advance, such as treats for children and dogs, and a dog bed, etc. Spacious and functional accommodation for at least our family of four and two dogs. Nothing to complain about, only good things to say. Very friendly and peaceful area, in the backyard a very nice playground for children. Hosts are very friendly and respond well to messages. We can highly recommend this home.

Great place and amazing view of the Austrian mountains.

We had an amazing stay at Nora & Peter's property recently. The apartment looks even better than the photos and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We have enjoyed our tea in the balcony watching beautiful sunsets. The apartment is very well equipped and very thoughtful designed by the hosts. Everything is exceptionally clean . The kitchen was also very well stocked which was helpful for us to make meals occasionally. We also were in love with this town, loved to walk by the lake. Its so peaceful. In the summers, this lake is filled with water activities, swimming etc. There is a small convenient store 2 min down the road. Nora and Peter were constantly in touch with us and were very helpful from the start to the end. This is one of the best properties we have lived in and Nora & Peter are absolutely the best hosts which made our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
