Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Austria

We were there in 2022. We liked it so much that we have booked there again. The small apartment is quiet, bright, even with a balcony. The kitchen is well equipped. Carolina and Alois are very friendly people and very helpful and straightforward. We will be back!!!

WOW! When we saw the photos of the property during the book, we wondered if reality could catch up with us sobering. But the opposite occurred: It's even nicer on site than in the photos. You can easily check into a feel-good oasis. A warm feeling of home with clean character at the same time, a perfect mix. For me personally, it was a first holiday that was supposed to have a real relaxation frame and had a big share of success in the great Casa. Fireplace set at the touch of a button, leisurely hours on the window sill overlooking the distance and the cable car, then a sauna with mountain panorama and before going to bed - by the way in a great bed - a swimming pool stay. What more could you ask for (or even a woman)? The kitchen offers all the options to take care of yourself. Our dog also felt "bully"comfortable and enjoyed the long walks that are offered around the chalets. Great!!!

The house of Anita and Mathias is very beautiful, we had the fire lit and it gave a very cozy and homely atmosphere. The house is very well remodeled, the bathroom and kitchen are almost new and everything you need for a short stay. Also the surrounding is very nice and quiet, full of green and nature, we did many activities every day like; walking, going to the wildpark, spa, etc. They provided us with a very useful pdf with lots of tips for things to see and do in the surrounding area. Anita and Mathias live next door to the cabin, were always reachable and very helpful when we needed something. Happy to go again for a longer time:) highly recommended.

Fantastic stay right on Lake Mattsee – highly recommended! We were very lucky to spend a few days in this beautiful house on Lake Mattsee, and it was just fantastic. The location is unbeatable – right on the lake with breathtaking views that delight every morning. The place was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated and superbly equipped, so we didn't miss anything. Herbert welcomed us warmly and was an attentive, friendly host who was always available for questions. Thank you, Herbert, for this unforgettable vacation! We will be happy to come back.

A fantastic retreat surrounded by nature! The chalet is furnished with a lot of love for detail and exudes a wonderfully cozy atmosphere – we immediately felt comfortable. The sauna with the fantastic view is the perfect place to relax and was our highlight. We highly recommend the regional Carinthian noodles, which can be ordered directly from Teresa. The smoked trout is just as delicious! Despite rainy weather, we were able to slow down wonderfully, or because of it. The view of the foggy mountains was breathtaking. Teresa is a warm host – we will definitely be back! ❤️

We felt comfortable immediately upon arrival, the apartment is small, but very lovingly and practically designed. Everything you need, even for self-catering, is available and of high quality. Marlene is an extremely friendly and helpful hostess who also gives you tips for activities. In addition, plenty of brochure material is available. Pauli and Leo also make the stay very special.

Within 10 minutes you are right on the water. However, if you walk towards the apartment, it becomes quieter and quieter until you can no longer hear anything when you reach the apartment. You are surrounded only by natural sounds. You could also easily spend several hours in the apartment, if, for example, the weather was bad. The contact with Angelika was very nice. The recommendations were helpful and made the time there even more enjoyable. Would definitely go again.

A practical apartment. Lots of space. Everything was available. We slept well. Landlady very nice. She showed us the way with name tags. It was also very quiet despite the street. We liked it. Thank you again for letting us spend the week with you.

We felt super comfortable in the apartment. In particular, we liked the very good amenities of the kitchen and the beautiful balcony. The apartment is also really large enough for 2 people. Everything was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

We had a wonderful time and felt very comfortable in Susanne's beautiful apartment. The place is very nicely decorated and nothing was missing. The view from the balcony and the bedroom is fantastic. Susanne welcomed us in a very friendly and warm way. We highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back again.

This was one of our best stays so far. The place offered a fantastic view of the mountains and the city,sunset views are mystical and must not be missed. The house was spacious, cozy and had all the required amenities. Cristina and Ernst were great hosts and made us super comfortable. They were quick in their responses and humble in their approach. Amazing place, a huge comfortable bed overlooking the misty forest. The sauna was a huge bonus too! Absolutely loved it, would stay again but for much longer.

I had a wonderful stay at the penthouse in Obertraun/Hallstatt. Everything was just as pictured—if not even better. The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. Andrea was very responsive and helpful whenever I had questions, which made the whole experience even smoother. I felt completely safe and at ease throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday getaway.

We have been here three times already. Elke is a perfect host, the house is immaculate and the place is magical.

The apartment is well located for both hiking in the surrounding area and access into Innsbruck. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The private outdoor terrace had tremendous views and was south facing yet still secluded. Small, well appointed supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Overall I would highly recommend.
