Lake house vacation rentals in Austria

Constanze's spacious lakeside home was a gem of a find! An idyllic location; gardens leading down to the jetty & lake ; amazing views across to mountains; excellent scenic walks to either end of the lake; train station 5 minutes walk away with regular, reliable service to Salzburg & elsewhere. We made the best use of this beautiful house & location & the wood burning stove was very much appreciated on the cooler evenings! Constanze was a great host, was there to meet & greet us & with excellent communication via phone too & we have no hesitation in recommending her lovely home.

We stayed in more than 25 Airbnb listings across Europe, but this one was definitely the highlight! Great location in the reed belt of Lake Neusiedl, right on the water. Individual, stylish, practical and fully furnished. Great terrace with full day direct sun. Canoe, stand-up and bicycles available for free use. The contact with Bene and Nadja was warm and uncomplicated. The original Airbnb thought is perfectly implemented: a private, not primarily commercial accommodation. For whom? Perfect for families or 2 couples. The location is quiet, but everything is easily accessible. Perfect for excursions, chilling in and at the house, in all seasons! 100% recommendation! 1

Arrived and felt right at home! The house is superbly divided and the rooms are functionally furnished. Heidi replaced a mattress that was no longer good within a day. It's great that we were allowed to use everything. We almost inflated the bike. Because there is only one bathroom and toilet on the first floor, you could often hear the stairs creaking loudly at night. For us house dust allergy sufferers, the many carpets, upholstery and pillows are not optimal, next time we will take medication, because we would very much like to come back. Many thanks also for the very friendly welcome and great hospitality!

Everything is fine, uncomplicated communication, Christa welcomed us warmly, perfectly equipped, fantastic location, ... what more😊 could you recommend 100%! Will be more than happy to come back anytime!

We had a wonderful week. The lakeside location, simply fantastic. Claudia is very friendly and was always available to us, even special requests were fulfilled. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you've come to the right place :-)

We stayed at Peter and Mariyas for the Taylor swift concert that was sadly cancelled but they made our trip to Vienna so nice!!! Gave us many recommendations and brought us bottles of Prosecco to make up for the cancelled concert! Even brought a AC unit over when it was warmer. They really went above and beyond for us!! We are so appreciative!

We were warmly welcomed and were even allowed to taste fruit and vegetables fresh from the garden. A very nice little house, we felt very comfortable and will certainly recommend the place

I had vacation here with family in May. This place was beyond my expectation. Inside the house we had everything we needed. Outside the house there are gorgeous views, bike, grill, boat. Host is very nice and friendly, he took us from train station and back on a car. Also there is a far farm on the oposide side of the road with cows, hourses, goats and lovely dog. We had a very great time here.

We had a great time at Lake Attersee at Vanessa's place. All as described. The kitchen is really very well equipped for an Airbnb. The house is quiet. Communication with Vanessa was very straightforward. We would highly recommend it.

it was a very nice, clean and organized house where close to Ossiacher See area, you can walk to the See with a wonderful view. Lots of restaurants, Pizza, gas station and super market close by, during the night you can enjoy the beautiful stars and moon on the balcony.

Delightful accommodation that exceeded our expectations, Vanessa was very accommodating and always helped with everything right away. Perfect mountain views, all perfectly prepared. The house was very cold at first, but after contacting the host, who responded immediately and adjusted the temperature was perfect. Thank you. ❤️

Katharina’s place was incredible! The views were amazing and Katharina was super friendly. If you are looking for a peaceful, well kept place to stay, then this is it. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wish we could have stayed longer!

The house was exactly as pictured and very clean. We felt very comfortable. Petra answered questions quickly.

Very nice and spacious house, larger than you can see from the photos: with seven people, plus a dog, we were very comfortable. Comfortable bedrooms and very well separated from each other, on different floors. Very clean, tidy and cozy house; there is everything you need, even in the garden with barbecue and comfortable deck chairs. We were provided with a wonderful amount of food: coffee, tea, herbal teas, honey, oil, pasta, etc.; but also apples, milk, eggs, chocolates, beer; we made a risotto with the spinach picked in the garden. Macy was very kind, helpful and responsive, she waited for us to arrive by car from Milan without hurrying us, upon arrival she explained everything in detail. The neighborhood is residential, elegant, quiet. The house is very close to the main subway that crosses the center of Vienna, reachable in a few minutes by bus or car: a multi-storey parking lot always has spaces available. A highly recommended home!

amazing location for families a playground in walking distance and a larger "Motorikpark" right around the corner with plenty of shopping immediately around. host was extremely responsive even though we decided to stay last minute, can't recommend them enough!

In all of my travels, this by far has been one of the very best experiences. The wonderful hosts, Martin & Karin are the most responsive, hospitable, accommodating and friendly hosts I’ve ever dealt with. The house is a traditional style home fully equipped with all amenities. It’s spotlessly clean and situated in a peaceful street with amazing views of the mountains. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful place to stay. Thank you both so much, Martin and Karin.

We were very impressed with the accommodation, private wine cellar - excellent, very good wine, the hosts were very nice and loving and also gave us good tips for the bike tours and the guest card was very appreciative, all outdoor pools around Lake Neusiedl are free and much more. There is a lot to do here. Parking is available in front of the house for the guests. Very satisfied and recommended.

We had a wonderful stay! Anneliese was very friendly and accommodating. The house offered plenty of space for our group of 10, exactly as described. The beds were comfortable and also well suited for larger people. Only the kitchen equipment was a bit spartan, but that didn't affect our stay. We will be happy to come back!

sadly we had to cancel our trip at the last minute for health reason, but until the last moment the communication with Hans was perfect and he seems to be a really nice and caring host, I can only recommend it.

What a wonderful view around this apartment. The apartment definitely met our expectations. It was sparkling clean and everything we needed was present. The place is very very nice, we felt comfortable during the stay, also the conservatory is an absolutely sweet dream, you could not get enough of the view. Shopping facilities are very easy to reach on foot, just like the train station or the outdoor swimming pool:) It has the right balance to the everyday life we needed:)
