Lake house vacation rentals in Austria

Constanze's spacious lakeside home was a gem of a find! An idyllic location; gardens leading down to the jetty & lake ; amazing views across to mountains; excellent scenic walks to either end of the lake; train station 5 minutes walk away with regular, reliable service to Salzburg & elsewhere. We made the best use of this beautiful house & location & the wood burning stove was very much appreciated on the cooler evenings! Constanze was a great host, was there to meet & greet us & with excellent communication via phone too & we have no hesitation in recommending her lovely home.

Wir waren in mehr als 25 Airbnb Unterkünften in ganz Europa, aber diese war definitiv das Highlight! Toll gelegen im Schilfgürtel des Neusiedler Sees, direkt am Wasser. Individuell, stilvoll, praktisch und komplett eingerichtet. Tolle Terrasse mit ganztägiger direkter Sonne. Kanu, StandUp und Fahrräder zur freien Benutzung verfügbar. Der Kontakt zu Bene und Nadja war herzlich und unkompliziert. Der ursprüngliche Airbnb Gedanke ist perfekt umgesetzt: eine private, nicht primär kommerzielle Unterkunft. Für wen? Perfekt für Familien oder 2 Paare. Die Lage ruhig, aber alles gut erreichbar. Perfekt für Ausflüge, chillen im und am Haus, zu allen Jahreszeiten! 100% Empfehlung! 1

Angekommen und wie Zuhause gefühlt! Das Haus ist super aufgeteilt und die Zimmer zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Eine nicht mehr gute Matratze hat Heidi binnen eines Tages ausgetauscht. Super, dass wir alles benutzen durften, fast hätten wir auch das Fahrrad aufgepumpt. Dadurch, dass es nur ein Bad und Toilette im EG gibt, hörte man nachts öfter die Treppe laut knarren. Für uns Hausstauballergiker sind die vielen Teppiche, Olster und Kissen nicht optimal, nächstes Mal werden wir medikamentös vorbeugen, denn wiederkommen möchten wir sehr gerne. Alles bestens, unkomplizierte Kommunikation, Christa hat uns herzlich empfangen, perfekt ausgestattet, traumhafte Lage, ... was will man mehr😊 können wir zu 100% weiterempfehlen! Kommen jederzeit sehr gerne wieder!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche. Die Lage am See, einfach traumhaft. Claudia ist sehr freundlich und war für uns immer erreichbar, auch Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier richtig:-)

We stayed at Peter and Mariyas for the Taylor swift concert that was sadly cancelled but they made our trip to Vienna so nice!!! Gave us many recommendations and brought us bottles of Prosecco to make up for the cancelled concert! Even brought a AC unit over when it was warmer. They really went above and beyond for us!! We are so appreciative!

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und durften sogar Obst und Gemüse frisch aus dem Garten verkosten. Ein sehr nettes kleines Haus , wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden die Unterkunft sicher weiterempfehlen

La maison disposait de tout ce dont nous avions besoin avec une superbe vue sur le lac Traunsee. L'intérieur est propre et spacieux, bien isolé de la chaleur et du bruit (malgré une route fréquentée derrière la maison). La terrasse est équipée d'un bon mobilier de jardin, d'un barbecue avec charbon de bois, d'un brasero que nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tester hélas. L'accès direct au lac est très appréciable, nous nous sommes baignés tous les jours. Comme indiqué dans l'annonce, il y a le passage de personnes qui viennent chercher leur bateau dans le jardin mais ils sont discrets, ce n'est pas gênant. La famille, par contre, profite aussi de l'accès au lac et du jardin de la maison en y posant sa serviette quand il fait beau, ce qui nous a davantage surpris et mis un peu mal à l'aise. Mais la sympathie de Michael et sa disponibilité ont effacé cela. Nous avons profité du paddle mis à notre disposition pour découvrir le lac. La maison est idéalement située pour découvrir la région.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit am Attersee in Vanessas Unterkunft. Alles wie beschrieben. Die Küche ist für ein Airbnb wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Haus liegt ruhig. Die Kommunikation mit Vanessa war sehr unkompliziert. Wir würden die Unterkunft definitiv empfehlen.

it was a very nice, clean and organized house where close to Ossiacher See area, you can walk to the See with a wonderful view. Lots of restaurants, Pizza, gas station and super market close by, during the night you can enjoy the beautiful stars and moon on the balcony.

Nádherné ubytování, které převýšilo naše očekávání, Vanessa byla velmi vstřícná a se vším vždy ihned pomohla. Dokonalé výhledy na hory, vše perfektně připravené. V baráku byla z počátku velká zima, ale po kontaktování hostitelky, která ihned reagovala a upravila teplotu bylo vše perfektní. Děkujeme. ❤️

Krásné, čisté, stylově zařízené ubytování s výhledem na jezero Attersee. K dispozici bylo vše, co nás jen napadlo (gril, venkovní posezení, lehátka, sauna, místo na uskladnění kol). Co jsme velice ocenili, byla soukromá pláž přímo na břehu jezera s chatičkou na převlékání a možností půjčení malé loďky; zde jsme si po celou dobu uschovali nafouknutý padleboard. Katharina je velice milá hostitelka, stále k dispozici. Každý den se zeptala, co máme v plánu, popřípadě poradila nějaké tipy.

Das Haus war genau wie auf den Bildern abgebildet und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Bei Fragen hat Petra schnell geantwortet.

Casa molto bella e spaziosa, più grande di quanto si capisca dalle foto: in sette persone, più un cane, siamo stati comodissimi. Camere da letto comode e molto ben separate l'una dall'altra, in diversi piani. Casa molto pulita, ordinata e accogliente; c'è tutto quanto occorre, anche nel giardino con barbecue e comode sdraio. Ci è stata fornita una meravigliosa quantità di viveri: caffè, the, tisane, miele, olio, pasta, etc.; ma anche mele, latte, uova, cioccolatini, birra; abbiamo fatto un risotto con gli spinaci raccolti nell'orto. Macy è stata molto gentile, disponibile e reattiva, ha aspettato che arrivassimo in auto da Milano senza farci nessuna fretta, all'arrivo ci ha spiegato tutto nei dettagli. Il quartiere è residenziale, elegante, tranquillo. La casa è molto vicino alla principale metropolitana che attraversa il centro di Vienna, raggiungibile in pochi minuti in autobus o con l'automobile: un parcheggio multipiano ha sempre posti disponibili. Una casa molto consigliata!

amazing location for families a playground in walking distance and a larger "Motorikpark" right around the corner with plenty of shopping immediately around. host was extremely responsive even though we decided to stay last minute, can't recommend them enough!

In all of my travels, this by far has been one of the very best experiences. The wonderful hosts, Martin & Karin are the most responsive, hospitable, accommodating and friendly hosts I’ve ever dealt with. The house is a traditional style home fully equipped with all amenities. It’s spotlessly clean and situated in a peaceful street with amazing views of the mountains. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful place to stay. Thank you both so much, Martin and Karin.

wir waren mit der Unterkunft sehr begeistert, privaten Weinkeller -top, sehr gutes Wein, die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und liebevoll und gaben uns auch gute Tipps für die Radtouren und die Gästekarte war sehr wertschätzend, alle Freibäder rund um den Neusiedler See sind gratis dabei und vieles mehr. Man kann hier viel unternehmen. Der Parkplatz ist vor dem Haus für die Gäste. Sehr zufrieden und empfehlenswert.

Angenehme Ferienwohnung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Schönes Häuschen gut gelegen am Mondsee. Ruhige Umgebung. Zuvorkommender Kontakt und jederzeit zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Anneliese war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus bot reichlich Platz für unsere Gruppe von 10 Personen, genau wie beschrieben. Die Betten waren bequem und auch für größere Personen gut geeignet. Lediglich die Küchenausstattung war etwas spartanisch, aber das hat unseren Aufenthalt nicht beeinträchtigt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

sadly we had to cancel our trip at the last minute for health reason, but until the last moment the communication with Hans was perfect and he seems to be a really nice and caring host, I can only recommend it.

Wat een prachtig uitzicht rondom dit appartement. Het appartement voldeed zeker aan onze verwachtingen. Het was er brandschoon en alles was we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Prima uitvalsbasis voor dagjes weg, bergwandelen etc. Gerald en zijn vrouw zijn hele aardige en behulpzame mensen. Hartelijk dank, we hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij jullie. Wat ons betreft een aanrader.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sehr nett, wir haben uns während des Aufenthalts wohl gefühlt, auch der Wintergarten ist ein absolut süßer Traum, an dem Ausblick konnte man sich nicht satt sehen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß sehr gut zu erreichen genau wie der Bahnhof oder das Freibad:) Es hat uns den passenden Ausgleich zum Alltag gegen, den wir gebraucht haben :)
