In summer there are also countless hiking opportunities, Høyt og Lavt climbing park, frisbee golf and open mountain pastures at Solbråsetra where the local woman Anne Hov invented Gudbrandsdal cheese in 1863. Gålå is a great family destination with lots of activities for the whole family. The place is especially known for a long ski season with good ski slopes, the Peer-gynt game, and many opportunities for biking in the summer.

New cabin built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski Resort, with alpine slopes and cross-country trails. 5-10 min walk to Høyt og Lavt Gålå (climbing park), alpine facilities, cross-country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to Peer-Gynt play. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.

Access to the high mountains Rondane and Jotunheimen is about 1 hour drive. The cabin is a short walk away from Gålå grocery store with year-round operation, and cafe and mountain hotel just nearby.

Willkommen in Snowcake Cottage, unsere luxuriöse Holzhütte mit einer tollen Ausstattung und einer einzigartigen Aussicht auf den Gålå-See sowie das Jotunheimen Gebirge. Bei uns findest du neben Sauna, Hot tub und freistehender Badewanne alles, was dein Herz begehrt! Bettwäsche und Handtücher, Shampoo und Duschgel sind ebenfalls inklusive. Nur das verbrauchte Holz sollte am Ende des Urlaubs wieder aufgefüllt werden.
