This was a wonderful place to stay. An authentically historic home with the beauty of old wood, the original large pine table and working old hearth. Yet it had all the comforts we expect and was spotlessly clean. There were several additional historic buildings on the large working farm. The view from the dining table and either porch is breathtaking. Best for us was Inga’s exceptional friendliness and the invaluable help she gave us in tracking down information on local family heritage. A reminder to bring your own shower toiletries. Exceptional place to stay!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Vilde. Door omstandigheden duurde ons verblijf 2 nachten langer dan gepland en ze deed alles wat mogelijk was om ons in het huis te laten verblijven. Echt super! Het huisje is heerlijk om te verblijven, het centrum van de stad is op loopafstand. Vilde en haar man denken echt met je mee en zijn super hulpvaardig. We zijn ze heel dankbaar voor alle hulp en de kanellebulle 😋😋 Huisje is een topaanrader!!

Super logement, fonctionnel et très bien équipé. Résidence au calme avec parking, buanderie, piscine et sauna communs. Hôte très arrangeant concernant notre départ et notre arrivée. Pistes de ski de fond à 5 min à pied. Attention, le linge de lit et les serviettes ne sont pas inclus - ça ne nous a pas paru très clair dans l’annonce.

Stayed with 2 persons for 4 days. Arrived by car, would definitely a 4x4 in winter times. Cabin is located in the vicinity of other cabins with an excellent mountain view, super cosy inside with all you need. Good access to the cross-country skiing slopes within walking distance. We rented our skiing equipment and went for grocery shopping in Sjusjøen (20 min by car). The communication with John was very good! He is a very dedicated and professional host!

We really enjoyed our stay in Hafjell at Frederic’s place. The apartment is everything you can wish for- modern, clean, really well equipped, got a lovely sauna and a fireplace, and an absolute must have for skiers- a drying cabinet. There is also a stunning view of the nearby mountains from the living room balcony. Frederic is a very friendly host who communicates efficiently and responds almost straight away. Overall, it was a great stay and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Vi havde en helt fantastisk bryllupsrejse med Ingrids hytte som udgangspunkt. Primitiv luksus kan bedst beskrive det. Uden 220v strøm og rindende vand, men samtidig langt over vores forventninger. Vi var glade fra start til slut. Af særligt charmerende detaljer kan nævnes: 1) Beliggenhed høj på fjeldet, afsondret fra omverdenen, men tilgængelig i en almindelig bil (VW Lupo). 2) Udsigten til Rondane var helt fantastisk. 3) Udendørs bruser med masser af varmt vand. 4) Åbent ildsted + brændeovn. 5) I køreafstand til indkøbscenter i Otta (15 min), Rondane nationalpark (25 min), Jotunheimen nationalpark (1,5 time) samt Lom (1 time).
