I fell in love with Sylvia’s very cozy comfy & private space when I first stayed in Sept ‘24. Sylvia offers the driveway fur parking, which is also above & beyond🙏🏼👍🏼❣️ I needed a slight arrival time adjustment. As always, Sylvia’s response was prompt & amenable👍🏼😉. I was in a Very Deeply Intensive training with an earlyearly morning & evening commute-25mins ea.-up the mountain. Sylvia’s quiet & lovely space continued to be a lovely respite at the close of each day👍🏼🙌🏽💖❣️

We had such a fantastic experience at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. Walking along a little path to our own private entrance, we passed by a cozy, cute garden space in front of the unit—it felt like stepping into a fairytale. The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. It truly felt like a home away from home. 
The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, offering helpful tips about the local area and making sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with restaurants, shops within a 5-minute drive. There are beautiful state parks nearby, perfect for enjoying weekends in the forest or by the beach. Within a 20-minute drive, there’s also an amazing local farmer’s market every Saturday. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and hassle-free stay. Thanks so much for being such a wonderful host!

I stayed here for two weeks and wish it could have been longer! Quiet, morning sun streaming through the French doors, lounging on the deck with my morning tea to watch the birds.Very quiet, an excellent place to get some work done. I'm not an artist, but this is indeed a unique opportunity to stay in an artist's studio, well equipped and ready for one to begin drawing and painting. Denise is the best host ever!

Beautiful Cottage by the sea with lovely decor and extraordinary kitchen. Lots of items to help keep things clean, garbage and compost bags, plenty of dish cloths, a laundry center and clear instructions / house rules. Autumn is very responsive, flexible and communicative. Beds are comfortable , one twin bed is more suited to a child than adult but other one is very supportive. Private beautiful garden space and multiple heating units to stay nice and cozy . Neighborhood is great , a quick walk to Rio Del Mar beach and close to shopping in Aptos Villsge and Rancho Del Mar shopping center. Will definitely be back, had a great vacation. Nice big TV with fast and reliable wi-fi as well.
