The penthouse makes a huge impression! The view from the window and balcony is amazing! the apartment has everything you need. a big plus is the underground parking. the beach is literally a stone's throw away, 2 minutes on foot. the owner is always available and answers any questions. his recommended restaurants are worth a look! I highly recommend it! We will definitely come back someday.

Words can’t explain how perfect this place was! We’ve stayed in luxury hotels that weren’t this amazing! Not to mention, Lucia is so kind and patient. I like when the owner meets us as it shows they take pride in their Airbnb. I can say the pictures on Airbnb don’t do it justice. The neighborhood and city is magical.

Immobile situato in una posizione centralissima, che permetteva di raggiungere le vicine Marina di Massa o Forte dei Marmi a pochi minuti di auto. Zona tranquilla e panoramica. Appartamento curato nei minimi dettagli, pulitissimo e fornito di beni necessari e non. L'host ha fatto trovare anche la colazione e diversi altri servizi che ci sono stati utilissimi (ferro da stiro, diffusore, macchinetta del caffè, ecc.). Indicazioni chiare, precise, check-in e checkout flessibili e in autonomia. Host sempre disponibile. Davvero consigliato, difficile trovare di meglio!

We experienced a peaceful, beautiful vacation in this special apartment, just a 15 minute walk from downtown or accessible easily by the bus. The view is spectacular, the space was very clean and comfortable and well appointed to meet our needs. They communicated quickly if we had questions and left great recommendations and instructions.

We truly can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay at Elvira and Alain’s apartment was. From the start, they gave us everything we needed to get around. The place was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. We loved the high-quality appliances, the clean and cozy space—including the balcony—and the great attention to detail. It’s even more beautiful than the photos. The location is perfect, just five minutes from the train station, with easy access to Cinque Terre and nearby restaurants. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Elvira and Alain themselves. From the very beginning, they were warm, helpful, and supportive—offering suggestions on what to do, always being available, and thoughtful without ever being intrusive. They went above and beyond by helping us adjust our arrival after a train strike, assisting with a surprise birthday bouquet, and sharing their homemade tiramisu truffles. One of the best stays we’ve ever had. Always recommended!

We enjoyed our time in Lucca and are very grateful to our host Vanessa who was so kind and helpful. She kept in contact in the lead up to our arrival and was willing to be available to answer any questions during our stay , responding quickly on the occasion we needed to ask a question. She was available to show us around this beautiful accommodation which is a huge benefit . She provided a list of local recommendations which we used and were always happy and impressed by her suggestions. The accommodation is in a perfect location within the walls of the old town but only 15 mins walk from the station.On one of the many old and beautiful cobbled streets. The accommodation itself was spotless and comfortable with a beautiful terrace and fully equipped. We will definitely return and would recommend to our family and friends.

Our stay with Miriam was absolutely wonderful! Right from the start, the personal welcome made a big difference – Miriam was always available and greeted us in person, which was such a nice and rare touch these days. The apartment is beautifully and lovingly decorated, with so much attention to detail. We were especially impressed to find a thoughtful selection of basics already in the fridge – something you don’t see often! We felt completely at home – it honestly felt just like our own place. Without a doubt, this was the best Airbnb experience we’ve had in over 10 years! Thank you so much, Miriam – we’d love to come back!

By far the best air bnb I’ve stayed in. A totally idyllic place. Spacious and stylish. Stunning view from sun terrace and outdoor dining. Really enjoyed swimming in the cove. So easy to catch ferry to cinque terre and lerici has a lovely harbour and restaurants. Easy drive to pisa. Cannot recommend enough.

This apartment was like a home away from home for several weeks. The location is great, the building and area quiet, the accommodations comfortable and clean. Giulia and Lorenzo are super responsive and helpful with recommendations and advice. A wonderful stay!

Per prima cosa una posizione fantastica, l’appartamento praticamente in spiaggia, svegliarsi e guardare il mare è stato bellissimo. Poi la posizione per raggiungere le mete che ci eravamo prefissati è stata perfetta. L’appartamento molto carino, pulito e Sarà sempre pronta per qualsiasi cosa occorresse.

Een heel mooi appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt. 2 badkamers, woonkamer en 1 slaapkamers allemaal voorzien van airconditioning. Top bedden. Alles was goed aan het huis, ook de plek dichtbij treinstation en 15 min lopen naar strand. Geweldige locatie. Als we ooit weer naar Viareggio gaan, komen we zeker hier terug!! Nous avons passé une excellente semaine chez Miriam et Roberto. L’accueil a été en tout point de vue très satisfaisant. L’appartement est grand, bien agencé et possède tout le comfort nécessaire pour une famille avec un enfant en bas âge. Nous avons été touchés par les nombreuses attentions prévues par les propriétaires afin de nous rendre le séjour le plus agréable possible. L’appartement est très propre avec des meubles et de l’électroménager de bonne qualité. La cuisine est bien équipée et organisée. La situation géographique du logement est avantageuse pour les personnes qui veulent visiter les 5 terres par le train car à 10 minutes à pied de la gare. Petit bonus : l’appartement est situé à côté de l’ascenseur public qui permet d’accéder au quartier piéton de la Spezia. Merci beaucoup à Roberto et Miriam pour avoir contribuer à la réussite de notre séjour.

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 week stay in Helene’s apartment! It was well located and easy to get to shopping, restaurants, groceries, etc. It was also well located for day trips throughout Tuscany - by train and through private tours we booked. Helene was very responsive throughout the entire process. Tania coordinated the details for our arrival. Nicole met us and gave us a quick tour of the apartment as well as recommendations for grocery stores and sightseeing. She was also very responsive to needs and questions we had throughout our stay. We found it to be a very relaxing and inviting place to stay and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in Lucca. Grazie Mille to Helene, Tania and Nicole!

Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo il soggiorno presso Casa Formentale. La casa era esattamente come descritta, pulita, accogliente e curata nei minimi dettagli. Francesca si è dimostrata un'host eccezionale: disponibile, cordiale e attenta, nel rispetto della nostra privacy. La posizione dell'appartamento era ideale per esplorare la zona, e abbiamo apprezzato molto anche i suoi suggerimenti su attività e luoghi da visitare con i bimbi. Consiglio vivamente il suo alloggio a chiunque voglia vivere un'esperienza autentica e piacevole. Speriamo di poter tornare presto!

si vous recherchez du calme, de la bienveillance et de la discrétion vous êtes au bon endroit chez sari et son mari. le logement était co.fortable pour mes 3 filles et moi. Attention nous avons eu beaucoup de moustique mais ça sari n'y peut rien juste pour que vous preniez le nécessaire. je retiens le calme et le décor magique. Gazie Mille Sari 😘

Die Auffahrt ist zwar etwas abenteuerlich, aber es lohnt sich. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt, die Wohnung ist super eingerichtet und hat rin tolles Bad. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend und die Mühe der Auffahrt wert. Der Jacuzzi ist ein besonderes Highlight. Die Nachbarwohnung ist etwas hellhörig, aber ansonsten ist es sehr ruhig und friedlich. Mirella ist unglaublich freundlich und antwortet sehr schnell. Wir können den Gastgeber und die Wohnung wärmstens empfehlen.

Erg mooi appartement , leuk ingericht met een heel groot terras met jacuzzi en mogelijkheid om in schaduw te zitten. Heerlijk om af te koelen na dagtochtjes. Was er heerlijk vertoeven. Bakker, groentewinkels en paar kleine supermarkten in de buurt en oude centrum van Lucca op Loopafstand. Fijne douche en goed bed. Prima airconditioning. Gratis parkeren op paar honderd meter afstand en voor de deur ook mogelijk tegen kosten.

It took a little work to find it, but wow what a reward awaits for those willing to make the effort. Patios with sweeping coastal views surround the entire amazing apartment. If you follow Gianni's instructions, you will get there! My only suggestion would be- bring backpacks or bags you can re-pack and carry from the parking lot if possible. Dragging suitcases along the very narrow/winding path to the apartment was a real challenge. If you are like us, Americans looking to get a taste of Italy away from our fellow countrymen, you couldn't pick a better place than Tellaro. I think we were the only Americans in town for the three days we were there. There are some great beaches nearby, but don't miss swimming off the rocks in town. And if you want to do a day trip to Cinque Terre, don't take the train from La Spezia, take the Cinque Terre boat from Lerici. You'll want to spend time in Porto Venere as well.
