It's less than a 2-minute walk to the sand, making it easy to pop back for a dip in the pool or a movie in the AC before walking back over for sunset.

Our "Quirky" Cottage is just that!! If you want to experience "old Florida" come and stay with us in our quirky cottage nestled in old oak trees! It was originally built in 1960 as a camping cabin, it came in a box as a do it yourself kit! There are a few left around town - really unique and private space! Located just 5-10 minutes from the Okaloosa Island beaches and everything downtown Fort Walton Beach has to offer and just 15 minutes to Destin. (all depending on traffic!)

Come spend a magical vacation with us and enjoy our comfortable cottage on Santa Rosa Sound. Close enough to town, shopping, and beaches, but off the beaten track away from the heavy tourist activity. Although YOU WILL HEAR ROAD NOISE, our nest is a private home next to a shallow beach and boat dock where you can relax along Santa Rosa Sound. The cottage has a complete kitchen, laundry, covered parking, fenced yard, grill, and patio. Life is easy at the ShipAhoy Nest!

Historic Smith House, authentic cottage

Originally built in 1925, our renovation provides all the modern conveniences while maintaining its true southern “old Grayton” charm. Guests love the vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, wood floors, large screened porch, and the vintage Florida decor. We have a 7-night minimum during the Summer, with a Saturday check-in, and 3-night min during most of the year. The maximum number of guests is limited to four (4) persons, including infants and toddlers.

Charming Beach Cottage- with beach service

The cottage is in Maravilla Resort, Miramar Beach, FL. The resort has a 2.5 acre private beach, which is a 5 minute walk from the cottage. The cottage sleeps 10 comfortably. It is located in a quiet street away from the main road to the resort. Maravilla is a low density development of 4- 4 story condo buildings, cottages and a dozen multi-story houses. There is a Smart -Roku TV in every bedroom and living room. The living room TV has HULU.

Palm House is situated on a private residential road. Your private cottage is located on our secluded property in an quiet and quaint neighborhood. Our property is located close to Blue Mountain, Grayton, Seaside and Seagrove Beach. There are 50 public beach accesses along 30-A within 6 miles from our Home.
