Carlo is a great host. Although we had a little bit of a language barrier we managed perfectly and communication was very good. Great place for enjoying the Tuscany flair. We were 7 people staying at his house. Two things to remember (but manageable): There is only one bathroom and the kitchen is fairly small. We had a great time. Thanks again Carlo

one of the best accommodation experiences of all my travels (35 countries). an amazing place in the middle of Tuscany, and not far from the train station. Florence can be reached in 30 minutes by train. It’s more convenient to have a car of course, but even without a car it’s very nice to walk around the neighborhood and get to the train station on foot (1 hour walk from the house). I had health problems during my stay (my knee hurt badly), Barbara and her husband very friendly and kindly offered me their help and gave me a lift several times. Throughout my stay I felt like home, hosts regularly asked me how I was doing and if I needed anything extra. I really want to come back in the summer and live in this beautiful place longer! I can't express how grateful I am for the warm welcome

This small eco sustainable farm is a great place to get away from it all. With views across yellow fields towards the distant hills, the accommodation is spacious and well appointed. We were made to feel very welcome by Barbara and her family, including the exuberant dog!! Highly recommended.

We were hosted very well by Silvana. The listing is in a quiet and peaceful location. Great location for visiting Tuscany (Florence, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa, Siena...). The pool is a real asset in this heat, we were able to enjoy it every day.

What a wonderful place to stay! Traditional, warm, clean and peaceful apartment in the heart of Chianti in Tuscany not far from Sienna and Florence. Many beautiful villages nearby with cosy trattorias. Bernardo was a great welcoming host ensuring we had a pleasant stay, very helpful providing tips and recommendations and of course a great chef... the best dinner we had in Tuscany... don't miss it! Wish we could have a few more days! We' re sooooo glad we chose selvabella for our trip and we definitely love to stay here again!

Beautiful view. The little pool looked really lovely would definitely be good in warmer weather. Not super walkable you should probably have a car . Can catch public transport which comes quite frequently but you have to walk on the side of the main road without pavement to get to the bus stop. Overall a really lovely place to stay if you are looking for something more chilled a little outside Florence!!

Authentic accomodation in a beautiful location and pool in Tuscany. Only 40 min drive to Florence. Had a great stay here.

Veronica's place is wonderful! It is extremely well equipped, comfortable, but most of all the surroundings are beautiful. We've had some magical evenings, listening to the local nightingales singing in the olive groves. Not to be missed :)

I had a wonderful stay in the house. It is located in a place where you can feel the vibe of rural Tuscany. I really enjoyed the traditional, cosy style of the interior and had a browse through some old beautifully illustrated books by candlelight in the evening. During a stroll I discovered an olive garden nearby. I can truly recommend staying at this place :)

We received a very good reception. The host is perfectly polyglot. The setting is sumptuous amid vineyards and olive trees. We also greatly enjoyed the pool in the hot weather. The villa is nicely decorated with tastes.

A lovely spot to escape after the hustle and bustle of Florence. Take the time to drive ten minutes up to Fiesole which has stunning views over Florence and would offer a much better sunset experience than Palazzo Michaelangelo in the city (super crowded).

Beautiful space ,with high-quality repairs and new furniture,everything breathes fresh and clean. The hostess gave detailed check-in instructions, everything was clear and simple(the orientation to the photo is great!) The place met our wishes. To spend time in the countryside ,in such a convenient location, with fresh air,if you are by car is just the best idea for traveling. We will definetly come back!

We were very happy with the place. It was like a small hotel room. There was a picnic basket with dishes and cutlery in the room, as well as a small refrigerator, kettle and coffee machine. Nicely furnished and very clean! ☺️ Had unfortunately seen a little late in the description that the pool will not open until later, but was not an obstacle. In Tuscany there are very nice spas. Directly opposite the property there was the associated restaurant, which was very well visited. Quiet at night was a bit difficult but with the window closed. Outside of opening hours, the place is very quiet! A really nice place in the country and highly recommended! 🌸

Vanessa and her family are adorable and very welcoming . They also offer good advice to guide us in our visits. The Tuscany countryside is beautiful. There is everything in San Donato: restaurant, supermarket, butcher, cafe...within walking distance of the house. Siene , Florence and San Guimignano are not far away. The garden and swimming pool are very nice especially with 2 teenagers aged 13 and 16. Anyway, it was very good. 😀

Accommodation was good. Maria was very supportive. She was very helpful related to check in- check out times. Location is close to tram station. Overall, everything went well, I highly recommend Maria's apartment.
