Apartment vacation rentals in Florence

This is a very central apartment, 15-20 minutes away from all the tourist sights. Cafes and restaurants were only a few minutes away. We really appreciated the early check in and were met by Mikela who showed us around and gave recommendations for great places to eat out at. She also offered to book taxis back to the train station. As described there are a fair few steps to get up to the apartment. But the views are absolutely worth the effort! I’d highly recommend this place if you are in Florence!

Alessandro’s place is the real deal—a true penthouse! In the U.S., “penthouse” sometimes just means top floor, but here it means an apartment with two massive sliding glass doors that open onto a spacious private terrace. We spent afternoons soaking up the sun and evenings relaxing outside after dinner as Florence cooled down—it was perfect. The location is also super convenient, right next to a tram stop that's only three stops from the city center. We had a wonderful time in Florence and would absolutely stay here again!

Caterina’s place was immaculate. She welcomed us and showed us how to use everything and chatted to us about the area. The linen was clean, bathroom was spotless and all the smaller details were provided. I highly recommend this home for someone traveling to Florence. Thank you so much and we will be back!!!!

Delightfully cozy accommodation in a perfect location for all the main city centre sights. Comfortable and peaceful. A true home from home. Breakfast and evening wind down in the courtyard garden surrounded by flowering shrubs and birdsong was a real bonus. Patrizia was the perfect host. Great communication, welcoming, kind and informative.

I was very satisfied with Jacopo's accommodation. Kindness and quick response. Above all, I don't think I'll forget the view of the Duomo and Florence from the terrace. I miss it already.

Patrizia and Gianni were awesome host. Gianni met us to let us in and helped us navigate the area. Patrizia was fantastic and helped us reserve our 5a taxi to airport that showed up right on time. The place was exactly as described and definitely walkable to popular destinations. Lots of good food and shops nearby ! We had no trouble at all and will definitely stay at “In the Heart of Florence” again in future.

Florence, especially in the historic center can be overwhelmed by crowds and noise. How fortunate were we to find Luca's beautiful flat right across the bridge from all the action? The flat itself is spacious, quiet, great a/c, wireless, and the bed was very comfortable - exactly as advertised. She is not kidding about those stairs; it's only 3 flights, but be aware if you have mobility issues. One of the best surprises is the lovely petite plaza just a few steps away where you can get dinner, drinks, and some of the best gelato we had in Italy. If you are a bit crazy and drive to Florence, as we did, there is a great garage nearby where you can make advance reservations for the duration of your stay. Take my advice and park first and make the short walk back to the flat with your baggage; those streets are narrow!!! Perfect stay, friendly host, and a great value. Thank you, Luca.

Please do yourself the favor and book this space immediately. To call the home a palace would be an understatement. As a constant traveler, this is easily the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed at. Perfect view of the Uffizi gallery and river Arno. A 2 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio and many surrounding markets and Osteria’s. Frederico is an amazing host and now a good friend of ours. He accommodated us and was super patient when we were checking out. The home is extremely well curated with beautiful works of arts and sculptures. The living room area is a great big space with giant windows that can be opened and marble bath tub and shower. I will be dreaming of returning to see our friend Frederico in Florence very soon. He has a kind soul and was very warm with us. Side note: our favorite restaurant was the Osteria Toscanella. Only a 5 minute walk from the space. Please tell Tony from the Osteria that Richard and Geraldine from Texas say “Hola”!!! Everyone made us feel at home.

A peaceful spot, very near all the attractions of Florence. Great bed & shower, plus air-con & a washing machine: superb! Supermarket nearby & plenty of places to eat, hang out or just have gelato. Francesco was very responsive & helpful, but not intrusive. All in all, an ideal place to stay in this fabulous city.

Absolutely loved staying at Eugenia’s apartment. Centrally located with a great amount of things to do nearby. Will stay there again, next time in Florence.

We had a great stay here. The apartment is remarkably quiet but also so accessible and walkable to all the restaurants and ships in historic district. Apartment was spotless and had all modern appliances and fixtures. Bed was super comfy and Romina was so helpful with recommendations and arrangements. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lola’s place was great, and an easy walk to everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful when we wanted to get away from all the tourists. Lola was also the best host we’ve experienced thru AirBNB. She took care of a minor problem immediately and was always checking on us and giving us good recommendations. Highly recommend her place.

Fabulous apartment, as described. Very clean, great views from the terrace, comfortable surroundings. Plenty of kitchen equipment to make food. Very clean and modern, although characterful space. Would happily stay again 😀

We really enjoyed our stay at Cossimo’s. He and Francesca were so welcoming and kind. They answered every question we had and were even kind enough to let us check in a bit early- so so appreciated because we hadn’t slept in nearly 30 hours. Highly recommend!

Our stay at this beautiful apartment was nothing short of a dream. It was perfect for my partner and I. The location was walkable to the city center and the hosts were so friendly, giving us so many great recommendations. The apartment itself was perfect for two people and very clean. Hopefully I get to return to Florence soon, and if I do I will make sure to stay here again.

This apartment is located in a great location. If you love the book “Room with a View”, you are located overlooking Santa Croce! Getting up the staircase with heavy luggage is a good workout but well worth the effort. The host was very helpful, promptly providing recommendations to local places.

This was the perfect place to stay! Just minutes to the bridge leading to city center along with some fun spots right outside the door. Lots of steps but WORTH IT! The view from the terrace was great and the apartment itself was better than we could’ve asked for! Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone else planning a trip to Florence!

Very nice and clean apartment as shown in the pictures. It is centrally located and everything is within walking distance. It is on the third floor without an elevator, so you should be prepared to carry your luggage. The kitchen is quite small, if you are only there briefly like us and use it little, that's not a problem. However, cooking a lot could be difficult there. Hosts were very responsive and super easy to reach. All in all highly recommended!

We had the most amazing stay at Sibilla's apartment! It is STUNNINGLY decorated and almost makes it feel like you are staying in the Medici Chapel itself. The apartment had everything we needed, and the plant room/ sunroom was glorious to enjoy in the mornings/returning after a day's exploring. We met both Niccolo and Sibilia and both were so friendly and helpful. The area surrounding the apartment is perfect, with central Florence being a 20 minute walk away, and the restaurants/shops/wine bars of Santo Spirito being literally on your doorstep. This is the most enjoyable Air BnB we have ever stayed in, and would come back in a heartbeat! Grazie mille!!

Alessandro's apartment was absolutely fantastic - clean, well equipped, quiet and so close to all the amenities. Pasquale - Alessandro's brother-in-law - met us at the apartment to check us in personally. He was thorough in going over all the amenities in the apartment and was kind enough to stock the refrigerator with both still and sparkling water as well as a bottle of prosecco. There were also Nespresso pods and tea provided which we took advantage of along with cornetos and sfogliatella purchased from Madeleine and Gino's Bakery - both within minutes of the apartment. Also so convenient to have an extensive supermarket as well as an awesome gelataria just below the apartment. Pasquale also sent over restaurant recommendations and was kind enough to book a taxi for our departure. Alessandro's apartment is a definite 5 star property that comes with 5 star service from both himself and Pasquale. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Florence!
