Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Fishhook

My family met up for the first time in 8 years for mama’s 50th birthday and this place came through. It’s clean, very homey, welcoming with the welcome Jamie & family SIGN, WIFI INFORMATION ETC. There was a little playground in the back of the house kids enjoyed very much. The Boys enjoyed the hot tub and bonfire AS WELL. The space FELT LIKE HOME and mama was very VERY happy. Very clean and easy to navigate. Love a lot of beds available for family sleepover, lots of towels, blankets, pillows etc. Altogether, THE BEST-We will definitely book with them again. THANK YOU.

We recently took our family on a vacation to Alaska, and staying at Heather’s place truly made the trip unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the breathtaking views that surrounded the property. The house itself was a dream- beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The fully stocked kitchen made preparing meals a breeze, and the cozy bedrooms offered perfect sleeping accommodations for our family of five. One of the highlights of our stay was the unique, Alaska-inspired decor throughout the house. There were so many adorable knickknacks and pieces of local art that made us feel like we were really immersed in the beauty and spirit of Alaska. It was clear that Heather put a lot of thought into creating a authentic, cozy atmosphere. Heather’s hospitality went above and beyond. She was incredibly helpful during our stay and provided us with tips about things to do in the area.We couldn’t have asked for a better host or a better place to stay. We will be back!

Our stay was peaceful and we felt safe and at home. Camden provided easy to follow directions, as well as information about the cabin and surrounding property. The cabin was clean and well supplied. The area was absolutely beautiful! We will definitely return.

Overall an awesome experience. I forgot to reach out and see if we could check in a little early, since our flight landed around 1, and as soon as the plane hit ground they’d already reached out & asked when we’d be checking in. They pulled the grill out of the way when wind warnings got super high, and even reached out when we forgot a jacket & offered to mail it. Luckily, we hadn’t left town yet & they put it on the grill outside for an easy pickup. They offered to let us stay longer if needed, since we were in town for a family emergency, just overall a nice place & really good people. 10/10 would recommend.

Shi’s place was central to where we needed to go for our trip to Alaska. We enjoyed coming “home” after long days and having a great kitchen to cook in. Loved that there were a lot of toys for the kids and kid friendly dishes. We did not get to spend anytime outside on the beautiful deck or the fire pit but definitely next time we go!

We stayed for two nights but Angela’s place felt just like home! Very comfortable and everything thought out for guests, from waffle mix with instructions down to a mint chocolate at every bedside. Everything was so clean. The kids really loved the snack bar, and the coffee selection was an added bonus! Thank you Angela and Brian for hosting us.

Enjoyed this home with grandparents and hockey kids. Plenty of room, comfortable beds and upstairs loft area for young people to play games and have their own space. Big open kitchen & dining was great for family meals. Good location with a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. Thank you Heather!

Matthew’s place was very clean and comfortable. It was located in a nice quiet neighborhood and felt very private. The place is much larger than it appears in the photos. The kitchen is fully stocked and very usable. We were very comfortable in it and loved all the offered amenities.

Wonderful place to stay. It is very comfortable, peaceful and very centrally located for activities in Anchorage, Willow, Palmer and Wasilla. We enjoyed ice fishing in Wasilla, and Northern lights in Willow.

Brandy's place was easy to find with easy instructions to get in. The sleeping areas were just what we needed: a double bed for my son and daughter-in-law and a cozy single bed for me. Both were very comfortable. We enjoyed the large screen TV and washer/dryer. There was plenty of room for us. The bathroom was very clean and amply supplied with toiletries. We had a bit of trouble at first with Wi-Fi but Brandy was very quick to rectify that. Parking was great, right next to stairs leading to our quarters. The location was very close to restaurants and routes to things to see and do. Also, we enjoyed interacting with the chickens :) Certainly peaceful surroundings with nice views. Would certainly stay there again!!

This cozy efficency suite was just what I needed as a place to sleep and unwind. It was just a few minutes from where I needed to be and was very convenient. There were clear instructions with photos which made check in easy.

It's a very beautiful place, made me feel at home. Had everything I need to cook with. Very clean and updated . Enjoyed the surroundings very beautiful. I am so greatful for the host being understanding and letting us stay after the checkout time because our flights are at night. We will be back. Really enjoyed this Airbnb. Thankyou Stephanie.

Peaceful and very little noise even though it’s an apartment in the lower level of the Host's house. The fresh eggs were a delicious treat along with the local coffee and tea provided. They also offer a few local items for purchase. This place is close to Hatchers pass which is fabulous for the outdoor enthusiasts. Highly recommend!

Great location both Brad and his wife were very helpful giving us great suggestions fir things ti do while we were there.

We’ve stayed here in mid-AK winter and now in spring. Love the deck and access to lawn and lake, great view and does not feel like we’re in the city, yet it is and location is perfect for easy access to local establishments. Place is super clean and one of the few places I’ve stayed that has everything a traveler could need.
