Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Fishhook

This is one of the most well stocked rentals our family has stayed at. They had everything you need to cook (tons of plates and cutlery, spices, pot & pans,etc) and relax (towels, extra pillows, blankets, bathroom essentials). We felt like it was home away from home. The house was clean, well stocked and in a safe and beautiful location. Highly recommend for families traveling to Wasilla. Beds and sheets were super comfortable as well!

Wonderful cabin in Eagle River, perfect for a group getaway! The house is super cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Hot tub and pool table were a big hit for our group of 10. We especially loved turning off the lights at night and watching the moon through the huge panoramic windows — such a peaceful experience! We were hoping to catch the Northern Lights, but even without them, the view was magical. Linens and towels were spotless and smelled great. All amenities worked perfectly. The cabin has a beautiful rustic feel with high ceilings, wood interiors, and a warm dining space for meals and games. The small touches like the Christmas tree made it feel extra homey. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax, unwind, and be close to nature while still having all the comforts of home!

Love staying at JD’s place, always my go-to when I visit the area! The location is private and close to multiple trails.

I loved the place from the moment I arrived I drove from Anchorage to stay in this beautiful two-story cabin hosted by Carrie and Kale they are two wonderful host although I was only able to meet Carrie, they were both very helpful in providing information regarding every aspect of the location and details of the cabin they had available. I must say this place has tons of character and history we will be staying again. I wish that I would be able to meet Kale as he sounds positive and friendly. this location is great as you can bring the family including pets. they have tons of firewood and extra space to bunk more travelers. if you are in town this place is a great place to check!

My family and I loved our stay in Rebecca’s home. The location remote enough to get peace and quiet, but close enough to town to get necessities and visit local restaurants/breweries. Beautiful scenery all around, most specifically the huge mountains. The property is very large, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen is stocked with basic needs and more. The beds are the most comfortable Air Bnb beds I’ve ever slept in. Plenty of blankets and heaters inside if needed. The hot tub was ready and easy to use and was a huge highlight. Rebecca was kind, accommodating, and very responsive. Communication was smooth and all my questions were answered. My four kids of varying ages all loved the property, and making s’mores in the fire pit was another highlight. Checking in and out was also seamless. The cleanup requirements are very reasonable and much like any other high quality air bnb I’ve ever stayed in. I would recommend this property to anyone!

Enjoyed this home with grandparents and hockey kids. Plenty of room, comfortable beds and upstairs loft area for young people to play games and have their own space. Big open kitchen & dining was great for family meals. Good location with a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. Thank you Heather!

Great stay! The house and the view were amazing! The host was very responsive and helpful! I would have liked more clear instructions on the heater! It took a while to figure out ! I would stay again !

Great place to stay! We visited from NJ to meet our 1st granddaughter and this was the perfect place. Easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. Ryan was quick to respond when the wifi went out and that was our only incident if you’d even call it that. This looks just like the pics! The couch/pull out is so comfy and the tv is amazing for movie night! The kitchen had mostly everything we needed to make meals for the week. The shower pressure was perfect especially after traveling all day and hiking. There are other units in the building but it was very quiet. Highly recommend this spot in Eagle River! Also check out Thunderbird Falls, you won’t be disappointed

Loved staying here! Gorgeous views, easily accessible, quiet, and peaceful.

Apartment was exactly as the pictures portrayed. Brandy and her husband were friendly and answered any questions we had. The parking was right in front of the door which was great for my wife who walks with a cane. It was also nice being able to park under a carport which came in handy when it was raining the day we were loading our truck to leave.

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

I had a great stay at Meaghan's place. Be sure to note the section in Meaghan's description where she mentions that there are young children in the house above the apartment. If you are noise sensitive, this might not be the place for you as there was quite a bit of bumping going on during daytime hours, but that is to be expected with young kids in the house, possibly on a rainy day. In my case, I just popped in my ear buds and I was fine. :) The apartment was exactly what I needed, and it was nice to be able to do my laundry and to get cleaned up before heading back out on the road. Comfy bed, full kitchen, keypad access, good wifi, giant TV...everything you could wish for. Highly recommended!
