Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Enjoy the hot tub, collect fresh chicken eggs, and breathe forest air!

Our 2021 constructed craftsmen cottage is nestled in the woods but very close to Palmer. This is a quiet 8 acre parcel but only 5 minutes from breweries, shops and restaurants in downtown Palmer. Close to Hatcher Pass, Independence Mine, Glaciers, Hiking, Musk Ox and Reindeer farms. The owner's house is also on the property and they are available to you throughout your stay. The owners have lived in Alaska for over 40 years and are committed to helping you with all there is to experience!

There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, as well as a wood burning cedar sauna. Though we ask that you request/message before using it. Want pets? Your private “sweet" is through the home's shared entry. The house is 5.1 miles from ANC airport (13 min by car or approx $20-$22 Uber/Lyft/taxi). Fred Meyer grocery is .7 mile away (15 min walk); Costco is 1.7 miles. Behind your interior “front door” is your Queen bed; TV room; kitchenette; and bathroom with tiled walk-in shower and the best backside feature ever: heated bidet toilet. I live and work upstairs. There's plenty of space for all.
