We had such a great stay! The property was perfect for our family getaway—our kids especially loved the trampoline and the hot tub (they barely wanted to come inside!). Our Doberman, Lincoln, had the best time playing fetch in the large open space—it was such a treat to find a spot that’s truly dog-friendly. Melissa was a delightful host—super responsive and thoughtful. She even set up a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to find hidden gnomes around the property, which they absolutely loved. It’s little touches like that that made our stay really special. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!

This is my second stay at the historic mansion. I wrote a glowing review on my previous stay and our current stay did not disappoint. If you are looking for a high end AirBNB this is the place. Accommodations as in our prior visit were excellent, beddings were very comfortable and the home itself is well laid out and roomy. Sue our host was kind enough to provide plenty of firewood so we could avail ourselves to the outdoor fire pit where we were able to roast marshmallows for the young ones. Sue also contacted me and advised the home was ready for check in at an earlier time making our check in much more convenient. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Yuba City.

The campervan was even better than the pictures! Set in the magical Tahoe National Forest, we especially loved the welcome from the three friendly dogs and a cat on the property :) The well-equipped kitchen, variety of coffee, cozy firepit, and the hot tub under the stars made the stay unforgettable. Michelle, the host, was wonderful and welcoming—highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property with our large family. There were plenty of activities for the kids and the host was incredibly accommodating, hospitable, and easy to reach. A couple of things to note: there is a large wooden staircase separating the house which made it a bit tricky with the real little ones and one of the full-size beds is in an open space without a door. These weren’t issues for us but might be worth considering for others. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and we’re so grateful to the host for their kindness and attentiveness!

This house is in a beautiful area and peaceful neighborhood. The house felt so large and open. You have an incredible view from most rooms in the home. The backyard was our favorite - there is so many activities available, along with a waterfront view. We saw multiple bald eagles and a baby deer right in the yard. The master bathroom is luxurious and the shower/bath is unmatched!! We plan on booking this stay again in the future and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

It truly was a magical place to stay. It felt like our own little slice of farm life and the views of the pond and waterfowl were spectacular. If you are need of some time away from the hustle and bustle but don’t want to travel for away from the Sacramento area this is a perfect option for a staycation. The apartment was comfy and stylish. We enjoyed the artwork, the supply of KCups for the KEURIG, and the turntable and albums. A real treat was meeting the hosts dogs, Rocky and Lily. The apartment is in a good location close to town. The hosts were very accomodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The outdoor seating area was a nice place to enjoy a glass of wine and soak in fresh air and late afternoon sun. A good home away spot for a visit to the area.
