Tom was the most gracious host one could ask for. From booking to checkout, Tom made himself available for any and all questions. He provided some insights about finding the house and tips on maneuvering onto the property. He personally met me and my family at check-in, provided us some insights on the property and the area, and helped with access to the lake. The house and grounds are immaculate. Clean, well stocked kitchen, and fresh linens. The property has everything you could ask for with lake, pool and hot tub access. . The private setting is the ultimate topping on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to connecting with Tom for future trips!

Catherine stands out as a host who feels a special connection to the home she shares on Airbnb. She clearly loves the place and is invested in the best possible outcome for everyone. It's more than just a business to her. We did some cooking and baking in the kitchen and felt wowed by how well stocked the kitchen is. It had everything we needed and then some. The home maintains the charm of its history, which we loved. Downtown Grass Valley is so, so nice, and it's just a short walk from A Victorian Rose. I especially appreciated Catherine's recommendation of Caroline's Cafe. That's our kind of cafe, top to bottom. We visited at least four times! Grass Valley itself is such a lovely destination. Five stars all around!

This property is a literal slice of heaven. It's so peaceful and magical and feels worlds away when only being a few minutes to town. The house was one of the most comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in – and we have stayed in many! Our whole family enjoyed it. Great for adults, kids and lots of room for your dog run and explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Gil's Grass Valley home is PERFECTION. Truly a character home with magic in every corner: a creek in the backyard, badminton, ping pong, hot tub, huge projector for TV, lot's of comfortable bedrooms, and a rope swing in the kitchen! We had a great month staying at this home and enjoyed the quick walk into Grass Valley, and amazing proximity to Nevada City. It comfortably accommodates guests and feels spacious. Thank you so much Gil and Family for a great month :) We can't wait to visit again!

Peggy was a wonderful host. Great location, short walk to downtown and near to hiking trails. Fantastic private back yard to relax in. Very comfortable and clean unit and we appreciated the extra attention to detail and care that Peggy put into her place. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again. What a paradise this place is! So peaceful and idyllic. The sauna and hot tub area was the highlight of the stay. And we loved getting body treatments from Shari and Mia!

House was large and could accommodate a large group, in a good location, right by grocery store, coffee shops, and places to eat! Neighborhood was nice, and the house was fairly priced for the space and amount of guests it can accommodate, thank you!

Lynne and her husband and her dogs received us with open arms. They took time out of their day to get to know us a little and even introduced us around the property. Lynne was very helpful in explaining the amenities in the room and how to use everything. She was also helpful in recommending a few places to go around and explore. She had recommended us to go visit a tulip garden and it was without a doubt a very beautiful spot. A very cinematic and safe experience. We will back in the future! we will return! Constant communication and Racj=hel went out of her way to have us check in early as we arrived sooner than we anticipated. The house is perfect! We have a small dog, there were dog covers, a fenced yard (with pooper scooper), a sweet fireplace, a footed bathtub, and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen and lots of towels and great sheets. We really loved this place and it would be great for 2 couples and/or a family. Great for dog people.

This was our second stay in the Inkling and it was just as comfortable as last time. This place is so well located to downtown and for getting out and exploring the surrounding area - which we did.

Adorable home in the heart of Nevada City. Perfect for a short girls trip while visiting my aunt who is a longtime resident of Nevada City and also celebrating her birthday. The decor is right up our alley. We have driven by this place so many times, wanting to stay the night and it finally happened. Host is very proactive with emails and instructions. We hope to stay at her other location in the future as that is our other frequent vacation destination.

Donna was super responsive and helpful and the place was incredibly comfortable, clean, well stocked and beautiful. I would 100% stay here again. It has everything you need and is so peaceful and quiet but close to town!

Wonderful experience all around. Beginning to end Mary was totally professional, very quick responding and very friendly as well. The three ponds on property were a continuous natue display. We were entertained by numerous families of geese with numerous goslings. Such a show. House was very cozy and comfotable. kitchen might be a little hard to work in if you are an unorganized cook. We did fine with four adults of course we had two great cooks. Beds were very comfortable. I've been using Airbnb all over the country for many years. To me this was a real find and also more reasonble as far as cost goes. Give it a try, you can thank me later for your nice experience

Very nice and accommodating host.

The place was cute, bright, and clean. If you like a firmer mattress, you’ll likely struggle—we found the mattress way too soft. I’d echo what the other reviewers said about the sound carrying from upstairs. Make sure you spend a little while sitting on the couch if the lavender is in bloom as there is a hummingbird into the lavender nectar. We saw it several times during our stay!

Second time we stayed at Casi's place. It's the perfect getaway in nature while still being 5 minutes to Nevada City

Stayed here with a group of friends - lots of beds so we each got our own, which is rare. The house was well stocked - kitchen, towels, etc. We enjoyed using the indoor/grotto hot tub. Cute shops & restaurants in the area (15-20ish mins). Thanks for a great stay!

We had an amazing experience at the cabin. The views were breath taking and it truly made for a relaxing weekend. It was very kid friendly and there was so much to do related to being outdoors. The hosts were very accommodating. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

I rented Don and Kathy’s home to throw a baby shower. Keep in mind there is an event fee if you’ll have guests joining for the day, but it was very reasonable, especially for everything this house and our hosts gave us in return. There was so much open green space, greenhouse was more spacious and beautiful than what it looked like in the photos, and you can tell they put a lot of love and care into this family home. It was very clean and guest ready, but you can tell people actually live here and IMO it felt made it feel warmer compared to company owned Airbnbs that feel sterile. When they say their kitchen is fully stocked, they mean FULLY stocked. Don and Kathy are excellent hosts as well - they were so responsive and responded personally to all our messages and very quickly. When you get close the roads are not lit, so for some it might be a little scary to navigate in the dark. Just drive slow and once you get to where GPS drops you off it’s easy to see the house from the road!

This was a peak experience staying at this beautiful historic home and expansive property. Kathleen couldn’t have been more helpful and warm before and during our magical stay. There is so much to do on the property that you won’t want to leave. The heated pool was awesome even in Feb and we played with all the games in the garage on the courts too. We picked fresh citrus from the orchard and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We were 15 guests who stayed overnight and everyone had a bed, but there is much more room for additional guests beyond what we had. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the beds so comfortable. She and her team have really thought of everything! We will not hesitate to go back for another family gathering soon!

Perfect base for visiting Sacramento and surrounding areas. Accommodation was excellent and was perfect for what we required. Close to local amenities and restaurants. We would recommend staying here.

We had a awesome time, our host provided great communication and the house was exactly what we hoped for. The weather was hot and the pool was the perfect, AC was cold for when we couldn't be in the pool. Fun to play pool, chess, cards and watch movies in the theatre room. Great kitchen with everything you need. Thank you for having us.

We had a fantastic stay! The hosts were very welcoming (we loved the fresh eggs!) and we enjoyed the pool and outdoor cooking. Stargazing was incredible as well. Highly recommend

No words to describe how absolutely thoughtful in every way Heather’s home is. Down to the tiniest detail. She had everything you could need or want and more! I can’t wait to go back. Absolutely beautiful. My version of a Barbie dream home! ♥️
