Tom was the most gracious host one could ask for. From booking to checkout, Tom made himself available for any and all questions. He provided some insights about finding the house and tips on maneuvering onto the property. He personally met me and my family at check-in, provided us some insights on the property and the area, and helped with access to the lake. The house and grounds are immaculate. Clean, well stocked kitchen, and fresh linens. The property has everything you could ask for with lake, pool and hot tub access. . The private setting is the ultimate topping on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to connecting with Tom for future trips!

Desiree went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. Traveling with an infant is never easy and she truly went over the top for us. Pack and play was set up when we arrived and there were snacks, play mat, and new toy for him. She was so easy to communicate with throughout the whole weekend and so thoughtful.

Our family of 10- 6 adults, 3 under 4 and an infant enjoyed Catherine's amazing place. She was great answering my questions and always available, the gathering areas were large and accommodated all of us. The adults enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch and the kids loved the toy and book area under a gable on the 2nd floor. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. A Victorian Rose is so close to the downtown and everywhere we needed to be for our Nephews wedding. Thanks Catherine for hosting us!

This property is a literal slice of heaven. It's so peaceful and magical and feels worlds away when only being a few minutes to town. The house was one of the most comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in – and we have stayed in many! Our whole family enjoyed it. Great for adults, kids and lots of room for your dog run and explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Gil's Grass Valley home is PERFECTION. Truly a character home with magic in every corner: a creek in the backyard, badminton, ping pong, hot tub, huge projector for TV, lot's of comfortable bedrooms, and a rope swing in the kitchen! We had a great month staying at this home and enjoyed the quick walk into Grass Valley, and amazing proximity to Nevada City. It comfortably accommodates guests and feels spacious. Thank you so much Gil and Family for a great month :) We can't wait to visit again!

#2 One of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at! Peggy was a gracious and thoughtful host—she greeted us on arrival, showed us around, and stayed in touch throughout our stay. We brought our puppy and arranged a sitter for the wedding weekend, but Peggy even helped cover a gap and let our pup play with her dog when the sitter had to run out. The fenced yard, private entrance, and peaceful setting made it the most dog-friendly trip we’ve ever had. The home was spotless, the bed and couch were super comfy, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub and on the patio. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the location couldn’t be better—an easy 10-minute walk into charming downtown Nevada City for dinner and breakfast. 10/10—would absolutely stay again!

This was our third time staying here. It’s a lovely area, with beautiful trees over the hot tub. It is like a little house that has everything you need in it.

Rachel’s place was great, and Rachel was very accommodating and easy to work with and communicate with. It’s a cute place and very well stocked. The AC works great. The beds are comfortable. I would certainly stay here again.

Adorable home in the heart of Nevada City. Perfect for a short girls trip while visiting my aunt who is a longtime resident of Nevada City and also celebrating her birthday. The decor is right up our alley. We have driven by this place so many times, wanting to stay the night and it finally happened. Host is very proactive with emails and instructions. We hope to stay at her other location in the future as that is our other frequent vacation destination.

Paula’s place is great! It’s really nice and the pictures don’t do it justice. The serene landscape, farm animals, and sweet antique decor make it feel like an escape to grandmas house! Complete with a sweet snack upon arrival.

This country cottage is centrally located in a peaceful location at the end of a private road. With access to the wine and ale trail as well as the venue for concerts and a farmers market down the road, there was lots to do. We loved the creek and welcoming touches the hosts provided and appreciated their friendly and prompt communication as well as accommodating an earlier check in for us. Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing stay at your property.

The cabin was amazing. Just outside of town and on a private pond. They have a summer camp across the pond. You hear cheerful kids playing and the serene landscape of the ca foothills. Truly a great place to stay.

Our family stayed at Casi’s home for a wedding weekend and was GREAT! Highly recommended to all! House was Comfortable, had all necessary essentials to make family meals, was roomy, clean, private and enjoyable. Will definitely stay again when in area again! Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! The location is serene, surrounded by tall trees, wildlife and beautiful stars. The fireplace is so toasty and makes the small space very cozy. We needed to contact the host during our visit and Nikita responded immediately with solutions to our needs. The main house is visible from the front door but the occupants are quiet and the cabin still felt secluded. Oregon House is very rural but the cafe and grocery store 5 minutes away have everything you will need. I highly recommend staying here if you want to get away and unwind from the world!

Home was perfect for my small family with kiddos. Safe, clean and relaxing. Made use of the BBQ and the well stocked kitchen every night. Home was as advertised and the host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. I would book with this host again.

We recently stayed at Don and Kathy’s beautiful home for our son’s wedding weekend and it was absolutely magical. Don and Kathy were incredibly hospitable, always easy to reach, and made us feel so welcome. The home itself is stunning—truly something to experience. The home is well-appointed and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style for a truly relaxing stay. The surroundings felt straight out of a Hallmark movie, with autumn leaves falling and twinkling Christmas lights creating a festive atmosphere. It was cozy, inviting, and felt just like home. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property! There was plenty of space for our entire wedding party, and it was spotless when we arrived. Kathleen was an incredible host — so helpful, responsive, and flexible throughout the whole process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The property itself is truly unique, with so many interesting historical decorations that gave it so much charm and character. We also loved taking advantage of all the activities available on-site, which made for an unforgettable experience. We had a awesome time, our host provided great communication and the house was exactly what we hoped for. The weather was hot and the pool was the perfect, AC was cold for when we couldn't be in the pool. Fun to play pool, chess, cards and watch movies in the theatre room. Omgosh this place is so cute. I came in town to visit family by myself and I felt very safe. I used the pool everyday. I will for sure be back. Very nice and helpful host.
