Lovely, well-furnished apartment with ample space for the 5 of us in a convenient location from the main attractions. It was quiet in the evenings during the time we stayed there too. Would stay again if we are ever back in Istanbul. Thanks for having us!

The room is as shown in the pictures. It was comfortable and with good dimensions. The bathroom was also comfortable and the water pressure was good. Being a room on the street, you could hear some noise from pedestrians, but nothing to be alarmed about. Check-in was flexible and the guys at the front desk were very friendly. I highly recommend this place!

We loved staying at Cinar’s apartment situated in a quiet street very close to the Galata Tower. The lift was a bonus and a supermarket was five doors up. The apartment was beautifully presented with a very comfortable bed. Cinar responded immediately to any queries and organised a lift to the airport. We would highly recommend staying here when visiting Istanbul.

An elevator space features sleek, mirrored walls and polished surfaces, reflecting the overhead lighting. A staircase can be seen at the end of the corridor, leading to the upper levels of the building.

Hasan's employee was available day and night (probably he doesn't rest at all), and was very helpful. The beds are hard, which is good for some people but not for everyone. Really close to the metro station and buses, really easy to get there from the airport, just one havabus.

This ground floor apartment ( 1st floor for we Americans) was perfect for my stay. This place was within minutes walking to all the cafes, restaurants and shops. And to the side of the apartment is where everyone goes to take pictures of all the beautiful popular colorful buildings that make Balat so iconic. They film many Turkish Tv Series and films in the area for its old charm. The host was amazing. She gave a me a tour of the village and she definitely knows her history and Balat very well. She will give you the best recommendations of places to eat and coffee shops that serve worldwide award winning coffees. As a coffee lover I appreciated that. The place is a very beautiful unique historical apartment building. Very cozy place for me (solo traveler) to stay. If and when I return to istanbul I will definitely stay at this building again. Next time I want to try the apartment at the very top floor :-).

Hasan was very helpful with directions to places I was going. The place is in a hotel. It was warm with the heater on cool nights. I did not cook but there’s an electric portable stove. The elevator doesn’t go all the way up to my floor but I love taking stairs and walking as my exercise. Shower had hot water. Place is close to center and many places to shop and eat. Close to Taxsim square, bus station and metro.

I want to give 5 stars to the owner for his hospitality. Everything was great.We stayed at the hotel for a week. The owner tried to do everything to make us comfortable staying in his hotel.

The host was super super nice. He showed us around and offered ua 2 keys and also offered help at anytime. We had an issue with one of the keys but he sent security immediately to help us. He offered help with transportation too. And guided us to how to walk all the way to taksim. The apartment was spacious and super clean. The pillows and the bed were so comfy too. Everything was so good honestly.

Tamay's home is in an excellent location. It's very spacious, but the lighting in the bathroom is very dim. The Host did not leave a broom or dustpan for us to use, so we were unable to adequately clean the floors. The flat has several parks in close proximity.
