Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Eyjafjörður

We had a great 3 day stay at Sveinns place in Akureyri and used it as a base camp for daytrips in the area/region. We were 3 adults and found the place spacious and clean with comfortable beds and large bathroom. Large kitchen with all the things we needed for our stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood 5-8 min driving from downtown Akureyri. There are grocery stores not so far from the house. We can strongly recommend this place.

Lovely relaxed stay. Had everything our group of six needed. Loved cooking in the kitchen. Beds were great and the bathroom exquisite.

Beautiful location - plus we were lucky enough to see northern lights right there! Place was as described, very comfortable, easy drive to downtown Akureyri. We had a wonderful time - thank you!

Gehobene Ausstattung, Kleinigkeiten leider defekt. EineTerassentüre konnte man nicht öffnen war mit Hinweisschild markiert. Fernseher im Wohnzimmer funktioniert nicht. Ist uns aber nicht abgegangen. Im Badezimmer die Beleuchtung für den Spiegel ließ sich nicht anschalten. Wäre das alles ok gewesen, 5 Sterne, so nur 4 Sterne. Mit der Bewertung haben wir uns an der sehr gehobenen Ausstattung orientiert, da erwartet man dann, dass auch alles funktioniert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen. Gerade der Außenpool war wunderschön. Auf Fragen wurden innerhalb kurzer Zeit geantwortet.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön. Tolles Haus mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten. Gefühlt schon sehr privat weil man sehr merkt dass das Haus bewohnt wird und mit liebe eingerichtet ist. Whirlpool war leider ohne Funktion, ein Ersatz stand in der Garage, was okay war, aber nicht wirklich ein Ersatz. Auffahrt war gut geräumt und der Gastgeber sehr nett mit süßen Hunden. Ein Allrad Fahrzeug ist im Winter zu empfehlen um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen.

La maison était juste parfaite pour notre groupe, les chambres sont spacieuses, la cuisine est très bien équipé avec tous les ustensiles utiles pour cuisiner. Le Jacuzzi est top!! On a adoré merci 🙏

The place was beautiful and the view from the place was even better. Couldn’t recommend enough, we loved our stay! The valley helped with cloud coverage and we were able to see the northern lights from our hot tub!

Wij hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad mede dankzij deze mooie accommodatie. Het is een beetje afgelegen t.o.v. Akureyri; wat ook duidelijk op de kaart te zien is. Maar met een huurauto ben je binnen 10 minuten in het centrum én kun je alle kanten op. Wij zouden deze fijne plek zeker aanraden aan anderen!

We really enjoyed staying here. The views are fantastic , lovely hot tub too. We booked whale watching and also drove out to myvatn, and stopped at lots of features along the way. It was all really easy from the house.

By far one of my favorite places we’ve stayed. The decor and design of this location is amazing. Everything was pristine and perfectly clean. The heated floors and hot tub were awesome. We really loved this location. We will be back.

Hier kommt man an, wird persönlich begrüßt und fühlt sich gleich wohl. Das Haus ist sehr stylisch eingerichtet, mit vielen quirky und liebevollen Details und es gibt viel Platz. Highlight ist jedoch Haraldurs Garten mit zwei Hot Tubs und Goldfischteich.

Une des meilleures guesthouse de notre voyage. Accueil chaleureux avec visite de la maison par les hôtes. La guesthouse est grande et agréable avec des chambres thématiques décorées avec soin. Les lits sont très grands et très confortables. La cuisine est bien équipée et donne sur une terrasse avec jacuzzi. Il y a deux frigos pour les voyageurs avec des caisses de rangement en fonction des chambres. On se sent comme à la maison dans cette guesthouse 🙂

Wir hatten hier eine willkommene Auszeit während unserer intensiven Island-Reise. Am Kaminfeuer sitzen und den Wellen zuschauen. Fur Uns hat es nichts anderes gebraucht. Wir haben die Ruhe und Landschaft sehr genossen. Zuleyma hat uns die Schafe gezeigt und war sehr freundlich und liebenswert. Diese Unterkunft ist eine absolute Empfehlung. Für Paare, Familien und Gruppen geeignet.

We felt right at home in Madara's place and she was such a wonderful host, even cleaning the unit quickly so that we could check-in early and offering a late checkout since there were no guests after us. The geothermal hot tub with gorgeous mountain views was such a treat and the place was better stocked than most with tons of board games and also coloring for the kids. The beds were comfy and the design and furnishings were top notch. Would love to return to Madara's place again in the future.

Very nice and tidy accomodation, excellent to make daytrips to Myvatn or Husavik. Bathroom is a bit small. The family helped us with the hot pot that was quite nice.

We had a wonderful holiday at Sara's house. The house is warm, cosy and spacious, and the view and surroundings are spectacular. Sara was very communicative and helpful throughout.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The area was beautiful and not too far away from some great waterfalls and lovely walks. Our host were very responsive and had some great ideas and recommendations. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage!

Beautiful modern space that made us feel right at home. We loved that everything came with the place (towels, bags for wet swimsuits, car charging station, hot tub, etc.) Response time was immediate and super quick.

After we had been looking forward to staying in Heiðas cabin for so long, we just fell in love with it even more from the very moment we arrived. What a gem <3 Aparts from being perfectly clean and well-equipped, the cabin simply just spread such charme and warmth that it was the best possible place we could have returned to after long days of exploration and adventure. Heiða, you are a wonderful host and we would love to come back. Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful house <3

We felt like home the first minute we entered the house. It's very warm, cosy and there was everything we need. The host surprised us with a few Icelandic chocolate bars as a welcome gift. The hot tub experience was also amazing. I totally recommend it, it was perfect 👌
