Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Eyjafjörður

We loved our stay in this charming house full of history, the furniture, the decor, even the plates, and all the other details, combining it with the function of a modern working kitchen. It’s an experience like no other. The local bakery is a 3 minute walk and a grocery five mins way. Our family of five was very comfortable in this spacious home located in a quiet neighborhood. We felt very fortunate to stay in such a place.

A computer glitch deleted our original pre-paid booking at a place which we reserved 5 months prior in Blönduós, and we were scrambling to find lodging. Fortunately, Gunnar was able to accommodate us last-minute at his recently renovated historical home in Sauðárkrókur. The kitchen has modern appliances and the twin mattresses were high quality and comfortable. The house is located walking distance from local restaurants and I enjoyed looking at the fjord from the windows.

The house was in a great location and had access to a lot of attractions in either direction. In particular, Alejandro himself was the highlight of the stay—he helped us with the real local travel advice, weather advice (we were there during a storm!), recommendations, was attentive and prompt for answering questions, and a cool guy overall. Beautiful area, great central location, and a great experience!

Our stay in Grenivik was wonderful. The space was beautiful, clean, and easy to find. The house overlooks a gorgeous, quiet lake with a wide view of the surrounding mountains. The laundry was a nice touch as well! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend this AirBnb to anyone considering passing through Grenivik!

Tina’s home is very comfortable and clean. Since it’s her home, the kitchen is fully stocked and Tinna invited us to help ourselves to a variety of foods (thank you for the peanut butter!). A great place for children but note that the bathroom is on the first floor while the bedrooms are upstairs. The geothermal shower is awesome! We had trouble with the front door lock but Tina came right over when we called her and showed us the trick. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

This place is great, quiet and in great location for anyone visiting iceland and the gold ring. We had a great recovery night. Thanks

Heiða Kristín’s place was perfect. Absolutely spotless and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a 2-night stay. Great view from the bedroom window too. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here for (unfortunately only) one night with a group of six people. Lovely house, very clean and with everything you need. Enjoyed every second of it. Four people could sleep upstairs and two downstairs with two separate bathrooms. Two minutes walking distance from village centre, port and Hering museum. And a beautiful view over the city and the fjord. Big recommendation! :)

Nice, comfortable apartment. Bonus, free breakfast at the hotel, free admission to the museum and 10% off at the restaurant and bar next door to the hotel. The owner is delightful and very helpful.

I really loved the place and was very comfortable. Everything felt up to date and everything was in well working condition. I arrived late at night and left early in the morning so I didn’t get to really see the area or any horses unfortunately. But had I known there were activities here as well I would’ve booked those too! Will have to consider coming back in the future.

Great location. Clean place and easy check in. Was not too hard to find parking nearby. Only addition I can think of is having a basic stock of pantry supplies which is pretty standard in other Airbnb

There were ten of us staying here for 2 nights. The place is very peaceful with many birds and long walks possible. We met the neighbor who was very kind. The house is very well stocked and lacks nothing. She's very comfortable. The hot bath is a real plus. Access to Husavik is quick. Brimrun was always very quick to respond to our questions. This passage was a real pleasure. We highly recommend.

A lovely, secluded cottage with expansive views of the valley. The location is great for day trips to waterfalls, national parks and Lake Myvatn. No light pollution and no activity at the airport for the three days we were there.

A beautiful spot! The house is cozy and better than the photos. We had some issues with getting the hot tub to fill up and get hot. But other than that, the house was great and fully equipped! Please note- the tunnel is approx $21 each way so plan your trips to Akureryi and such accordingly! The only restaurant I think nearby is at the golf course. But the house is a great spot for dining in.

This was a great place to relax and unwind. The cottage is well designed with lots of space. Our hosts went above and beyond with some very special touches during the holiday season that made us feel very at home, away from home. It was a great stay!

In Sara's house, we had to tidy up and clean up on the first day to feel comfortable. Maybe other people are more relaxed about it, but we had slightly higher standards when it comes to cleanliness. There was also little space to store your own things and clothes. After that, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time. It was cozy and relaxing, the view fantastic and the hot tub a great extra!! We were in it almost every day, even in storms and hail... Everything is available in the kitchen and there are even toys and books for children, which we really liked. Sara responded quickly and also made a discount on a whale safari possible.
