In the winter Akureyri is a winter sport town with a fabulous ski mountain Hlidarfjall.

The farm Hraunkot and horse rental Lava Horses are located between Husavik, Lake Myvatn and Akureyri, but yet in a peaceful environment with a lot of animals. Peaceful, quiet and lovely cottage placed just by our little forrest, A good place for recovery and relaxing. Located on the land of farm Syðri-Hagi on the west side of Eyjafjörður, You can explore the majestic mountain ranges and welcoming valleys either by car or on foot. In the late summer you can go berry picking on the farms land. We are located about 15 km from Dalvík and 30 km from Akureyri.

Nice apartment with a view over the fjord and the village. Two bedrooms (one kingsize bed + baby cot and one single bed) and a comfy sofa bed in the livingroom. Veranda with coal bbq. Please do the washing up in the kitchen and throw out the trash. Other cleaning services, bed linen and towels are included in the cleaning fee.

The apartment is a part of the house complex at Sunnuhlíð, a farmland close to the town of Akureyri. The apartment is perfect for four adults, two couples or families traveling on their own. We have just recently reconstructed the attic in our house into studio apartments. The space has a new bed and a sofa that can be changed into a cozy bed for 1 if you need. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and the view is extraordinary!
