Absolutely loved my stay at the Airstream! I was a beautiful and very peaceful place to stay, a great location to both Arcata and the Redwoods. Also loved the access to the hot tub— perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking! Jeffery and his family are great and responsive hosts, I felt safe and comfortable the whole stay.

This was our second time experiencing this beautiful place. We returned back because of how much fun and intimate our experience was. I definitely will be returning back.

We loved staying here when we visited Redwoods National Park. The very private hot tub in dense woods with a nice view of the night sky was a true delight after a hard day of hiking. DeVon was very helpful when we ran into a few hiccups over a holiday weekend!

This place was absolutely stunning. This was my first time visiting Humboldt after graduating in 2014. The cottage was perfectly put in the peaceful forest and had amazing amenities. The private sauna and hot tub were absolutely incredible. Would highly recommend staying at the cottage!!!

We had a blast. Super peaceful & fun. It wasn’t difficult to get into bath spaces. The room was smaller than I imagined from the pictures but it was still roomy enough for two people. Would definitely go again.

Everything was perfect! The house and the view were even more gorgeous in person. The house had absolutely everything our family needed (and more!) for our stay. The neighborhood and town were adorable and the short walk to the beach was a huge plus for us. We truly could not have asked for more and were discussing making a yearly trip after just 1 night! Would absolutely recommend this beautiful home!

We absolutely love the place.The cathedral ceilings make the rooms spacious, and the skylights fill them with natural light. The gleaming wood floors, fireplace, and built-in desk nook make it feel cozy. The cool cement kitchen counter, colors used thru-out, and decor all give it an artistic flair. The private patio was scented with a nearby flowering jasmine and lilac bush. The snacks and drinks Nancy left were greatly appreciated and welcoming. And to top it all off, the hot tub at the end of the day was sublime. What's not to like? I wish I could live there. We are definitely returning. Thanks for everything Nancy.

I spent the weekend with my parents, husband, and brother at Joan’s lovely home in Arcata, CA. It provided a great space to hang out with family and was an awesome base for our exploration of the Redwoods. I only wish we had had more time! Joan was a lovely host

What a great little place! one of the cleanest Airbnb we have ever been to. The space is very charming with a lot of prime craftsmanship furnishing the first appt, as well as the home outside. Bed was hard for our liking, but that's just our preference, I'm sure there are a lot of people who prefer a hard bed, just not us :) All in all, we give it a 5 out of 5, because of the condition and charm of the space, as well as all the little touches they implemented that made us feel they went the extra mile to make our stay positive and comfortable.

this spot was so perfect in so many ways. this was my girlfriend and my first trip together and it was our 5 year anniversary. she loves the ocean, and I love the redwoods. we have talked about doing something like this since we very first started talking. this was the perfect spot for us and we will most definitely be back. We will be making this our spot every anniversary. We both miss being there so much already. Thank you for giving us a peaceful and memorable time.

The European charm in the redwoods is truly a charm. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the friendly neighborhood cat. Upon arrival the space was clean , decorated and well stocked with the described amenities and more. The books from classic collectors to a binder on what to do and recommendations on where to eat could not have been better . Although we were there for only a short while, this location truly felt like a home and we had a fantastic time here.

Our family enjoyed our stay in the redwoods. Gorgeous, peaceful location, just up the road from a small farm where you can buy fresh eggs and other items. The home has a bunch of books for small children, so our 2 year-old was very entertained.

Dawn’s son, Tim, is running it now and he was great! I mentioned I was really excited about the electric fireplace and Tim bought one right away because the old had died. Very peaceful property. Looks exactly like the pics. Had everything we needed there. Hot water on demand, by the way, but we had no issues with it.

It’s a wonderful stay, the property and house are beautiful. We had a great time visiting with our family. John is a terrific host. We would stay there again if the opportunity comes again.

I had such a fantastic experience stay in Arcata. The space was spotless and had all the little touches that made it feel like home. The location was perfect — close to everything I wanted to see, but still peaceful and quiet at night. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, offering great local tips and making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. We had a two day stay with our baby and dog. Our stay was restful and relaxing. The space is very beautifully decorated and cozy. There were some enjoyable reads placed around the space.The kitchen was stocked with essentials and made cooking our meals easy. We appreciated the dog amenities like food bowls and dog towel to wipe paws, as well as front/back yard space for our dog to explore. Would recommend for families and dog owners.

I came to visit my son and enjoy the surrounding redwoods, but ended up having to stay indoors a lot more than planned, and I was very, very comfortable in Sara's place. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you need; I loved the firm mattress; and, being an avid reader, I loved the comfy chair in the bedroom and the bright lighting throughout. It's situated in a very quiet neighborhood, and a lovely Café is just a stone's throw down the hill. Sara's personalized Welcome sign made me feel right at home, and she was always very quick to respond when I reached out. I just really liked the place and enjoyed my stay very much!

Caroline has done an absolutely amazing job creating a comfortable and stylish space. Every detail was unique and inspiring. We can’t wait to come back again!

This is a great little place in a good spot, right next to wildberries. Clean room, too. Romi was very understanding when I messed up on the reservation and had to adjust, too.

Lovely and convenient location, feels rural, yet close to town. Nice furniture, lots of kitchen utensils and pantry items, a shelf full of field guides and novels. Altogether very pleasant place to stay.

Quiet, serene location. Great to be on the second story and look out over all of the beautiful trees. Complete with very friendly cats. Hosts are extremely responsive and amiable. Great value for size, location, and host experience. Easy in ,easy out, and comprehensive guide for people visiting from out of town. Highly recommended

Cozy little spot not far from the plaza. Solid amenities and a cute patio area. I was pleased there was not a single ant, which is just a common occurrence for homes in this county but not something that you love seeing at your airbnb. So that was actually a big pleasant surprise for me. Would return or recommend to others. I slept on the fold out couch, could not locate the designated linens for this spot but used some of my own, and it wasn’t too bad! Extremely strong water pressure on that kitchen sink haha!
